Both manga's are about how to enact revenge in the worst and most excruciating way possible, if you're into evil people getting what they deserve then this is a good read for you. Not for the faint of heart.

- Similar target audience range. - Same genres. - Both stories have the misanthropic appeal factor. - Same structure in three steps. Introduce, Setup, Payoff.

Similar justice/revenge killing machines.

Bad people get tortured in sadistic ways. Beautiful protagonist. Catholic imagery.

Reading these manga you'll feel the obsession of these main characters to give evil people hiding behind a façade of goodness, the karma they deserve. *Beware of gore and/or nudity, these are NSFW manga! <> Brutal: Murder and violence, Tokyo Neon Scandal: Public humiliation and destroying their social lives

Yokokuhan and Brutal both have protagonists who advocate for vigilante justice and they punish criminals outside of the law. While brutal is more well "brutal" with its punishments yokokuhan is lighter with its punishments. Both protagonists feel something is wrong with society and in their own way try to fix it one criminal at a time.

They are both about a psychopath that murders serial killers in a similar way they have been killing their victims.

The protagonists judge and punish criminals, under their own sense of justice

These two manga are about criminal acts against the weak, and the culprits try to get away with their crimes. These crimes are violent to say the least. The main characters (anonymously) perform vengeance against those implicit criminals and murderers, and not by softly taking them into custody. *Both MCs have a secret double life. *Both are very bloody.

These two manga are about heavy crimes done by people who think they can't be harmed with the exceptional power and influence they have, and a character who either stays behind the scenes or is taking the spotlight with a disguise, to punish these evildoers. *Both of them are not for the faint of heart! Be aware: they are extremely violent. <> Akumetsu: MC is not as sadistic as Brutal's MC. (Both are still about vengeance for the people they committed crimes against)

Both of these series focus heavily on revenge killings and absurd murders, if you enjoyed the violence of either series odds are you will like the other

Both of these series focus on MCs that show sever signs of sociopathy as they use their respective jobs to commit indiscriminate mass killings, both main characters also implied to be extremely smart compared the characters around them so they constantly play cat and mouse games with those pursuing them and those they torture.

Very bloody, they take justice into their own hands.

Both are josei written by women that deal with violence, gore, blood and disturbing storylines.

Even though the main characters aren't in a similar psychological state, the cases they encounter aren't that far apart. <> Detective Conan: elaborate search for the murderer and the crime scene, Brutal: catching the criminals, abduct them and have some face-to-face time with the investigator.
