In my opinion I think this manga is underrated if you compare Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san. Though it can't relate about real life (school life) but story have more intense.
A young duke and maid love each other so everyone can't touch him because of cursed by a witch as a child. First thing, this plot get my money and then story try to expand the issue as well.
Disadvantage is dialogue that isn't interest like takagi-san. I feel this manga force a little.
Art is good but sometimes I fear alice eyeballs
Overall I recommend and anime adaptation will come up soon. (3D not bad for me)

This manga is a simple slice of life interaction between a young Duke and his beautiful maid Alice who live secluded in a wood. The boy is cursed by a witch so anything he touches will wither and die. Both of them are in love with each other but because of the curse, they can't touch each other so the maid decides to sexually teases the boy instead.
The manga is mostly cute fluffy interaction between these two characters with the rare occasional appearances of other side characters so don't expect any proper story. The two leads have good personality and nice chemistry so watching ...

I took a liking on this show since the very beginning. The art style was kinda unique and I realy liked the character design.
The issue was that this work was stated as a romantic tragedy before serialization. I just prefer to don't read those until they're completed. So I bootmarked it but didn't read it after until now which is around 3 years later. A few days ago I went through all the old anime/manga I was interrested in and stumbled on this on. STORY:
The story is about a duke that is cursed by a witch to kill everything he touches and his daily life with his servants on a secluded estate. These servants love him a lot despite the curse. And the story progresses to meeting new friends and enemies as they try to remove the curse. It's like a slice of life but with gothic/morbid undertones. And despite that, it is a manga that is quite safe for young readers. That to me is one hidden gem, considering the amount of adult stuff put in anime/manga nowadays. Shinigami Bocchan to Kuro Maid is an extremely heart-warming manga, with a lot of comedy. It has a slow but enjoyable pace, very simple and relaxing (at least until now).
It's the story of a Duke that lives secluded because everything he touches dies, and his maid Alice. They both love each other, but can never touch. The innocence of the duke and of their activities and feelings for each other contrasts with the sadness of the curse that makes their love almost forbidden. ok so simply one of the best things i have ever read. seriously, I read it 2 times while it was still being released and now I finally read it in full, and like, I was already looking forward to it because it was already one of my favorite mangas, but it was simply even better than I expected!!
there were several things that came out of the classic clichés, for example the duke not being that badass protagonist etc, which only made me love him even more. sure, he had his moments, but man, him being just a "normal" human being made things even better, ...

Shinigami Bocchan was my introduction to romcoms.
It's a fun to read series with cute and enjoyable interactions between characters. The plot which is focused at the second half of the series was good.The way the plot was resolved felt kinda meh though,but it wasnt terrible ,I guess.The last chapter did its job ,but it felt really rushed and kinda underwhelming. It's like Tim Burton made a Slice of Life Manga. The unnamed Duke was cursed as a child, so everything he touches dies. Because of this he lives isolated in a Mansion with only his eldery Butler Rob and his maid Alice as company.

It has a very unique plot and characters that are easy to invest in, however, it does not focus on the plot but keeps adding relationships. Other than the main couple I don't understand why a lot of the other couples even exist, they make no addition to the plot. Also, so many things are set in ancient times but there was a scene with a phone. When I started reading this, I thought it was a stupid fanservicy manga with a vaguely interesting aesthetic. Thankfully, despite the main girl constantly pulling her skirt up or revealing her cleavage, the main relationship somehow still came across as cute and wholesome.
The further in you get, the more this lovely gothic world opens up and shows a wonderful and fun cast of characters with cute, feel-good friendships as well as gushy romances. so this manga is cool. i really like the concept around it. my only gripe is the ending of it which gets really really confusing. but for a romance/slice of life manga. the duke of death and his maid is good. it is somewhat suggestive but i think that the suggestiveness works in the mangas favor as over each chapter the characters have growth and somewhat mature. so yeah. this manga gets a 8 out of 10 as why not. whos gonna care.
