Both series deals with teens who have such natural physical talent that they can do anything effortlessly better than others. Until the protagonist runs into another person who happens to have a better fighting talent, that gets them interested enough to try it out.

There is quite a strong degree of action and characterization for Teppu and Hajime no Ippo. Both series has a protagonist who gets into a competitive sport that involves plenty of action in the ring. Although their personality aren't similar, they do develop unique relationships with other characters. Their storytelling can also be relatable not just for the main characters but also becomes of their connections with others. Recommended for any fans of sports manga.

I'll state the obvious right here. The works are similar because they feature strong women, martial arts masters with brutal personalities, no clichés here. I would say that Teppuu has a more mature universe, concerning the atmosphere but also the relationships between the different characters (despite the few chapters). Natsuo and Queen are both very talented individuals who are known for their skills.

Both stories are nothing alike, however the main characters attitudes resemble each other i kept thinking of drifters main character while reading teppu and vice versa, their ruthlessness in fights and thrill they get while hurting/killing their opponents

A person with 1% talent and 99% hard work will always lose to a person with 99% talent and 1% hard work. Or will he/ she?

Both are about two people who wish to become stronger. They're both unique and have something to do about fighting and learning how to do so.

Both Teppu and The Boxer portray an unusual reversal of tired combat sports manga tropes: instead of following the journey of a talentless underdog who achieves results through hard work, they turn the formula on its head and make what would be the "last boss" character of such a manga its actual PoV protagonist. And they both find interesting ways to humanize such a protagonist such that it makes them even more nuanced and exciting than your typical "I did this a lot and became good" lead. Similarly, both works focus on character studies more so than the sporting aspects, leaving offscreen everything that doesn't  read more
