I went into this manga with decent expectations. The summary that I had seen before reading included a bad ass main character who outsmarted his enemies through the use of dungeon death traps. The two leads had amazing designs, and the premise of a trap maker working for a demon princess absolutely captured my attention, yet, this manga managed to shatter my expectations in the worst possible way within eight chapters. This manga tries too hard to be edgy, and at the same time throws boatload of "shocking" content at reader. Meaning extreme violence, gore, sexual content, villainous characters that don't have any shred of humanity, and dramatic shouting.
It is similar to "Kaifuku jujutsu" and "Fukushuu wo Koinegau Saikyou Yuusha wa". Except there's no revenge, just a nutty protagonist with an excuse to brutally murder insane antagonists. The art isn't actually bad, but, the game has too many panels where something is thrown, moves rapidly, which creates a mess of "movement lines", and it gets so bad that it is barely possible to understand what is going ...

This review will primarily be focussed on why the ecchi scenes ruin it and will also have a spoiler for a later scene (and if rape makes you uncomfortable skip this review and manga)
The ecchi in this manga is horrendous, it infests and degrades the rest of the experience. The existance of the rampant amount of ecchi brings wih it tone problems, doubt about whether the author is just getting themselves off or not, inconsisent character writing and a host of other problems. The art changes halveway through. At first the art at least was really good despite the story being so mediocre. After the change the manga lost it's "charm".
I would recommend to read until the switch to the worse artstyle. It really is rather nice to look at. The story is nothing special but the cool landscapes and the cute demon king daughter make it worth a quick read. The premise is something about saving the demons but the plot is actually just *unwanted* sex. But what do I care. This is actually incredible. It's an adult seinen fantasy about setting traps! Artwork is great. It's fast paced with zero filler. All the characters are likeable. MC is smart but not overpowered. There's tons of fanservice but without any boring "harem drama" dragging the story down. It's refreshing getting a manga that's absolutely brutal but remains fun throughout the entire series. It's too bad it's only 4 volumes but they do tell a complete story which is great. Really don't have a single negative thing to say about it. Highly recommended to anyone who is tired of boring kid friendly isekai.
