Weeeellllcommeeeee back everyone to another installment of “We’re Not Blood-Related, So Everything’s Perfectly Fine!” As for this manga, it’s an absolute dumpster fire, however, I’m ashamed to admit that as it progresses I find myself more and more enticed with the plot line and eventual ending. Though the plot is enticing, it does not mean that it is good; the plot is typical, and there are numerous forced events to “drive” it, causing an unnatural flow in the story and a god-forsaken amount of characters.

The plot flows unnaturally; in other words, there’s really no clear distinction between each conflict; the author just inserts events ... and pointless character drama once another is finished. Despite that, the plot isn’t boring in any way nor is it uncomfortable to read. It’s the typical power fantasy with loose ends the author never finishes, but it’s enjoyable.

The characters are the bright spots about this manga; each character is distinguishable, which is really rare and hard to do for a harem manga, and they all add some value to the story and it’s entertainment. There are some cliche, forced characters that are solely made to be bad, but they get “developed” like the rest of the characters in the manga, making them rather enjoyable to have. At times though, there’s simply too many; to be specific, there’s too many harem candidates; most of the villains and side characters are females, which makes it harder for each of them to develop and have depth.

I’m conflicted with the manga: On one hand, I want the manga to follow the normal route where the father is a regular, loving parent that finds a wife, but on the other hand, my inner degeneracy takes over, desiring for the insekai harem ending with the +1s. Usually, my answer is decisive, especially after 34 chapters, however, that is also a testament to how well-written most of the characters are, no matter how frustrating some of them may come off as. Somehow, I couldn’t find myself to drop this manga the further it progresses; once you’re in the rabbit hole of this, you can’t get out. Thanks author.

Story 8/10:

The story is pretty expected of an Isekai, the story isn’t the main focus on the manga and more of a backstage for the characters to shine, which in that respect it has done really well. Also, dadcon genres in an Isekai setting is rare to come by, and this one executed it pretty much flawlessly.

Art 9/10:

Great artwork and especially impressive that it remained consistently good for all 3 phases of all 3 daughters (child, teenager, adult). It was able to showcase the character’s emotions very well and bring out their charms.

Characters 10/10:

Definitely the highlight of this manga. All three daughters have distinct ... and likable personality. They all feel uniquely charming in physical appearance and personal quicks. The design of the Dad is also very well done by preserving his looks, rather than an old man design (which, in honestly would be, more realistic than literally no change in like 20 years), which would made have massively dock the points from characters and enjoyment.

Enjoyment and Overall:

I believe that how good a manga is should entirely be based on enjoyment. It is one of rarer genres out there, and it has been polished to be extremely enjoyable throughout the entire read. The genre, by itself, is already a huge plus in enjoyment, and the execution was performed well enough to earn it a 10. Only shame that the manga is very short and update seems to be at a snails crawl.

Had a bit of an interesting start and the concept is somewhat interesting, but all of this gets undermined by this weird incestuous relationship the daughters have going on with their dad. Also for some reason the father has to be the world's most perfect man, that every single woman in this world likes and every man envies. Would be just standard wish fulfillment junk, but due to the before mentioned incestuous tones it's a turn off for me. (Also yes the daughters aren't blood related so it's obvious where this is going to go.)

The art does look very good. Characters look sharp and well ... drawn the fights look good as well. The art can be somewhat inconsistent though, especially with the characters.
