| Saeki's a nice guy. That seemed like one of the less serious matches (Ippo doesn't look like he's on the verge of death or anything). Hope Saeki shows up again some time. Love that he's wearing the trucks and shoes. I think they really suit him, and they're a nice color too. Oh and a quick comment, was the ref allowed to catch Saeki? Doesn't that interfere with his down, or...? But there was another match where someone leaned on the ropes and another on the ref, but they were still counting the down. Hmm. Seems like I need to touch up on the rules a bit. |

| Ippo was getting thrashed mercilessly while his barrages got left hitting the wind one after another to the point of leaving him open enough to create a deadly blind spot but he didn't hit the floor even once throughout the fight! He actually used his hopelessly shut eye and Saeki's masterful rhythm to his advantage in order to get a hit in and everything started to go uphill from there. I guess that the fastest man who almost never get hit got way more than he bargained for even if this was exactly what he was looking for~ |

| It was a good fight and interesting too! I think that it was nice to see Ippo out of his element and watch him cope with his situation. I also like that the previous episodes' circumstances meant that he couldn't just brute force his way through the situation. I thought that the use of the blind spot was quite clever and how they even talked about the rhythm as a clue in for the audience. I was sure that they were going to milk this fight out for a little longer, but I think it was better on the shorter end. |

| so in the end that rhythm was saeki's blind point. first time ippo doesn't win just because determination but good tactic. umezawa is good and all, but not after part takamura style? |

| Yeah to no ones surprise Ippo wins again despite being out of the game for what I assume was at least 2 weeks or so. Also I get the idea of attacking into the blind spot as a surprise attack, but at no point did it not occur to Ippo to rotate? |
