| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Sei turned into my favourite character. she was such a badass. Damn this show. The talking statue was...freaky. And they finally learned to do what Nishi knew from the first fight...Why didn't the MF bother telling everyone? bastard. lol@green alien with glasses. 8 points. EIGHT POINTS?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! HE TOOK OUT THE BIG ONES BY HIMSELF! I can' believe the little robots were worth mroe than these guys. I figured most people would get enough points to graduate in one test. |

| Sei was totally owning it initially, then she began to talk about winning and that's when she died. Futile words! >_< I was screaming: "NOOOOOOO CUT THE FUCKING COUNTDOWN TIMER ALREADY!!!" when Kato was pierced in the heart. T_T Kurono is totally on the way to becoming like Nishi now. 8 points for betting you life and everyone you (almost) cared about?... | Kato died because the made the same mistake they made all the time: Thinking it's over. It's not over before the transport back starts. Better yet, it's not over before you are actually back in the room, who knows what the exact criteria for Gantz to call it a day are (like "all aliens dead for sure", vs "all aliens left will die even without the team" - and boom, someone dies while being half transfered, being killed in a fashion similar to Kato, an alien that will inevitably die, but is not dead) So don't talk about winning, don't let your guard down, don't stop attacking, on the off chance that the alien is dead instead of standing around idly like they do all the time. Not sure if Kurono learned that lesson, given that he didn't see how Kato died at least, not sure about Seis. |
| I don't know what to say about this episode, everyone dies except for Kurono who worked his ass off and only gets 8 points. We still don't know why this is happening and what will happen if Kurono ever gets to 100 points. I'd say that this anime tries to be realistic and so the main characters end up dying like that, instead of some animes that when the villian is about to kill the main character he starts talking about his evil plans and loses his chance to kill. |
| The thing that irritated me the most was how easily the sniper guy got killed in the anime. He was a total badass in the manga where he hid himself inside the corpses of one of the giants, trying to backstab the golden statue and putting him in a headlock. Unfortunately he then got killed by those damn lasers... |

| This was the hardest episode to watch in the entire show so far. Poor Sniper Dude. :[ He had a great chance. Everyone's dead now... This sucks. And I'm assuming that each match has a maximum 100 points. Each distributed accordingly to each enemy. Or maybe killing one means 3 points. Or maybe it depends on the difficulty of the mission and the amount of enemies. Remember the first mission? That was a pretty easy one. |

| Their sliced up bodies remind me of meat or ham in Anime. I'm hungry. If you look at how ham or other types of meat are drawn or portrayed in Anime, it's no different from their own sliced up flesh. The Lara Croft rip-off, Sei did pretty well. She burnt half of that buddha statue but I LOL'd when the Buddha looked at Kurono and was like, "meh, I'll leave this horny bitch to die alone." They killed my KATOU! D: I know he was a crying, SJW/white knight, hesitant motherfucker but I still loved him. Now only the horny bitch Kurono is left. |

Nevermind all the other crazy shit that went down in this episode, like a never-ending slew of "bosses" that they decide to just pull out of their asses, but EIGHT points? How the fuck did he get 30+ that one time and only got 8 for this?? Dumbest fucking thing in this entire anime so far..... ....ok, and now I've said it.
