Melodrama about a young protagonist and about having only a limited time left being alive - and how to the remains of it.  

This two series are an emotional rollercoaster people can relate to. Both deal in the matter of appreciating life and loved ones. Both have the same premise of the character with limited lifespan and how they take it upon themselves to use it as well as possible. It's short but sad. An easy read material with light drama to take on 

These two mangas show the story of two people who spend their time together knowing that there is a fated end to their relationship 

Both are short and will make you cry in the ending 

Tokidoki and I want to eat your Pancreas have very identical plots. These two mangas show the character development between two people who know that their relationship will inevitably end soon. Hence, they try to spend as much time with each other as possible. 

It’s by the same author and mangaka and goes into a very similar direction. Emotions play a big role in both titles as well as the topic of „growing up“.  

- Both stories are centered in the idea of change by an unexpected encounter. - Both are coming-of-age stories that deal with misfortune, grief, emotional growth, and understanding. - Both stories are bittersweet. - Both stories are character and emotionally driven with great emphasis on dialogue and internal monologue. - Main characters are view as the complete opposite of each other (reserved and outgoing) - A lie was told.
