| I'm starting to like Cagalli again :D About time she takes control of the situation, and I've been waiting for Yuna to get what he deserves. Though I agree with Stark that Yuna should just die. That scene was awesome. I'm liking Akatsuki too. ...and then I forget that in this same episode, Shinn and Rey became FAITH members. Seems like Durandal is just handing that badge out left and right. It's all to make the people get on his side without question, though of course that didn't work with Athrun in the end, and even Talia isn't totally sold. But seriously, giving Shinn that kind of authority is just...no. |
| Oh Yuna you....I can't even put into words how much I hate him. Cagalli is finally back but it might be too late cause she is screwed going up against Shinn. Kira needs to get back there now for them to have any chance. |

| Oh shit, two epic episodes in a row, first Kira was all badass with his new Gundam and now Cagalli?! And also nice to see Cagalli being useful again and actually IN command, seriously hated Yuna and would rather see him dead or tortured but whatever I guess I'll take arrested for now (I still say execute him for treason). |

Also, did he ever consider why Orb was attacked back when his family died? Because Cagalli's dad upheld his country's values to the very end, so that the very thing that is happening to the nation right now would never occur. Shinn dismissed it as idealistic bullshit back when Cagalli tried to explain herself but here we are now, with Orb pitted against ZAFT precisely because the former went against their values and decided to pick a side. Oh and let's not even talk about Shinn wishing to destroy Orb, which has to be the pinacle of hypocrisy coming from him. The whole thing is just so mind-boggingly stupid to me, I don't know if it's intentional on the writers' part or straight up bad writing. |

 Arthur is lowkey one of the best characters in this season. I really hope he lives.  "Orb has taken in a Blue Cosmos fugitive, and is therefore in league with Blue Cosmos and thus an enemy of ZAFT!" is incredibly presumptuous, and rather stupid. Isn't Orb unique in that it's the one and only faction in the entire setting that accepts BOTH naturals AND coordinators? This would be the equivalent of claiming that because the United States government took in a fugitive Nazi, they are in league with the Nazis and thus an enemy of the Allies, and thus going to war with the US to try to retrieve said fugitive is somehow just. (The US taking in Nazi fugitives did actually happen by the way, Wernher von Braun is perhaps the most notable example). There are several valid reasons I can think of as to why Orb would idealogically condemn Blue Cosmos and yetstill take in a Blue Cosmos fugitive. Ofcourse, we the audience know that the real reason is that Yuna is a moron, but outsiders have no way of knowing that.  Didn't Lord Uzumi blow up Orb's mass driver in the first season? Hasn't barely a year passed since the first season? How could the mass driver had been reconstructed within a year? The first season established that only a small handful of countries have mass drivers (which would therefore make them incredibly difficult to build and maintain), which is why the war in season 1 revolved around taking control of the mass drivers as that is the only way for the Earth Union to threaten the PLANTs. So Orb having another mass driver within a year... sounds bullocks to me. emeraldrosary said: Lol, totally loved how Cagalli arrested Yuna. What a spineless wimp. He still thinks war is a game. I read that at the time Destiny was coming out, everyone thought that the writer had lost her marbles, but then in hindsight it seemed to be the result of undiagnosed brain cancer (to which she would succumb a few years later. |
| Finally Cagalli returns to be herself, i like her a lot and j LOVE the akatsuki, too bad that i don't think she has a chance fighting against shinn. I hope she doesn't die, and i surely hope that shinn die, be returns with his twisted mentality "i will destroy orb" because his family died in orb. He is only a murderer, and i hope he gets what he deserves. |
