| Nice episode, quite restful in the first part and with a lot of action in the second. The actions scenes were really breathtaking but I found that the CGI wasn't well integrated. All the sets were really colorful. Also I have the bad feeling of being pushed in a universe without much more of explanation. |

| Nice underwater scenes and with Mao too! She really swims like a fish. :) I like the way before and during the underwater battle, Shin put to good use of adapting tactics on what he learned by simple observation of nature, i.e. the behavior of the flying fish and the octopus. The scene where a single shell/bullet struck the reactive armor at an angle and then the whole armor plate ejected was cool! XD I don't know why myself but five seconds after that same plate armor was shed and the rest of entire reactive armor was gone as well, I was less interested. :P |

| 5/5 Big mess! Narrative full of bullets and unexpected, that whirlwind of feelings and action. By a strong plot that accelerated history, interesting finish. Macross but it is music, so I want more! * _ * Now you I like the series, as a technique of animation and still poor compared to today's levels as CG, but the animations are fluid and remains almost breathless throughout the clash. This time the story I was totally involved! : D |

| Great episode with awesome fighting choreography, more character relationships and evolving mystery. I wonder who was that alien-looking personality briefly shown on TV. And I have a feeling that the giant eye was awakened by Sara's singing. It also seems like she saw Mao and Shin "kiss" through that eye o_o Was Mao injured enough to carry out an "operation" with blood? Wasn't she just shocked? Hmmm. Blood-taking scenes really gave me chills >_< This episode's ED is performed by Mao's seiyuu, btw. UPD: the "alien on TV" is Arjuna (from another show by Kawamori) By the way, Edgar has the same last name as Claudia lol. Relatives or coincidence? |

| I think insensitivity is a running theme in Macross Zero. Also, that television program was in Thai. So I guess Mayan Island is somewhere in an island in Southeast Asia. I was thinking that, but I wasn't sure if it was ever actually stated. Also, there we go. Now everything is on fire. |
