Life is difficult, often cruel, often so random in its misfortunes but it's even worse when you pile on unscrupulous individuals and groups well-aware and intentful in their malice. Can someone wounded beyond imagination, ever trust let alone find love? Could it be that there could be two of such people and could they find love? and if they do, can they hold on to it or will it implode in their hands?
This story brings together two such beautiful people, in a bitter-sweet taisho tear jerker. Will the author let them have a happy ending?

The art style is gorgeous. The character building sophisticated. It's from ... Mironaga Miku who also wrote Marry me again if we're reborn so that was a tearjerker too.

Kimi no Koe starts off with a lot of promise. Its premise is genuinely intriguing and its backed by nice art and characters who actions and emotions feel grounded in their backstories. The male lead's reluctance to open himself to love and the female lead's struggle to express herself are entirely understandable as both were shaped by painful and complex childhoods.

Unfortunately, that strong foundation is let down by poor pacing, disjointed chapters, and relationship development events occurring behind the scenes. On top of that, the mid tier translation makes the flow of conversations weird at times.

Kimi no Koe is a story with heart but no ... the follow through to match.

This is just straight up garbage. It's an incredibly cliché story, the humor always falls flat, and the pages/panels feel insanely disorganized and confusing at times. Plus some chapters are interrupted by stupid "extra chapters" right when the story starts getting interesting, however because of the interruption you end up losing all the interest. The art is also just about average and the plot is rushed.

I dropped it after chapter 19 because it was obvious that the author was struggling for ideas to come up with a shitty cliché plot like the one they did. Seriously, it's worse than a telenovela/soap opera plot. It's fucking ... disgusting.

Anyway, this was a waste of freaking time.
