This manga has one of the most relatable protagonists I have seen in an OP fantasy. He’s not an edgelord with a heart of gold, a cynical bastard or a horny idiot.
He’s a broken man who ran away from his problems and wants validation from others, he’s someone who just wants to do good with what he has and he’s someone puts on a mask around others.
Hell, the series starts when he comes down from his isolation on a whim and decides to step out of his box.

I often see it said that this is a manga for incels... it isnt, if you read the summary and think that I can sorta understand after all attractive men are critisized heavily and it says women have all the power in society. But after reading those 2 features arent that forced and is implemented organically and well alongside the plot and characters.
Overall, not for everyone but I for one love this manga and highly suggest it for a read. My biggest critisism with this manga (at least with what I could think up) would be the fact that the antagonist's reverse-harem is made up entirely ... Jul 4, 2020

This review will primarily be focussed on why the ecchi scenes ruin it and will also have a spoiler for a later scene (and if rape makes you uncomfortable skip this review and manga)
The ecchi in this manga is horrendous, it infests and degrades the rest of the experience. The existance of the rampant amount of ecchi brings wih it tone problems, doubt about whether the author is just getting themselves off or not, inconsisent character writing and a host of other problems.
