| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- It shows all that has happened to the girls since their live concert. Everybody is a lot more famous now, and needs to use disguises now. They're getting a lot more work too, Miki is modeling and Chihaya is recording. Insert is Kimi wa Melody. All the girls dress up as fruit for a magazine, but it turns out that Jupiter stole the cover from them. This gets everyone mad but Producer talks everyone down. The girls also look through the fanmail that they all got, including poorly drawn pictures. Ending is Colorful Days. Next episode looks like it could be Hibiki's episode? (Let's hope that there isn't another rollback on the forums and an episode 14 discussion has to be made for the 282nd time.) |

| Another rollback huh? =/ They got so popular now that they have to disguise themselves! Miki calling the producer "honey" is pretty sweet yet awkward at the same time. I hope the gang will be able to beat mister Kuroi and 961 pro by working hard and fighting fair. The new OP "change" is much catchier than "ready" too! =) |

The only thing I hate about both of them is that they have Ritsuko in them as a 13th idol. I mean I don't know anything about the games (whether or not she played a bigger role) and I can guess that it's foreshadowing that she will also sing/dance/whatever later at least once, but it just feels so wrong. She is messing up the beauty of the whole sequence. This show isn't about her, it's about the girls. They really should have taken out her :/ |

| Aww, Miki calling Producer "Honey". 961 Pro spices up the show with their dirty tactics and they end up being in the cover. Miki is really good at motivating the group, and as Producer says, "fight fair and square". |

| Lets see here. Splendid OP like Ready! Then we have Miki who loves receiving attention and appraisal from Producer. She might probably have a crush on him too. Lastly, I like how Yoshizawa and Mr. 765 Pro President aren't utterly left behind in the anime. They contribute to the show without being thrown there for no reason. |

| Episode that although sympathetic, perhaps has a narrative rhythm a little faster. Plot that moves forward while taking with them a certain obviousness of situations, but leaving out, are much more curious to find out how to be able to resolve the situation they are in now. Cute the ending, unfortunately the drawings of the TV version is a tad ugly. |

| So Iori and Miki are rivals for producer now, sorta. Like how Miki calls him "honey" And damn Jupiter, Makoto alone is enough to take them out. Add in Takane and Chihaya (or Miki) and we got a team which is 100x better. The preview was interesting. |

| I liked this episode a lot more than the previous three or so. Although I already kind of miss the studio struggling to be recognized in the first half. The fruit photo shoot was adorable. The grapefruits/watermelon joke was classic. The stakes were raised. I really hate Jupiter, not just because we're clearly supposed to. But because I just think they're lazily written and under designed. The scene of the President talking about his old rivalry with their studio's president was unbearably stupid and on the nose. I hope this plot doesn't take too much of the center stage. And derail the series in the second half. I liked the ending, lightened things up a little. Poor Iori can't live down her forehead. On a final note though. Still not a big fan of Miki. And her calling the Producer "Honey" now makes me hate her even more. So...damn...cloying. |

| This episode would have been good if not for the introduction of the ridiculous 1D villain that is Jupiter's president. I hope the series doesn't get worse in its second "half". It was still decent though. The new OP is good and we got some extra little bit of info on Chihaya. It looks like she was much happier in the past. |

| The first scene was really cool. To show us a repeat of the very first scene in the show is an effective way to show how much their popularity has changed. All of our girls have gotten such a big start, such a variety of work everywhere. I think Miki is my current favorite girl and her calling the Producer Honey only increases that. I love Amami and Makoto but they haven't been explored enough to be more than just that, appreciated. I love Yayoi and Iori but I feel like they haven't been explored nearly as much as Mikimiki. The fact that we've seen her best, her worst, her motivations, and her personality so much is really great. The evil Jupiter producer scene made me realize what a major theme of Idol M@ster is. Love and honest passionate work will beat evil cheaters, or more simply "love and handwork will always prevail". The new villain is just as cheesy and presumably 1D as the girls at the race and I don't like it. My same complaints stay from then, as well as the good stuff I said in contrary to those. Seeing Jupiter is filled with nice hard working boys, especially in the case of Touma who seems he needs to be the best at everything he does, makes me think that if they don't turn on their producer and help our girls I'll be incredible shocked. The fan mail scene was wholesome! I couldn't help but smile the entire scene. Seeing all the kind words and adorable fan art of them was too much to handle. It's also important to note that Chihaya was frowning at the photo of the sister and her younger brother holding her merch. It was too similar to the singular photo she has in her house of her playing with her happy younger brother and it brought back some memories. I like the foreshadowing of Chihaya's more serious issues, it's subtle enough to feel smart picking up on and connecting but not too in your face that you don't feel smart for noticing it. |
