The story starts out as being pretty enjoyable for the first handful of chapters but it soon regresses into a repetitive drag. It is very hard to root for an MC that seems to be unnecessarily asshole-ish to everyone. The side characters might as well not exist and they do absolutely nothing to further the plot- which is already extremely convoluted in and of itself. The art is good but nothing special. Which is something can be said about the entire manga itself- a fair way to pass your time but do not expect to be blown away by it's story and character depth.

I really don't understand why this is getting such low reviews. It's a unique spin on the whole "dungeons invade earth" trope that Manhwa writers really seem to like. The main complaint I see is the MC's treatment of his employees, which I do agree is a bit uncalled for, but if you actually read a bit further, you can see he really does care about them. The harsh treatment is a result of his experiences with his comrades' betrayal before his regression, and it is evident in his personality. Another reason for his behaivior is that he cannot show any weakness to his relics. ... I also really like the fact that the depiction of the world's hierarchy is probably the most accurate of any dungeon manhwa. People are not going to line up into neat little guilds and share the responsibility, most likely, there will be a large monopoly by one group with others struggling to take hold and eventually getting swallowed up by said monopoly. The worldbuilding is very good, the comedy is also very enjoyable, and the plot points make a decent amount of sense. Overall, if you are going to read this, please make sure to actually read and not just blindly follow the reviews.

Tomb Raider King has always been enjoyable, from its characters and the comedy to some of the action scenes in this manga. The art is consistently nice to look at as well.

However, while it's enjoyable, it does have it's flaws. Constant complaints about the author abandoning powers after just recently introducing them, repetitive villains that keep coming back and sometimes a lack of drive.

Regardless, it's great to see characters interact with their companions and seeing some parts of history being explained and imagined in the way of the relic.

Overall, the focus was never the story or super in-depth characters, but more of the experience of ... seeing how someone can use mythology to make creative powers and to root for our protagonist to gain more powers.

Enjoyable, but has its boring moments.

Good story, quality art and drawing, good characters and a very good use of everything that has to do with mythology and religion.
The story is very interesting, it has more than 300 chapters (up to the date of this review) and the action and history are not lacking.

This manhwa is as good as his novel and I can only say that the grade it has in MAL is not deserved.

If you don't believe me don't judge by this review or the others, go and read only 10 chapters and then decide whether to continue reading it or not.

Art: Standard art, more saturated than 2015 romantic comedy art, there's nothing new or special about the style, it's just the standard manhwa art.

Story: kind of a big mess, it's practically a piece of abstract modern art. The way the author wrote this is criminal, things just suddenly happen for no reason, it changes focus a lot and none of the changes are smooth, but in the story there is also the biggest flaw in this manhwa, the endless and unsufferable nothingness of the plot, everything is dragged out too much almost like it was testing my willpower to continue, there's just so much unnecessary ... stuff there, it's absolutely possible to cut around 150 of the chapters easily without changing one bit of the main plot.

Characters: no relic is interesting character wise, there is the fire madman, the 3 dogs and around 7000 objects that speak, of all of them only the crow, the rope and the worm have a some sort of a personality, maybe I'm even forcing a little saying that the rope is interesting, because it's only character trait is being affixed to the protagonist, and nothing else, but it is what it is, the worm is the only comic relief that is even remotely decent in the manhwa, dont't get me wrong, the worm's comedy scenes are never funny, but i didn't feel any pain while reading through them, the crow is the only interesting character in the story, it has a concrete objective, a backstory, a personality, is it just another animal that turns into a hot woman? Yes, but again, it is what it is, at least she has a certain level of development. I'm not going to talk about any antagonist/villain because they are all completely disposable, and are turned into shitty comic relief whenever possible to take away all of the possible seriousness that the manhwa could have, and all for 3 scenes of Adam Saddler levels of comedy.

Fights: I honestly think that none of the 1v1s were good, there are some tedious fights that hurt your soul, even when the gods start beating the living shit out of each other, it's boring because it has no impact. There is also the "Madara Effect" in this manhwa, the protagonist is so stupidly strong that when he loses a fight It's just because the author pulled something out of his anal cavities to provide some challenge, but it's too forced and very poorly done, all the fights look like turn-based RPG combat, hit, hit, hit, say something stupid, hit and repeat.

Romance: non-existent, which is actually unbelievable. In 412 chapters of story, literally the size of Berserk, the author was simply unable to make the romantic progress have even a slim of smoothness, the progress of the romance is: they meet, and literally a post-sex scene, alone, with no change in attitude, neither a change on they're relationship, nothing. It also doesn't help that the main heroine is as interesting as a doorframe, she's literally just there to be the dumbass that the protagonist sometimes has sex with.

