THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- That was nice. I like the b/w sketch like animation. The music matched everything as well. |

Studio ADTRW has made a 'fansub' of it, you should be able to find it here: http://www.adtrw.org/projects/ Another nice work by Makoto Shinkai. He always makes me feel emotional when I watch his artworks. Also loved the music in here. <3 |

It was okay. I was impressed that Shinkai Makoto was able to convey all that he did in 90 seconds, but it just wasn't enough time to build up the characters. As the characters were very flat, I just didn't really care about their relationship issues because there was nothing to make them seem real (or at least, reflections of real people). |

Valmy said: Oh my, I was looking for this theme and didn't take me long at all. XD Using Erik Satie's "Gymnopédies" is always a good choice. Can anyone translate the few sentences? :p One of the better best animated shorts I've seen in a while. A unique experience. |

So I think this animation was about how love is so hard to define. Wait, isn't it a topic too difficult to cover in just two minutes? (need to stop memorizing quotes from Woody Allen movies btw) |

I like a few of the sentences used.. the length was way too short though. |

"But there is something that I can't accept. That someday you will find youre true other half." This sentence elicits associations of forbidden or at least restricted love. The speaker is aware of the limitations of their relationship but hasn't reached the phase when he can bear it to let his lover go. Overall this short ONA really emphasizes the ephemeral nature of love. |

Simple and captivating. 7/10 Loved the music. Going to pirate it now. Classical music is the best. kelpso said: 'But there is something that I can't accept. That someday you will find your true other half.' This part actually almost made me cry. I agree. ;_; |

Good short stuff. How many times I hear this classic song? First was haruhi the movie, second was MOD, and now third was this one. Still good song, but wow it is still great that it almost make a hit out of it. I wish the characters actually speak that will make it better. 7/10 |

Do you want to fly through the sky? So painful? Do you go with me? This world is beautiful, isn't it? But I can't accept it. ("it" clearly means "world", not that he'll leave her someday) Someday you'll find your true other half Before it will happen, I'll be always with you |

Never ever could I have imagined the music is from this. Half of the thing just feels like the boards, which isn't surprising considering his boards are quite detailed. Either way, some experimental stuff although nothing about it appeals to me in any way. |

This is an amazing and beautiful love story! The musick, the visuals, and the story all worked in unison. It really spoke to me and touched me. It's even more amazing considering that it isn't even two minutes! Amazing work! |
