Historical stories about arranged marriages with unusual settings. Both have very detailed costume designs.

Both are wholesome SoL historical manga which are set in rural life: - There's a bride who goes to his groom's hometown and learns their way of life. - They are both quite informative about the old ways of making food and medicine. - There's no drama or annoying plotlines.

Two manga with an abundance of detailed information and knowledge told by the main characters, varying from herbs and plants, illnesses, foods and all sorts of equipment needed to make living as easy as they can. <> SKK:NG is at some times darker than Tenju no Kuni, still both have plenty of calm and relaxing moments.

Khang Zhipa is like Maomao because he is a young, trained doctor and he's also obsessed with herbs. Both take place in China (Tibet is part of China during 1949 when Communism took over the country except for Taiwan but Tenju no Kuni (Blissful Land) took place in Tibet during the 19th century which means Qing Dynasty). The characters and the clothes are well-designed. Both are similar to Otoyomegatari.

Two manga mainly or completely situated in Tibet. The main characters see nature's beauty through their walks, and have medical knowledge that surely is useful in this secluded area. Readers get to learn various aspects of the inhabitants' culture and lifestyle. <> Ruten no Terma is not always as light-hearted as Tenju no Kuni.

Very similar art style and atmosphere, and the worlds resemble each other a lot. Both MCs are very knowledgeable in their respective fields (medicine and cooking), and are calm and kind. The family dynamics are the same: MC, love interest, childish little sister, parents.

One is set on 18th century Tibet, while the other is on Mars in the future, but both offers a comfortable read about the daily life of a hardworking, positive protagonists that remind me of each other. On top of the protagonists' outlooks on life, the art of both series are so detailed, sucking you into the story to appreciate the world of it.
