That's all? Snif snif
I need more! This episode was the least interesting, but it's nice to see normal people and the monster girl is scary.

I hope this short episodes will eventually lead to a TV series!!

Three episodes and I still don't know what the bloody hell is this series about.

Though this episode was interesting. The question of what is useless and what isn't is quite subjective.

Anyway, this show is so short. It deserved to be longer.

It was nice and all, but I really wish they would explain more about the world or even more about why the stuff was flying to the station...

All the useless things become useful to Yase Douji.

If she meant the story, then nope, didn't understand it. I liked her character design though.

I was thinking that all useless stuff get disposed of by floating to the station unless they're wanted by someone.
http://oi48.tinypic.com/nxmcdx.jpg
The little girl prioritized herself over her doll when given the choice, and that decision caused the doll to be unwanted by comparison.
http://oi48.tinypic.com/2j1petl.jpg
However, if all the stuff that was deemed useful were left untouched, why did the teacup float away when that demon mad hatter woman still had use for it?
http://oi46.tinypic.com/u7hz.jpg
I guess it depends on the person disposing of it, as it doesn't differentiate between owners. Her lackey that was releasing all the utensils didn't see any use for them and let them go.
http://oi50.tinypic.com/2mee4hs.jpg
They're perhaps trying to draw a contrast between the ability to destroy objects like the television at the start which allows for the world to automatically repair it, and the ability to dispose of any unwanted objects just by thinking about it.
This may show that trinkets and belongings, have purpose just by being wanted, and the human nature of "One man's trash is another man's treasure." or that "People only notice what's missing when its gone.".
Either that or the plot is just what someone thought of while really high and saw a world where Alice in Wonderland mixed with traditional Japan would be a good fit.
I really don't understand their intentions with such a plot but I'm loving it all the same.

Visually they've been interesting, but I've been unimpressed with what has come before. This episode, however...impressed me.

I don't mind this being episodic since I still found it pretty enjoyable. Would like for them to get back to the main point of this series though. Thanks for clearing the theme behind this episode. When it comes to this anime, I almost always have to read some kind of review since it can be a bit unclear what's going on.

Maybe we're not thinking hard enough; maybe we're thinking too hard. Whichever it is, I don't give a fuck because I'm still enjoying it.

I'm starting to think this has no story. These ONAs are basically just letting us see the world and all of these abstract ideas. I like it so whatever.
Hopefully we get an actual story later on with a movie or something. The OVA was close, but it didn't explain everything.

I liked the idea of using a camera perspective for this episode, it gave it a somewhat abstract feel.

Also, Yase is pretty scary O.O

The story was a bit too abstract, but I agree with most interpretations already commented.

Pretty much this.
Note that it's mentioned that useless stuff flies away every year, so it could be a reference to Japan's big annual cleaning period at the end of the year.

I realy liked this episode's perspective and artwork. The background music also helped in giving the whole an abstract yet somehow relaxing feeling.
Shouko shooting the doll was awesome.
(Yase's teacup, lmao. At least the servants managed to rescue it.)

By the way, did someone notice the mafiosi gang pulling that ridiculously long ladder out of the smaller car? It was a nice comedic detail, in my opinion.
