Pick me up! A story you must read

Pick me up is based on a web novel with the same name and which manages to adapt mostly well. A story that although it may seem simple, is full of mysteries, adventures, difficulties to overcome, sad moments, despair and joy (I know this because although the manhwa is not finished the novel is).

The main character Han is one of the most "human" characters that I have seen better represented in any manhwa, with a representation of an adult mentality in my opinion very well achieved, some people will confuse him as an EDGY character and I ... think they can not be more wrong. It is a character that is not easy to "read between the lines" because little by little he is showing how he is, he is not a character with a past in which he has lived through an ordeal and is looking for revenge. No, his principles are different and the desperation that he and his companions suffer in order to survive every day is what gives emotion to this story and makes the characters be the way they are and act the way they have to.

The world in which they live is not an easy world full of roses, NO! It is a cruel world in which the weak die either by the high difficulty fights carried out in the tower or by the care of not being synthesized by their master. A world that brings out the best and the worst of each person that arrives and that only the most capable to adapt to the situation they are in are the ones that have the best chance to survive.

Pick me up! Una obra que debes leer

Pick me up esta basada en una web novela con el mismo nombre y el cual logra adaptar en su gran mayoria bien. Una historia que aunque pueda parecer simple, esta lleno de misterios, aventuras, dificultades a superar, momentos tristes, de desesperación y de alegría (esto lo se porque aunque el manhwa no este finalizado la novela si lo esta).

El personaje principal Han es uno de los personajes mas "humanos" que he visto mejor representado en algun manhwa, con representación de una mentalidad adulta en mi parecer muy bien lograda, algunos personas lo confundirán como un personaje EDGY y creo que no pueden estar mas equivocados. Es un personaje que no es facil "leer entre lineas" ya que poco a poco el va mostrando como es, no es personaje con un pasado en el que haya vivido por un calvario y anda en busca de venganza. No, sus principios son otros y la desesperación que sufren tanto el como sus compañeros en poder sobrevivir cada dia es lo que le da emocion a esta historia y hace que los personajes sean como son y actué de la forma que tienen que hacerlo.

El mundo en el que viven no es un mundo facil y lleno de rosas, NO!! es un mundo cruel en el que el débil muere ya sea por las luchas de alta dificultad llevadas a cabo en la torre o por el cuidado de no ser sintetizados por su maestro. Un mundo que saca lo mejor y lo peor de cada persona que llega y que solo los mas capaces a adaptarse a la situación en la que están son los que mas chance de sobrevivir tienen.

Sin duda una de mis historias favoritas que recomendaría leer a cualquiera (tanto manhwa como WN) al menos que no te gusten las historias serias y con un desarrollo lleno de misterios.

I started it with no expectations and it totally captured me, without a doubt a work that has been treated unfairly. Story and script with coherence, a plot of the best, actions that make sense, very well defined and characterized characters and a very good art (not the best art I've seen but it's very good anyway).

And although there are only a few chapters the plot unfolds very well, it is better that they are few and of quality.
If you are one of those who like that the character shows a development and can even leave you teachings, no doubt this is a work that ... you have to read. It became one of my favorites.

To be honest the manhwa has parts that are funny and can bring a smile. But even so, the fact that they want to give it a romance ruins it, not because the characters are poorly made. It's just that the decisions and actions don't have a backstory. I can believe even a part about the guy infatuated with a girl, but the fact that they make it without a backstory is totally fucked up, there are NO INTERACTIONS, or at least not that they give the feeling that something serious can happen between them.

I do not recommend it at all, spoiler that is not ... spoiler (because it is more than obvious), for those who are interested in knowing who he ends up with.
It ends with the blonde and without any background of why and it gave me repelus to read the last chapters a horrible Sención of dissatisfaction, something that had not happened to me before xd. I don't think it's bad that it ends with that character, but if it doesn't have a development and on top of that it doesn't go according to the personalities and acts of the main characters it seems very bad to me.

I could say a list of the disagreements of what I think is very poorly developed but the truth is that I don't even feel like it, I'll just give some examples and whoever wants to continue reading the manhwa should do it.

- The story says that the guy can't interact with women and that he dislikes them but out of nowhere he manages to make friends only with women.

