| Japanese movie company Stargate announced today that the gag manga "Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou" (Daily Lives of High School Boys), by Yamauchi Yasunobu, will get a live action movie adaptation to be released this fall on October 12th. The movie will be directed by Daigo Matsui. The trio cast of the main characters will be played by Masaki Suda (as Tadakuni), Shuhei Nomura (as Yoshitake) and Ryo Yoshizawa (as Hidenori). The story will revolve around a cultural festival that the boys' high school organizes together with a girls' high school nearby. The manga is finished and has 7 volumes altogether. The total circulation is over 2.2 million. It was adapted into an anime earlier in January 2012. Source: Eiga.com |

| Didn't expect this to actually happen. If you remember, at the end of the anime, something like this is mentioned, but I thought (and I bet everyone else did) that it was just a joke. I don't know how to react to this, maybe this could be a sign of an incoming new season? Even though the manga was stopped... |

| OH NO Well, to be honest, not ALL live action movies I've seen are terrible, so there could be hope. However much of the comedy in these type of anime usually comes from character interaction. Since anime is just drawn, it's easy to make characters move and look exactly like you want them to. But actors might not be as good. Whether they'll acomplish the same thing in the movie or not... we'll have to wait and see. |

| they should have worked on copying the exact looks (talking about the hair color (their hair colors range from black, brown and blonde only, hairstyle,which are actually simple and clothing) of the boys >.< i dont know what to say, but definitely that anime is funnier, and im hoping, like every body else, for a second season! |
