I don't understand the absurd amount of backlash or critiques this manga has; after reading it, I would've thought it was well-loved considering how strong the initial chapter was and the maintenance of said greatness. However, where there is praise, there are also people who find wrong in the well-executed; one claim that is somewhat valid is the boring attributes and aimless plot the manga has at times; however, that is not enough to discredit all the author's efforts to build a compelling story with good developments and characters.

of fan service is as if the reviewer never paid attention to the manga's world building or how the artist depicts said scenes. To counterclaim said ridiculous point, the artist has never once created a full-on fan service, ass-riddled scenes; whenever there were illustrations of rape, the females were in no way, shape, or form depicted in an erotic manner, as it is shunned according to the world-building and common human sense.
Another baseless critique was the "boring characters" which is absolute nonsense. The main character may not make the greatest expressions or have the most wild/entertaining personality, but, he is in no way boring. He undergoes trials, rejection, and development; he may not have the most stern or noble goal, but it was made clear by the world building that it is essential to him. For other characters, they undergo the same developments and add some humor to the otherwise "boring" plot.
This manga may not have the most unique or heroic plot line and twists, creating some boring moments to arise, but the world building and slow developments overshadow such a measly feature. If you get sensitive over the slightest mention of rape, even if it is used to build the world and characters, then that is where the hate stems from; however, put that aside for a moment, and you'd realize this manga is written extraordinary well with some humor while avoiding the clichés.
PS: I didn't want to make a review on this manga after finishing it, but I saw the ridiculous false statements, so I had to write one.