- The interactions between the prota and the blonde prota are null and void and they work out their problems early on without any apparent reason other than the good faith of the world.

- The story leads you to the fact that the "possible" girlfriends of the prota are 2 but if you pay attention and don't let yourself be fooled by this attempt you already know who he ends up with since you only see the cover of the manhwa (personally I didn't dislike any of the 2 possible girlfriends but I think they made the romance very bad).

I don't know much about medicine, but I can say that this manhwa presents a very good story for what it is and I say this because of the following things.

-- The story is very interesting and easy to get along with.
Although I am not a medical student or any medical professional, I can see how much effort the author put into the story and how much use he made of his knowledge of medicine, making it very interesting and easy for the reader to follow.
-- The main character shows real growth.
As the story progresses, we are truly shown the growth of the persoanje, not ... only at the level of achievement or personal development. But overcoming real moments of difficulty that a person can face in real life.
-- very entertaining and fun to read.
The story as I said before is very bearable, I say this because even when dealing with serious issues these are not heavy and full of information for the reader, but just enough is said to understand the situation.
-- It has argumentative twists and leaves lessons for the reader.
Although one internally wants to see everything turn out well, if we are presented with the solution right away it only makes the rest of the plot dull. That is why I liked the way in which the solutions are presented little by little and in a very satisfactory way. And this is only achieved thanks to the author's guidance and to make us empathize with his character. Because in the end, if there are no problems and everything is not easily solved, then the plot becomes empty. That's why I like that the author makes argumentative twists and does not allow everything to go as you want from the beginning, but makes you want even more the return / rise and improvement of the protagonist.

Undoubtedly a 100% recommended reading.

I didn't like the story at all. I thought that at some point the story was going to get better, but it didn't. If you are the type of person who likes stories that leave you with something, show you a lesson or at least the characters show some personal/mental development, then this manhwa is not for you. Basically it is just pure fantasy with characters that are not willing to accept the reality that is hard for each of them to live. And this happens from the beginning to the end of the manhwa, it does not leave any teaching and the story is ... not even acceptable enough to recommend reading it.

In the course of the whole story, the characters show 0% growth and only get deeper into their complexes, without overcoming them and just running away from them all.

The only positive thing I think is the art and the idea of chance and dice. It just seems to me that the main characters and the story itself were guided very badly, "escape from reality only by the help of some magic dice, no matter the effort or your work. The reality that you live, if you are ugly you are doomed and if you are bad at something, no matter if you practice you will still be bad" THAT is what this manhwa transmits. People who think like this blame and denigrate people's efforts.

To give an example, a famous soccer player had to kick 10000 or more penalties to be able to score a single penalty kick. I don't play professional soccer but I am sure of it.

In conclusion, I just think that you may like this manhwa if you are looking for an escape from reality. I don't personally recommend reading it, since there is nothing that allows me to recommend it, the battles are not great (there are so many manhwas/mangas with better fights) and the story itself is bad. One more addition: I think the ending would have been good if the characters had accepted that their life is like this and that's what it is. That not everyone has it easy and that some do, but even so that does not prevent your happiness or stop fighting in this life (to give an example of an ending). Because with the original ending, the characters from the beginning to the end, have not had a single moment of personal growth, besides all the problems of the characters have been solved by magic and they have only ESCAPED from all their "flaws and mistakes" but not OVERCOME them.

Good story, quality art and drawing, good characters and a very good use of everything that has to do with mythology and religion.
The story is very interesting, it has more than 300 chapters (up to the date of this review) and the action and history are not lacking.

This manhwa is as good as his novel and I can only say that the grade it has in MAL is not deserved.

If you don't believe me don't judge by this review or the others, go and read only 10 chapters and then decide whether to continue reading it or not.

I give this note for the simple fact that it is a very predictable plot, unless you are looking to see "one more love story" I would not recommend that you watch this anime. The ending of this romance is predictable and without much to prove, it basically has no plot twists and it is not difficult to know how the characters will end.
The ending disappointed me a lot, because being predictable I thought it would be better.

