Well, I just finished this manga and in a way I had a good time, it's like taking the concept of the Bully who is in love with the main character but giving it a twist that she ends up being the embarrassed one, I think it's refreshing.
Story: The truth is simple in everything, from the plot itself to the narrative, but it's not heavy, but if I have something bad to say it was the ending, it really felt more like the beginning of an arc than an ending, it was too dry, insipid to be one.
Characters: The characters were likable from my point

Heart warming and wholesome . The art is good especially Himawaka's reactions are shown well . it's Unfortunate that this got axed.
When it comes to Doujima(mc) he's always expressionless and straight forward with his feelings but he's not dense and ... Jun 21, 2022
(review with some minor spoilers)
I read this not expecting much of it, thinking it would be pretty average and that I would probably drop it after a few chapters. Surprisingly, the story picked my interest and I got hooked on how the main characters relationships progressed. STORY: 7 The story is not really that creative. The female lead is your stereotypical girl that likes to tease the MC, but in this case it usually is the girl who ends up embarrased. The plot is really simple and it progresses in a slow but steady pace, furthermore the ending is quite satisfying. ART: 8 The art in this manga is ... Oct 26, 2021
Super cute manga that was unfortunately axed.
At time of writing this review, I've read all 31 chapters that are out. I loved the interactions between our two main leads, Himewaka is super cute, and there was actually some development between the two. I feel like the comedy in this manga was actually handled pretty well, and didn't grow to be too tiresome. Maybe due to its short length, or I don't know. I would've also wanted to have a clearer and "more" of romantic development, but... well, you know. ... Nov 13, 2021
It was a really good romantic comedy story which i think is quite unique on its own because of the domination loss lol. There is a reverse teasing part which i like very much because I'm a boy too xd. But really it was very wholesome and heartwarming.
Now lets get to the real review, artwork is good but not excellent, characters are great, supporting characters are somewhat so so but this is what makes it fun because more time is focused on the main characters. Spoilers ** Though I wanted a little more after the confession story, what happens with their love life, how ... May 7, 2022
STORY:
Story is about a girl named Himekawa who likes to tease her classmate Doujima. I expected a cliche manga where the guy will react in a way most of anime/manga MCs will but I was wrong. Doujima's reactions make every teasing Himekawa does backfire. And that is really funny. ART: The character designs are simple yet really nice. I find Himekawa too well-endowed but well, at least it's good art! CHARACTER: The characters are very likeable. Himekawa's antics are funny and the way Doujima reacts makes him a chad. Also, the friend characters are nice and supportive. The cast isn't very big and it makes the manga easy to ... Jun 10, 2021
Great little story, not a great deal of story but a nice little slice of life and romance mixed together.
Story 6 There isnt a great deal of story here, apart from the Takagi-san esque building of a romantic relationship through teasing. Art 7 Theres something charming about the art style here. its kind of like oremio. The art is cutsey and does is job well, especially in the reactions department and is good enough to convey lovely moments between the characters. ... Nov 30, 2023
A sweet rom-com that made me giggle and grin on more than a few occasions. There was only one chapter that I didn't really like, the one with the dog, since it doesn't really fit with the wholesome vibes of the rest of the manga.
I wish more rom-coms had MLs and FLs similar to Doujima and Himewaka. They're inexperienced, but at least they don't shut down and start stuttering at every little thing, especially Doujima. There's no stalling either, once the leads acknowledged what they felt for each other, they started thinking of ways to confess and didn't drag it on forever. Plus, there are ... Jun 17, 2021
One word descriptions would be: average, middle-of-the-road, simple
To put it in more words, there isn't a lot unique about this story. For me it serves as something to just read and not care a lot about. The art-style is decent and the chapter to chapter story isn't super detailed or intriguing, but isn't the "simple and precious" type of simple you would wish for out of some other stories like , its just plain simple, the writing is pretty standard and the progression of the couple seems to be pretty safe so far (as of chapter 22). This story is what I would consider boring mainly ... Mar 13, 2024
tl;dr: A somewhat amusing rom-com about a girl trying to tease her crush but failing.
This is one of those manga where a super outgoing girl, in this case Himekawa, teases a more reserved boy, in this case Doujima, who she clearly likes. What makes this manga somewhat different is that the teasing always backfires. Not due to the actions of the male lead, but rather due to how he doesn’t really take any actions at all. Doujima completely brushes off the teasing which generally causes Himekawa to get frustrated and screw up in some way or another, causing her to be the one that ends ... |