Positive points of the manga: very rarely it does have a good fight or an slightly interesting dialogue sequence, maybe some okay comedy too but i don't really remember seeing any.

Final considerations: none.

Definitely not worth the time to read, dear God.
Bad and on top of that a massive waste of time 3/10.

Sad attempt at making a badass character. Making your character a BAD guy and an ASS doesn't make him badass. That just makes him annoying. The MC is rude and mean to people for no reason and treats people that were his friends in his recent life like shit. I understand that he is a bit blinded for revenge but dude only like 3 people made your life shit don't go around killing and beating up people because now you're strong. The MC also doesn't have a clear goal, he wants relics and a bit of revenge but nothing is clear and it takes a ... huge amount of chapters before we can somehow guess what he wants to do.

The only thing that keeps me going is the fact that the relics and their powers are linked to real life legends. That makes it somehow interesting even though the whole thing is a ripoff of Solo Leveling.

Great and funny manga. Recommended for anyone that likes Solo Leveling or simmillar mangas. You can learn a bit about history and items connected to it. Characters are uniquire and story is quite unpredictable. Maybe main character looks like a villiain, but he has morality and punish the bad guys. He is weak at beginning but get better as story progress. Art style is good,, many details and many relicts. Characters reacts very realisticly to situation that they are. I hope that there were some after stories or additional chapters about it. I hope that there will be more mangas like thats one. You ... can never get bored with it.

Ok, so let me write an actual review since read it this far.
Many people say that mc is an asshole, well he is. but not for no reason. He treats his team, friends, and family well. Taking care of and helping them out if needed. He got betrayed in his past life (not a spoiler since it happened at the 1st chapters anyways). He helps civilians the most in Manhua compared to other parties. He hate that one guy a lot? duh.. he died coz of him, why would he not hate him for that..?
Now let talk about rating ^^
Story: 10/10 Great as solo lvling, ... and has a long story with is great, I have more to read and it's not fillers or meaningless chapters.. let's say it's something like tower of god (a lot chapters and all have meaning)
Art: Great as solo lvling, there is nothing else to say :D special effects are great and so on.

Now for the end, highly recommend reading this masterpiece, at the start for some it might look boring, but it's the same with tower of god and so on.

Tomb Raider King is in my opinion an amazing manhwa that just absorbs me in but if we're talking about the general story at hand, then it's pretty boring. The mc Seo Joo Heon is not even a badass is he's just ass. The plot tends to be repetitive and the antagonists barely ever change which doesn't really give the story much of a chance to expand its plot. The only thing that's interesting about it is the creative use of relics and their mythological and historical origins and how they can turn them into items with cool ooga booga power items

The manhwa was very interesting in the beginning and its quite interesting later too but the ending which i hope is nearing is kind of going all over the place but yes... if one has a lot of time to spare its a good read and also gives a lot of information about lot of different mythologies and historic events.
The MC might not be the best guy but is still ok considering his back story and it being a manhwa. The side characters also each get a back story over the time as the MC's squad grows so over all there is a nice character ... development.

Dropped

The story itself is pretty interesting. However, the story just got far extended that I dropped it. I've read +200 chapters and the pace may seem good at first, but after a while it got boring from all the repeats of the president chasing the protagonist. I liked the side characters, but some important ones got their appearance in the far later chapters. The attitude of the protagonist may disturb some readers, but i think it's a character that fits the story. Wished they cut the story a bit shorter, could have been a really good read.

I don't recommend stating to read this one, except ... you have a lot of time in your hands.

Tomb Raider King offers an uniteresting aproach to the power system of webtoons with its new relics which are basicly items with peronalities, the reggresor part of it starts to fall off after a while and the story drags on for too long.
The art is decent and its not a bad read. The characters were well written all with their uniqe personalities but were often forgotten or just used as comic relief,.It has been a few months since i have read this so my memory is not up to date but the villans were kinda bland to be honest and the often resuferd again after ... a while witouth any obvius power up just beacues i guess the story needed to continue?

The story is very bad because it is boring and poorly written. All the characters are annoying and unlikable. It is very predictable because every chapter is the same thing repeated over and over again. I usually love this genre, but I do not like this manhwa. The MC acts like a criminal and doesn't seem to have human emotions. Everyone is written as if they are robots that lack empathy. There is nothing wrong with the overall plot, but it is so poorly implemented that I could never recommend something this bad. Everything that happens in this series has been done before and much ... better. I read a lot of manhwa and this is by far the worst I've read. I do not think others will enjoy this series because it is so bad.
