Anyways, good episode imo. I can't believe Morgania got blown away like that like she was almost nothing. Nice to see Judal back. I missed him:  Seems like Kassim is his new djinn. | Yay, my Judal returned. I missed him! :D Fight was a little slow. Like Shih above said, there were too many pauses between the fights. Still an interesting episode though. Hopefully, considering what is to come, it will get a whole lot more interesting next week. c: |

| I probably wont watch the anime until the next arc. Alibaba obsession with Kassim is damn annoying. I just know the next arc is funny as hell. I hope we dont get an original ending. |
| Thanks, solazora and bonifide, at least you guys got my hopes up for next arc. After watching this episode, I was thinking "golden time anime really isn't my thing. I might as well just read the manga." Well, I guess that I'll continue for now. But still, I think this episode has the worst battle scene so far. bonifide said: Can't agree more. I was hoping Morgiana would say something like "Alibaba-san, that's not Kassim anymore. Just kill that monster." Maybe the author is trying to give us the feeling of "killing someone like your family member is hard."Alibaba obsession with Kassim is damn annoying. |

But I will say that so long as A-1 stays true to the manga for at least the majority of the TV series, then for the most part the anime shouldn't be a disappointment. Trust me though, the next arc will be so worth the wait. c: |

| This whole Rukh and Magoi system makes no sense at all, I really hope they explain it later on other than good episode, sad to see Kassim succumb to the dark Rukh and Alibaba having to deal with it. I wonder who that green hair dude is that he knows so much about Magi yet he's not one himself. |

| Loved the episode, it had too many pauses, but still was good. Judal and Aladdins comeback was nice, and Sinbad is finally close to recovering his vessels, I wanna see him fight... |

| Filling up a chunk of the first page with complaints of slow subbing. One day late isn't even that bad, guys. =/ Not a bad episode at all. Good to see Aladdin back in action. :) |

| Hurray! Aladdin is back! I like how he isn't overconfident about his powers, and even says he'll need Alibaba's help. I agree that there were a lot of pauses in this episode, I feel that the animators at A-1 are a little lazy sometimes...aside from that, it's still a good episode. I'm also glad that the citizens are finally getting back their senses . |
| Not a bad episode IMO. The Black Djinn is a beast and the characters sure are strong, being send flying and crash into a wall and yet still okay. |

| Judal is your typical shounen villain with all talk and always getting the bad beating. Here is a small list containing different versions of Judal for you: Judal ver.0.9 Judal ver.2.1 Judal ver.2.4 I am sure there are plenty more out there. so the list may go on and on and on. I am surprised that he has quite a lot of fan for being such a cliched shounen villain. I hope he proves me wrong and becomes something worth than what he seems at this moment. Overall, the episode was very enjoyable. Definitely worth continuing even though my gut feels it will end up as those long running never ending shounen with nothing of significant value achieved after 3 digits of episodes. |

| yay, judal is back! that makes me happy :D but besides that i still think that whole magoi and rukh stuff is a bit confusing. i don't know if i didn't pay enough attention or if they just rushed through it. either way i guess i'll lhave to look it up today and try to make some sense of it. (and i know that magi is a shonen anime, but it's still a bummer for me everytime to see that the main characters suddenly (and often mysteriously) become stronger and that they can more or less easily defeat the enemy who's supposed to be oh so powerful. as i said - i shouldn't complain about it because it's typical, but i would still like to see a popular anime without that typical story line. magi is still a good anime though.) |

| I gotta say, out of the whole Balbadd arc, or possibly the whole anime so far, they adapted this part by far the poorest. It was really exciting in the manga, my favourite part, but I didn't get anything like the same feel when watching the episode. Don't really have much of a problem with the anime like a lot of the other manga readers do, but this was pretty poor. |

| Loving this anime, I almost got goosebumps when Aladdin quietly appeared flying on the golden bird. Although this episode was a bit too slow for me, too much stopping and starting in the fight, as others have said. Also Alibaba's obsession with Kassim is annoying me too, especially after everything Kassim has done to him, but I guess that's part of his good nature I suppose. Now hurry up ep 17! >.< I should start reading the manga too :P |

The dude is causing all this pain and suffering and you hesitate to kill him after all he's done to you. Come on. Nothing but dragged out BS. Hope they get passed this soon. |

| FUCK IS IT NEXT WEEK YET? I WANT EPISODE 17 NOW Agh, frustration and impatience aside, this episode felt so short. It was good, although I kind of foresaw a lot of scenes like Aladdin making a flashy entrance to "save the day" and boost Alibaba's confidence. (This is a shonen anime series, after all.) I look forward to next week's episode, though, even if the plot is veering more and more towards shonen cliches. I also can't wait to see the Kou Empire and get introduced to that kid with the spear. |
| WOW. wow. WOW. THIS EPISODE WAS AWFUL. It was shit, bad, trash. Not because of the content but because of the production. That quality. That animation. As expected of A-1. You guys did it again. This is so ridiculous. I was crying while watching this episode because of the bad animation. Sigh. I wish I can mail A-1... if they don't want to work seriously then just stop working for good. Seriously. So bad. |
| I'm honestly getting a bit bored of Magi. I think it may be stemming from the slow-ish pacing, or just the fact that I don't particularly care for any of the characters. I hope this arc is over soon. And as someone pointed out earlier in this thread, Judal is seriously like another version of Envy! They're almost identical in personality and behaviour. I bet Judal will have a sad backstory too. |

That epic music started, the camera started going upwards.. The same goes with Jamil, he was one great villain in the manga, but "No!, let's ruin yet another character, he doesn't have anything to do with the overall plot therefore no need to foreshadow him, we have 115 chapters we need to make them fit in 25 episodes!" | Yeah, I was trying to be more open minded to this anime adaption, but this episode was the last straw. The only thing to hope for is a remake. |
