| This arc better go fast 'cause the best part of the story is about to come and we're already halfway into the series. There had better be NO MORE FILLERS! Kyoko hugging that pillow is too cute. |

I think it's more a sign of a good adaptation that feels like a proper TV show, rather than play out like an animated manga, which is what the vast majority of anime series are these days. |

| Could her parents be anymore obvious that they want Kyoko to stay with them lol OMG Godai's declaration sure was something! I still can't believe Kyoko's parents didn't connect the dots ( ...or did they?...) And Kyoko... STILL?! How are you not ready yet?! Also, Mr.Ichinose's love story was quite unexpected. He was interested with someone else but ended up with now Mrs.Ichinose because of her proposal...and the power of sake lol |
| After the previous awful episode, now we're getting one of the best ones. It was practically perfect. Godai dressed all smart and we got an awkward mix of a confession and miai. I was expecting the father to say something like "she sounds like she has a lot in common with our Kyouko", which would escalate the tension even higher. I wonder if they figured out what Godai meant and just played dumb, or were they really oblivious. Next episode, looks like the annoying trio is gonna torment Mitaka for a change. | Yes!! I'm so happy Godai finaly had the nerves to admit it, i was pausing it when he was about to say it, i couden't handle the excitement :D Now that i've seen 50% of this anime, i can safely say that i really love Maison Ikkoku this anime makes me feel things no other anime has before. |

| That's really neat declaration of love from Godai. I'm pretty sure Kyoko and her parents know that he is referring to Kyoko herself. Godai sure knows how to act in front of her parents. |

| Mr. Ichinose (Kentaro's dad, Hanae's husband) seems like a cool dude, his backstory was stupid but at least it gave Godai some motivation to make some progress with Kyouko. There are very few secondary characters in this show who are even remotely likable. Still this was a very good episode. |

| That was a dull and almost wasteful episode if it weren't for Hanae's husband basically telling Yuusaku to stop chasing after illusions and make things happen. Next episode, Shun and Dogs, I hope it's good. |
