This is another isekai where the mc is reincarnated as a being that is not human. The story feels very similar to 'Kumo desu ga, Nani ka?'. Where the MC's are both protagonists that were originally human, but were reborn as a monster. They both have an ability to speak with god. The world is shaped like a video game and they both strive to level up to understand the reason for them being sent to their new world. Not to mention they both have a appraisal skill that works the same way. All in all this feels like a copy of previous mentioned manga, ... they are both enjoyable to binge read and I hope this manga does not get a anime adaptation cause I feel like this would turn out the same way as 'Kumo desu ga, Nani ka?'. If this does get an adaption then I feel like the story needs to be more flushed out and if so, it will diverge heavily from the manga in my opinion.

Story (6)
Its feels like Mirai Nikki in the sense that they are trying to see who the the strongest as there are candidates chosen by god to figure out who shall replace them. In this story though I think it's to see who will become the next demon lord. The story is really bland as far as I have read, however it makes sense as we are following the MC and we are discovering about it with them. I have hope for it to at some point become better.

The visuals of this seem different than most manga I have read, as it reminds me of Digimon well some of the monsters and MC at best.

Character (6)
The MC is vary attached to his past life and I'm surprised that they did not go down the same route as Kumoko. They both make jokes about their situation and their morality of certain choices are pretty similar at times. However, in this case the MC can seem pretty naive at certain moments.

Enjoyment (8)
Even though this may have it's flaws, it still holds up to be a manga that I will unwaveringly will continue reading.

This manga is full of ups and downs when it comes to the relative amount of enjoyment. At times, I see this as one of the best isekai mangas to ever exist, but at others, it’s nothing more than a mind-numbing read. Though, I’ll give the flowers where flowers are due, as this has one of the best developments, in plot or character, in any isekai manga, but it also possesses a horrendous amount of unnecessary details that diminishes any form of enjoyment.

The development of the characters or plot may come off cliche or annoying at first glance, but it’s done rather nicely to ... compliment the story while taking its time. However, if I do have a gripe, it seems that characters are virtually forgotten about once their arc is done and over with with minor mentions here and there, which is quite disappointing and a waste of what the work the author had previously put in. The plot is also full of unique struggles with a hint of mystery, as this is one of the few reincarnation, isekai mangas that the mc doesn’t get spoon fed skills, or experience without much challenge; though, his power-ups seem to appear at “the absolute last moment.”

Now, time to get in the massive negative about this manga: the overwhelming amount of information that needs to be processed in each panel. I know the manga is currently consuming ~5 LN/WN chapters per manga chapter, but the amount of dialog that gets exchanged in a singular panel can sum to half of a novel’s page worth of words, which is ridiculous. That may be a hyperbole, but I can’t count the amount of times where I just mindlessly scrolled passed the dialog as I didn’t care enough to read all of the stats or conversations, which really ruined the immersion of the manga.

This could’ve possibly became the best isekai/reincarnation manga out there, but with how incredibly condensed this manga was made, it ruined most of the potential enjoyment. However, it’s still one of the better isekais to read purely from its ability to develop characters and plot.

This manga’s premise was very interesting and engaging in the initial chapters with the main character being reincarnated as a dragon instead of a human. However after you read past the first couple of chapters it follows the same repeating sequences over and over without any variation which involves boring fights straight out of a rpg game. Also has overly detailed status bars which take over a majority of the pages which makes the panels feel overcrowded. It takes you out of the flow of story. However redeeming qualities of the manga would be the character interactions. If you like cute moments this might be ... for you however outside of that it’s quite lacking for a fantasy story.,