(this is not a summary of the story I'm just explaining why I don't like the ending moderators, please don't downgrade my review)

Personally, I believe that the story of both protagonists fleeing and then marrying and that in the end none of that happens and that everything ends where it started is a waste of time and a pointless argument that does not contribute anything interesting. It would have been better, that both protagonists did not end up together and that only Ryuuji managed to achieve her love with Minori. As long as Taiga ended up alone and maintaining friendship with others or having another love outside of the protagonists, there would have been no problem seeing that Taiga if fell in love with Ryuuji, but that Ryuuji did not reciprocate beyond that the plot wants to show that for him The fact of the time that Ryuuji and Taiga shared both end up falling in love, when it does not necessarily have to be like that and they can end up being a good friendship without any problem and in which only one or neither has aroused feelings for each other.

Conclusion
I am not a screenwriter and I am not an expert in stories and character development, but from the beginning the viewer can discover through their own conclusions and just by watching the first episode of what is the only important argumentative twist that this anime has. If you see the first episode, the conclusions that can be drawn are that either both of them end up with the people with whom they are in love, only one of the two manages to be with that person and the most obvious is that both protagonists end up falling in love with each other.

Danmachi (a beautiful work)

A work that focuses on Bell Cranel, a 14 year old boy who becomes an adventurer and shows us his story.

The novel currently has 17 volumes and as I have been reading them I have gone through all kinds of emotions, from moments of anger, hate, laughter, joy and sadness.
The author manages to make you go through those emotions and makes the scenarios feel like he writes them, imagining each scenario is easy because of the descriptions he gives of the moments they live, both the description of the environment and the actions taken by the characters are easy to understand ... and imagine (since they have their plot), such as refusing a hand.

I like this work because the thinking of the protagonist is pure and his desires are laudable, the battles, misfortunes and joys they go through are satisfying and the feeling is shared with the reader. And the Plot twists that the plot creates are unexpected and satisfying.

Accompanied by their companions, which tell their respective backgrounds and explain why they are the way they are. They make you take an attachment to many of them, to the point that the villains have generated a certain attachment to them and made me wish they could have a good ending.

Since we are talking about their companions, the background of the gods and their followers is very well achieved. Respecting to a great extent what is known of them by mythology, an example of this could be the spells that are recited (that the one who knows mythology will find a great depth and sense), or the personalities of the gods and their qualities.

Whether or not you have seen the anime or read the manga, I would recommend that you give it a chance, as the anime and manga lose a lot of detail of this work. I think it may serve you well to have seen the anime or manga so you can get a better mental picture of who and what the characters are like.

Summary:

A work with a lot of detail/argument (both settings, actions/decisions and characters).
It also has a great backstory, which I personally think is fabulous. If you avoid spoilers you can't stop being surprised and the more you read the more you scale the story it presents.
With many plot twists and teachings that can be transmitted (values, thoughts, etc.), full of funny, sad and happy moments.
A reading that I find entertaining and profitable.

Danmachi (una obra hermosa)

Una obra que se centra en Bell Cranel, un chico de 14 años el cual se convierte en aventurero y nos muestra su historia.

La novela actualmente cuenta con 17 volúmenes y a medida que los he ido leyendo he pasado por todo tipos de emociones, desde de momentos de enojo, odio, risas, alegría y tristeza.
El autor logra que pases por esas emociones y logra hacer que los escenarios se sientan como el los escribe, imaginar cada escenario es fácil por las descripciones que da de los momentos que viven, tanto como la descripción del ambiente como de las acciones que toman los personajes son fáciles de entender y de imaginar (ya que cuentan con su argumento), como puede ser el rechazar una mano.

Me gusta esta obra porque el pensamiento del protagonista es puro y sus deseos son loables, las batallas, las desgracias y alegrías que pasan son satisfactorias y se comparten el sentimiento con el lector. Y los Plot twist que la trama crea son inesperados y satisfactorios.

Acompañado de sus compañeros, el cual cuentan con sus respectivos trasfondo y explica el porque ellos son así. Hacen que tomes un apego con muchos de ellos, hasta el punto de que los villanos me han generado un cierto apego a ellos y me han hecho desear que puedan tener un buen final.

Ya que estamos hablando de sus compañeros, el trasfondo de los dioses y sus seguidores esta muy bien logrado. Respetando en gran medida lo que se sabe de ellos por mitologia, un ejemplo de esto podría ser los hechizos que se recitan (que el que sepa de mitologia les a encontrar una gran profundidad y sentido), o las personalidades de los Dioses y sus cualidades.

