Autumn arrived. While it becomes cold and somber outside every day, this marks also the perfect time to get into a reading mood. Don't you think? So why not have a seat in your most comfortable place? Grab a warm blanket, maybe some hot coffee, chocolate or tea and make it yourself as much cozy as you want. Pick up a manga and dive into adventures! The Manga Reading Challenges Club offers a bunch of different challenges for every mood. Just want to challenge yourself to read more manga in general? Do you want to explore a specific genre? Maybe want to discover new artists? Or do you feel like your Completed-list lacks some manhua/manwha/LN/etc.? You might even be brave enough for some really tough collections? Then come on in!
PS: Okay, as I see you are already pro regarding manga. And nice to see some work from Koneda You in your favelist! Lovely style. It feels kind of selfish to put a friend request right under a standard invitation entry, but I really like taste. Though it has been a while since you last logged into MAL, you might come back? Haha, dunno what I am talking about actually, but yeah. Your list picked my interest somehow. ;)
If you don't want this entry in your guestbook, feel free to delete it. I don't intend to annoy you with it by no means, since you seem like you enjoy reading manga! :))
Recommendation... hummm...
Dash! -- This one is cute
1K Apaato No Koi
A to Z
After School Nightmare -- read this one if your looking for something a little more deep.
CUT -- really love this one
I try to limit myself, it just doesn't usually work out... I do the same thing though, trying to finish some of the on going ones, especially the ones I'm almost done with. MAL really helps me to keep track xD And I love Hunter x Hunter ^^ Awesome anime~
I don't really like any... Well, actually, I liked the few episodes of Shugo Chara I watched aaaaages ago :) With the order of the Gundams, I asked :P try here if you want the storyline order.
And you're right, the main character is important. If they're crappy, the show is probably going to be crappy too...
Don't worry about taking a long time~
But Vietnam, that's cool~! ^o^
You want to see some ^_-? Renji, Byakuya, Hitsugaya, and Other Guys~
LoL, I don't know that that's what it's all going to be about, there's only been a few episodes, but I'm glad they're back too :3
I try to limit the animes I have going, but I get distracted so easily ^^" and it helps that I have a real knack for remembering plot lines and stuff. I have my max limit right around 40-50 at once ><"" I'm very easily sidetracked...
I can rarely do Magical Girl anime, though there are a few select shojos that I liked xD not many though... I also try to watch the popular shows, even if I don't really like them, just so that I could have an opinion. I feel like I've had to watch it to talk about it :P i loooove music, and I have been watching some of the gundams xD I'm trying to watch them in storyline chronological order ^^
I just have to like the story and characters too. I mean, I don't even have any real guidelines for it and I'm not consistent with it xD it's just I like it or I don't. I mean, I usually like the gothic style ones, or the ones with complex stories, but still not even all of those :3 I'll try anything, I'm just picky with what I end up liking is all~
Me too, but I was just so surprised at his young self's hotness level. I think Tatsuki does though, and they'd make such a better couple than Ichigo x Orihime ><
He did die, and Sebastian found some kind of "cure" to bring him back. It was kinda lame, yes, but I'm so glad their back I'm finding it a little hard to be annoyed >>
O.o that's so odd, I just recently did the same thing xDD I watched all of Dragon Ball and half of Dragon Ball z, I've watched over half of Yu Yu Hakusho, but I haven't made it to Sailor Moon yet. I call it "Watching the Classics" it's pretty fun, if a little painful sometimes :)
I don't really have a specific preference, I'll try almost anything. It needs to have a story though, I can't do the random episodes all the time too well ^^ I do love fantasy though. And action and romance. If it has those three, plus a nice story and a nice art style, I will most likely love it :3
What about you? Any particular preference?
Young Zangetsu alone was really drool-worthy xD then plus Hichigo and I can barely stand the wait for the next chapter with them >< Have you read the newest chapter? It pretty much covers the Rangiku/Gin deal >>"
Pandora Hearts is worth it :) (and very pretty too ^^) and I know what you mean. I really don't like them either, but as long as there's a manga I can continue so it's not really the "end" then I'm usually okay. Warning though: Pandora Hearts actually does mostly have an ending, but it's a little rushed...
Oh! Can I help you pull out his eye? Pweez? ^o^ I totally called it being Sebastian with the knock on the door though, and Ciel being in the suitcase :3
Thank god for that~! At least they do draw him in different boxers each time though :P so far (I've only got about 18-19 episodes) my favorite characters are Gokudera and Dino ^^ They're so funny~! Yamamoto is cool too though :)
Pandora Hearts reminds me a lot of Kuroshitsuji, but a little more complicated plot-wise. The 07-Ghost ending wasn't really bad, just one of those non-endings you find all the time in anime. Kinda "Okay guys, we're doing this!! [end of anime]"
OMG, me too!! I sat there going really? Was that really necessary? So there was no better way to show that he's psychotic? He has no depth to his character, so for now a brat is all he'll be >:( Remember Claude's tap dance? That's when I started liking Claude okay. I still loved it when he got owned by Sebastian though ^_- Sebastian is still more awesome *nods*
Honestly, the thing that gets on my nerves the most in Reborn is how he has to lose his clothes every time he gets his dying will >> it just bugs me to no end. I don't mind too much the spaced out little stories, I just can't get around having such a lame main character... I know, I've heard he gets better later, but for now it's just sad xDD
My favorite gothic style ones are Kuroshitsuji, Pandora Hearts, D.Gray-man, and 07-Ghost, soooo good ^o^
Alois reallly gets on my nerves. He has no real character to him. I mean, he's psychotic and impulsive: so what? That's all there is to him so far >> (not to mention he didn't even show up in the second episode xDD)
I've already taken a break from Reborn ^^" honestly, I'm not that into it yet, but everyone says it's so good that I'm really trying... I keep getting distracted though :/
Ah, I love the gothic style of manga and large casts xD Though I do object to saying their personalities are too similar, I won't really go into that :3
I'm starting to watch Reborn >< I'm on episode like 19... soooo far to go xD
I prefer the anime (it is easier to follow) but I also read the manga. I started with the anime, and loved it, and now I just read the manga to keep up with the story. I don't know that I ever had a particularly hard time following it though, anime or manga :3 I would suggest watching the anime in any case ^^
I started watching it because my sister wanted me to ^^ and I disagree, I know a lot of not so good shonen jump... but wait, you don't like D.Gray-man?!? o.o
