This manga isn’t as bad as some people claim, but that also doesn’t mean it’s good by any means. Like the title indicates, it’s pretty generic in all departments, and some of the plot developments seem incredibly convenient, but when is that not a case with these type of stories.
The mc is surprisingly one of the highlights of those manga — though a very thin highlight — as he does act somewhat normally by not being a complete sc*mbag and degenerate who desires to collect slaves to ravage them, etc. Now that I think about it, the standard for a normal mc isn’t really
...
high…
The side characters are a bit forced in becoming heroines, and their are your stereotypical bad guys, but it all isn’t too jarring if you’re used to the trope or just don’t give a crap.
The plot is where this manga sort of fails, though. It’s basically your generic carbon-copy of every other isekai story out there because the mc, despite receiving his power, serving as a premise, doesn’t do anything at all with it.
It’s not bad, but it’s just very unoriginal, so take it how you will.
