So it was the drums. I know Japanese Drums can cut through crowd noise, but it still seems a bit implausible that all 9 players could make out the changes in tempo clearly.

And Mihara is a money slut. Somehow I get the feeling that, when this show is over, Tokuchi is going to own the team.

Would have been more interesting to deal with I think but yeah the drums. But how is that guy able to see the signs from there.

There's something else going on.

He really is. His greedy ass. Oh well. Just like the narrator said, he's toua's dog now. At least he'll be way more useful >.>

Oh and good job everyone figuring out it was the drums. I had no clue how they were cheating lol

I was starting to suspect ear pieces and transmissions, but the drum signal is brilliant. I even went back to the past episode and other scenes where the signs were stolen and the drum's tempo changed every time. Tokuchi is simply a bad ass, throwing that money down for the manager. Fat Lips is annoying but now Toua has a good leash on him.

Rofl'd at Tokuchi holding the manager with the chain.
The long part about persuading him to bunting was unnessecary.

They should just change the signal's meaning every game . . . Or have a fan "accidentally" break the drum.

So it was the drums, I agree, how do they all notice the tempo change? sometimes when people concentrate on stuff they don't notice noise in the background.

Also how can the drummer even see the signals? I thought he'd be too far away to even see them properly.

He does have really Fat Lips lol. He just needed a cash incentive. Loved the picture of Toua at the end with the chain, was hot lol <3

Not sure how the drum player can see all the signals, maybe some sort of binoculars or communication through ear pieces.
Now it's time to get back some points vs those sneaky cheaters :)

Yay, it was the drums XD
That was an awesome episode again.
So, they will just take advantage of their cheating. Guess the try-to-expose-their-fake-ball strategy will have to be used on the 3rd game right?
Wonder if they can beat them with just that though.

It was a bit predictable how Toua would blackmail the manager. Anybody was curious to why he made a win-win deal for the manager? I mean, he always makes his beats in order for him to win some. But well, I guess he just wanted his plans to not be interrupted by the manager.

Considering how easy it was to realize what the signal is, that explanation was painfully long... at least the manager was funny again. I also wonder why Tokuchi carries wads of cash around like that. Probably all part of his plan :P

My first guess is the vendor of beer haha But after hearing more explanation of Tokuchi, it's the drum!
Tokuchi have so many money!! Did he already get his salary then? or from his gambling before? Why he needs more money if he have so much? Hmmm.. or he just love the thrill of gambling?

With the drum's beats being the most notable sound that can be heard throughout the stadium, it should've been more noticeable for the others but the pressure of winning the game must've prevented them from thinking out of the box. It was very entertaining to see Toua reveal the secret behind the stolen signs and I'm very excited to see them smash that dirty tactic into the ground and eventually see them bring out another one for them to crush.

Shame on you, Mihara. Once a dog for money, always a dog for money. I can't really blame him for giving in in front of that many cash though. It was really funny seeing him make the bunt gestures though lmao

Fat Lips bruhhhh. Honestly though, everyone works for money. Can't blame him.

And now that Toua has figured out the shady signs, he is using it against them. I guess this match will end in the next episode.
