The author of Red Hood previously worked with Horikoshi on BNHA. They have similar artstyles and earnest, intelligent protagonists. Both involve a cast of characters with diverse skillsets. 

Both are based around darker interpretations of traditional fairy tales in this case, little red riding hood as well as both sharing stylish art as well too. 

Very similar set up all around: -Strong female warrior travels around killing monsters for money (Werewolves instead of Yoma). -Young boy travels with female warrior after having been orphaned by monsters. The main twist with Red Hood is that everything so far is fairy tale themed (specifically red riding hood).
