Life is difficult, often cruel, often so random in its misfortunes but it's even worse when you pile on unscrupulous individuals and groups well-aware and intentful in their malice. Can someone wounded beyond imagination, ever trust let alone find love? Could it be that there could be two of such people and could they find love? and if they do, can they hold on to it or will it implode in their hands?
This story brings together two such beautiful people, in a bitter-sweet taisho tear jerker. Will the author let them have a happy ending?

Preliminary (33/37 chp)
I haven't been so angry about a manga in a long, long time. 'Kimi no Koe' had it all - an intriguing premise, a beautiful historical setting, and gorgeous art. Up until chapter 18-19 or so, it was a firm 8/10.

And then the ridiculous drama came in. But wait, that wasn't enough. An already thick layer of absurdity was followed by ANOTHER pile of even more stupid and ridiculous circumstances. Suspension of disbelief is a good thing when you're reading drama - after all, a pinch of illogical/overblown moments is what makes things spicier.
