If you are easily upset, this manga is not for you.

Lets start with the story;
A young gladiator slave escapes from captivity and joins a bandit group. Some time later the bandit group is annihilated by a vampire women, leaving only the MC alive.
He proceeds to learn and train with the vampire, leaving her to explore the world when he turns 18, claiming that he will get his own kingdom.
From there on out, is basically an adventuring manga with a harem collecting subplot.
Although I don't have much experience recognizing and analizing worldbuilding, I dare to say that the author is very good at it.

This next part ... contains spoilers:
The MC joins the personal army of the second prince, which is disguised as a mercenary band, and when the king dies they proceed to take over the country by force, killing the first prince and prime minister in the process. He recieves knighthood and becomes the captain of a squadron.

Art:
The art is not superb, but it is very good.
You feel an early berserk type aura from it.

Characters:
The MC is basically a less tragic and way more horny Guts.
Most girls in his harem are only showed once as one night stands
Other more important and interesting characters apear past chp 16, but they are not good enough to raise the overall character score.

Enjoyment:
I am going to be straightforward, the manga has a lot of sex, and some scenes that are questionable or even wrong by standards of the modern day. But the manga is not set on this day and age, it is set on the dark ages of humanity where a most people were cucoo and had 10yo wives. And although the protagonist does nothing to girls under 14, he does make some comments that are kind of groomy towards a 12yo and a 14yo. (But, keep in mind the setting, and him being only 18 too)
The fights are really great, and the art does a really good job presenting them to us, and even if the story feels bland at times, it is acceptable

I repeat, this manga is NOT FOR THE EASILY SHAKEN, IT CONTAINS A LOT OF SEX, SOME R* SCENES AND SLAUGHTER, THE PROTAGONIST IS NOT A GOODY TWO SHOES AND MOST WOMEN ARE POORLY WRITTEN. IF YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT THAT, THEN BE MY GUEST AND READ

Let me just preface this review with the most pressing concern here: this is a borderline hentai. And I don't mean in the kinda raunchy rom-com way, I mean this has full-on barely censored sex scenes basically every chapter.

The actual plot is sort of interesting in the beginning. It's a kind of Spartacus-like story, where a young fighter breaks out and then gets raised by a vampire in the woods (whom he also has relentless intercourse with naturally) to go into the world and carve out a kingdom for himself.

So, so far so good right? Well, sort of. It becomes very clear early on in ... the manga that this is not really going to something you're gonna read for the story. In the beginning I thought this would sort of like Berserk, with the odd sex scene here and there to kick home a point, but I couldn't really fool myself into that after 8 chapters.

It's a harem collect-a-thon and sometimes an entire half of a chapter will just be sex. The main character is also constantly horny, even making a comment about "harvesting" a small child when she's "ripe". To summarize, the art and premise is super good, but if you're not interested in hentai stay away, because that's very much what this is. The scenario is meant to set the character up as an ideal bad-ass self insert who's gonna get a massive harem and beat everyone in his way; and that kind of wish-fulfilling writing just never works out well in the long run in my experience, hence why I'm going to be dropping it.

Personally, I'm sort of bummed out by this because again, the premise is good and the art is pretty stellar in my opinion. A shame really.

I understand why some teens enjoy this because of sex and gore but the writing and arts is horrendous

I love sex too but never sacrifice writing a good story for the sake of sex

Nearly every chapter we have ecchi shounen level writing where MC want to f every woman he met. What worst is there's no motive or motivation for mc that moving the plot.

The more chapter goes, new places character became Japanese name, the arts is rough, only few character are drawn really well but beside that, they looks like generic design of characters. I stopped reading when I reach chapter 25, there's no ... point to read if same plot is been telling again and again.
