They are both cute romcoms with same kind of romance. Everyone is lovable and every person genuinely loves their romance partner. The characters in zense coupling have memories from their past and those memories are quite similar to the stories of would you marry me again if you are reborn. Both have plots of reincarnation. 

Hits a lot of the same notes about a couple that is not long for this world 

I feel both of these manga take a similar melancholic but beautiful approach to living and love. Both are also period pieces, and appear to have a lot of care taken in crafting their worlds and especially the clothing pieces. 

Both coming of age-ish kind of story, also it develops more serious undertone as the story goes on.  

Using the story of their memories to tell us the warmth, joyful, and sad things in life with their partner. 

They have a different story but for some reason while reading it, it reminds me of these manga, They're really good and really deserves their ratings. I don't have much to say on it but I think if you have read either of these you should try the other as well. So please give it a try. 

While the premises are quite different, both stories centered around the inseparable, unconditional, and undying love of a husband and wife. Both title also manage to deliver emotional moments perfectly so much so that it can be felt in almost if not every single chapter. 

Both have cutely in love couples, being at a similar level of wholesomeness. While Kaoru Hana develops in highschool, Watashi to Kekkon tells us the passage of the relationship of an old couple. Be warned that Watashi to Kekkon has some more drama in it compared to the pure Kaoru Hana. 

"Will you marry me again if you are reborn?" - a sentence full of life, emotions, and magic. LOVE and LOSS. The two major keywords in both stories. Both 'Umarekawattemo Mata, Watashi to Kekkon shitekuremasu ka' and 'Violet Evergarden' encompass multiple stories of several people into one major frame story - stories about the sadness and beauty of LOVE. Both show that each love story is beautiful in its own way and that there are countless types of love - romantic love, love between parents and children, love between siblings or friends, and even love between two strangers. While 'Violet Evergarden' goes deeper and deals with the question "What is love?", 'Umarekawattemo Mata, Watashi to Kekkon shitekuremasu ka' is more of a slice of life. But be prepared. In both you will see the cruelty and suffering of war. How is it to lead a happy life and then suddenly you find yourself in the midst of a war and must part with your loved ones? Will you ever see them again? Will you ever be able again to convey your feelings and your love to them? In both stories you will show your emotions, you will shed tears. A lot of them. Both in grief and happiness. You will feel bliss and realize: "What a wonderful life." read more
