The moment I saw the characters and double checked the title I knew I read that before. It had great ideas and some really good stories to show in the beginning. Well that's ruined, but a review by Hypokrites covered that much better than I will, so I will cut to the chase(And warn about spoilers): Don't waste your time, because if the story won't derail from source material, your in for a journey of catching up to new power levels that actually are never really delivered or shown properly. They play out more like a teenage kid showing off just yet another time. I ... read and watched many like these, with more hope "it will be better" than I should. Too invested to quit. If that's also your thing then there's surviving the initial episodes or reading the web comic.

(Here comes the rest of the spoiler) There are opponents that could have had their time to be something more than a looming threat and then became a pebble on the road. There are characters that are unique and have decent story or potential for one, but are left down the power scale. Just another time of: Too bad I guess.

A greatly drawn manga with unusual plot and charming characters. The bad thing is there's too little of it yet. The controversial things are: There's blood and fights with as of yet not named oppponents dying in bloody fashion, no tag of gore. There's what I would call a modest level of fanservice in general but for 3 panels- "Oh No! Too much skin for sensitive people!"- said some people so I feel offended by them and not the small panels. The same medieval setting and theme of greenskin rape like in Goblin Slayer but here it seems the prospect is lighthearted at last up ... to chapter 8.1. So despite the summary the focus is as of yet on the growth and maturing of orc warrior and fantasy circumstances and not obscene depictions. He meets women and girls, truly shocking for some.

The summary could say the main character Bash goes on a mission to find a wife, but... It actually says "to get rid of his virginity". A shot to the foot with a summary like that imo.

Chap 8.1 is a strange way of counting to 16... Because chapters are 1.1, 1.2, 2.1 etc. The story seems to be thought out with a brain and not with a gruel- By that I mean the author is building up the setting and is not failing at it miserably like most titles are. The story can go dark or slice of life but as of right now it just takes best of both worlds. It could be somewhat of a spiritual successor to Berserk or just start running out of ideas... Or just go like mainstream gruel, spewing bullshit... Would be nice to have a real dark story but there's only just potential for intrigue.