Hayas o no visto el anime o leído el manga, recomendaría que le des una oportunidad, ya que el anime y el manga pierden mucho detalle de esta obra. Creo que puede servirte el haber visto el anime o el manga para así poder tener una mejor imagen mental de quienes y como son los personajes.

Resumen:

Una obra con mucho detalle/argumento (tanto de escenarios, acciones/decisiones y personajes).
Además tiene un gran trasfondo he historia, que en lo personal me parece fabulosa. Si evitas los spoilers no puedes parar de sorprenderte y mientras mas lees mas escala la historia que presenta.
Con muchos Plot twist y enseñanzas que pueden llegar transmitir (valores, pensamientos, etc.), llena de momentos graciosos, tristes y alegres.
Una lectura que me es entretenida y lucrativa.

LOUSY ADAPTATION

Let me explain, I started reading the light novel of Mushoku Tensei Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu and I loved it, then I watched the first season of the anime and it was a "faithful" adaptation to what would be the light novel. But in this second season with only see 10 episodes and have read the light novel. I can not recommend that you watch this second season, at least if you read the light novel.

I recommend if you really like this isekai that you read the light novel, as for me that's where the real plot comes out. This season I would only ... recommend watching it to get a sort of "vizual likeness" of the important scenes that happen in the novel.

One of the main differences you are going to notice in the light novel and the anime is the character of Rudeos, the character in the anime with respect to the one in the novel are TOTALLY DIFFERENT and the important scenes shown in the anime occur in some TOTALLY DIFFERENT ways with respect to those in the light novel.

PÉSIMA ADAPTACIÓN

Déjen que me explique, empecé leyendo la novela ligera de Mushoku Tensei Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu y me encanto, Luego vi la primera temporada del anime y dentro de lo que cabia se hizo una "fiel" adaptación a lo que seria la novela ligera. Pero en esta segunda temporada con solo ver 10 episodios y haber leído la novela ligera. No puedo recomendar que vean esta segunda temporada, al menos si leyeron la novela ligera.

Recomiendo si en verdad te gusta este isekai que leas la novela ligera, ya que para mi es donde el verdadero argumento sale a relucir. Esta temporada solo la recomendaría ver para tener una especia de "semejanza vizual" de las escenas importantes que ocurren en la novela.

Una de las principales diferencias que van a notar en la novela ligera y el anime es el personaje de Rudeos, el personaje del anime con respecto al de la novela son TOALMENTE DIFERENTES y las escenas importantes que se muestran en el anime ocurren en algunas de manera TOTALMENTE DISTINTA con respecto a las de la novela ligera.

Re: Zero is not a fanservise, it is an anime that makes you see the worst in a person, the limits they can reach and the despair they can succumb to. But even showing you all that you find unpleasant, it does not stop giving acts of hope in small ways.
This anime will make you hate or disgust the protagonist at certain times, that you think is pathetic and until you feel sorry for it. But even seeing all that misery, one manages to understand why he succumbs and suffers all of it and why he is ... like that. Their climax moments, even if they seem to take time to arrive, have their flavor, and it is necessary to go through the unpleasant field to be able to truly enjoy the climax.
I recommend seeing it, and especially to people who have felt that they have been in a well from which they cannot get out and who later manage to overcome it.

Hermoso, simplemente hermoso, en especial la primera temporada es hermosa.
Re:Zero no es un fanservise, es un anime que te hace ver lo peor de una persona, los limites que esta puede alcanzar y la desesperacion a la que puede sucumbir. Pero aun mostrándote todo eso que te parece desagradable, no deja de dar en pequeñas formas actos de esperanza.
Este anime va hacer que odies o que te repugne el protagonista en ciertos momentos, que pienses que es patético y hasta que te de pena. Pero aun viendo toda esa miseria, uno logra entender porque sucumbe y sufre todo ello y porque el es así. Sus momentos de climax aunque te parezcan que tardan en llegar tienen su sabor, y es necesario pasar por el campo desagradable para poder verdaderamente poder disfrutar el climax.
Lo recomiendo ver y mucho en especial a las personas que se han sentido que han estado en un pozo del cual no pueden salir y que luego logran superarlo.
