Same dysfunctional family setting, stubborn dad and submissive mom, dark humor and juvenile delinquency. Oyaji is a bit more grotesque and cartoony. Both are must reads.

Due to a disaster in the past and partially blaming himself for what happened back then, the MC laid low, until someone came along who helped him out of that negative mindset. *Both are quite emotional. *Both protect the people close to him, either as a doctor or as a dad.

Children (not per se only as young people) making mistakes with their parents feeling obligated to correct those wrongs. Showing respect and care goes a long way and is preferable to making enemies left and right!

How could hopeless delinquents be led back to the path of goodness? The two main characters in these manga decide to step in personally to teach them a lesson they won't forget. Both manga can get very violent and gore. <>Kamen Teacher: MC resorts to raw violence because they won't even listen to anything he says, Oyaji: MC himself tries not to resort to hard violence.

Hulk of a man with heart of gold delivering life lessons and fists.

Stories about hard-boiled uncompromising men who thanks to their other-worldly strength conquer every obstacle and crush anyone standing in their way. Pure GAR.

Larger-than-life, powerfully-built MCs who also happen to have hearts of gold and communicate with their fists. They're certainly a little hard to look at, but the main characters are pretty similar in their 'silent giant' appeal.

okan is about a mother's love and sacrifice for her child, oyaji is by the same author and the story is the same more or less; a father's sacrifice for his kids. Both teach us a valuable lesson.
