Uryuu's feelings are all over the place again. I mean at this point, he's grown really close to the Amagami sisters that he obviously cares about them on a deeper level.

I can't believe they don't remember him anymore. Uryuu's childhood freind is up to something especially when she mentions about them being a couple. Not going to lie, I find this episode slightly creepy.

I agree with the fact that Uryu doesn’t need no porn mags or anything for “extra-curriculars” because he’s living with three girls close to his age and as for all we know, the stuff keeps happening, but yeah, that’s just being jokes, because it’s been over 20 episodes and we’ve seen everything we could’ve hoped for or not hoped for, which eventually got him closer to the girls and vice-versa in the end. Though then all of a sudden when things are going great with the sisters, we get another girl thrown into the mix, because…

… sHe CaN’T lEt Go oF HeR cHiLDhoOd cRUsH, the one she once knew. Or at least this is what they want us to believe. Seriously, with the sisters you know, even with the dark god stuff, it looked and felt the same good old, because again, this is the way this series is supposed to go, but yeah, then the fucked up stuff happened… A COMPLETE RESET, where only Uryu knows about the sisters, and they DON’T. This is what Shirahi wished for and this is what she wanted. Sheesh… was the most lame thing in the manga, and is still the most LAME thing here. And to think we'd have at least three episodes of this gaslighting arc....

Ah yes, now we are in the "psychotic girl that is in love with me and cant let go" arc that only the best harems out there have. The little girl god surely is having a blast watching from afar.

But still i'm little surprised how shocked Uryuu was, i mean, this is the third fourth time you going through such an event, lmao.

Well we’ve finally got our Yandere addition to the harem! I’ve wanted a Shirahi arc for ages ever since she was introduced, but fuck I didn’t want it like this. Easily the most disturbing plot development thus far, making Uryu forget all the girls and date her is such a toxic and evil thing and it gives heavy shades of Freya’s arc in this season of Danmachi. Only one way this’ll end and Shirahi basically ended any hope she had of ever winning Uryu over.

Like it’s understandable she’d be upset and feel a little left behind by the guy she likes growing up so soon, but ultimately that’s life and you should be happy for Uryu. He’s objectively a much better person than he was when he left home. That should be cause for celebration, but Shirahi represents giving into your negative and dark desires.

The shrine scene where Uryuu refused to make a wish because he didn’t want anyone else getting him to where he wants to be in life and wants it purely on his own merits is exactly why he has a harem. Dude is such a badass and his drive is very attractive and infectious to anyone around him. Shirahi choosing to make a wish and erase all his existing relationships is an example of the wrong path to choose.

Yea she’s cute and all but I don’t want a ship like this and the show does a good job of showing you how messed up it is by using ominous music when she kisses him at the end. It’s not something to be cheered :/ this is gonna be sad.

Just Shirahi.

As adorable as they were, you could kinda see Yuna and Asahi's dreams coming from a mile away. Meanwhile I couldn't have been less prepared for Uryu to get absolutely and positively funky in Yae's. Hers should come true for that alone tbh.

Shitty childhood friend and gaslighting garbage out of the way, there was actually some good and cool direction in this episode…

A shame it was wasted on this garbage episode.

This episode actually made me sick to my stomach. Shirahi didn’t even attempt to try to explain her feelings to Uryu. Instead, she subjects him to a living hell. It’s clear she’s aware of this too because in every other supernatural phenomenon, the wish maker retains their memory alongside Uryu. So, even putting aside the whole love triangle angle, she knew he just lost three of her dearest friends that he viewed as family due to her selfish wish. At first, I wanted to see if she could somehow work her way into the family, but now I just want her to take a hike after Uryu fixes everything.

They did change the plot, in the manga Shirahi get disturbed that Uryu becomes a believer, she knew that he disliked gods for his mother death, so to her the childhood friend she knew disappeared and she was desperate, but since she was introduced early in the anime that would not make sense because she already knew how devoted he was to the shrine.

I guess they will make an original ending for the anime after all.

Another very good episode!

Shirahi has as much faith and will and is as in love with Uryuu as Yae, Yuna and Asahi. No matter if Uryuu deserves any one of the four girls, they all deserve to be happy with who they chose to be with...

This episode is based. We get to see more of three sister's imagined future with mc. We see the sadness of childhood friend. We see the heartbreaking reactions of the three sisters not knowing who mc is. It's spicy if ANY character can affect mc and the three sisters... I was assuming all this supernatural stuff was intrinsic. And we get to see the childhood friend become a yandere... I guess mc has presumably slept with her in this timeline considering what she said in the bath.

Ngl until this episode I was under the impression this whole show that the childhood friend... was a femboy :|

Sirahi looking at the 6:12 scene with the three sister and Uryuu, not knowing whether to think "Da fuq?" about how they are interacting or be jealous about how well they are connected.

Nothing at all symbolic about the 7:58 scene with Uryuu going back into the Amagami house the the sliding door closing off Sirahi's face, really.

SHIRAHI WHAT ARE YOU DOING? (sorry internal screaming)

I mean rather than confessing or talk about her crush with Uryu, Shirahi chose another way to confessing her love to Uryu by eliminating everything related to Amagami Shrine.
i had a faint hope that Shirahi might join Uryu's harem (or family as stated by Uryu), but with this development, i wonder how Uryu will react if he finds out what happened.

Whatever that was, I don't know how this is going to end. Remember, we have just three more episodes left.

Also, come on. Team Yae! That's the dream:

Little confession, though: I had to search the seas (Ahoy! 🏴‍☠️), get the episode with a subtitle in French, and try more or less to understand what was going on. Thank you as usual, Sony. (There wasn't an episode 21 on Crunchyroll for some reason)

@MikuXLegend yeah. Then again, it is Sony. Crunchyroll has been acting funny for some time now. In many episodes from other series on this site, I read constant complaints of missing subtitles or stuttering/buffering in good conditions.

Can't complain, though. My subscription to the service was quite cheap, and I've been entertained for many months now, so it's working as it was intended for me.

Glad to see some others brought up that crunch hadn’t had this episode up for quite some time, I got it working just now but it was after I already watched it elsewhere lol, oh well.

And damn what an interesting episode this was, I thought once all the sisters had their arc we wouldn’t be getting anymore supernatural stuff, well Shirahi proved me wrong big time lol, this is not the turn I expected for her character to take, she really created a hell for Uryu in the process of trying to create her heaven, that scene where reality burned up was so cool too, loved the spooky vibe. But the question is, can we really blame Shirahi entirely for this? Just like Yuna before, Shirahi wished to the gods for something she desired for herself, and in doing so surely you wouldn’t expect it to actually happen right? Well it did lol, but if this is anything like Asahi’s supernatural occurrence, Shirahi is probably in this along with Uryu, but is taking advantage of it as we see here, so I would say Shirahi is probably half at fault, that’s probably the part of me that still likes her talking but I’m trying to look at it objectively best I can lol.

But one thing I think most of us can agree with, damn she was looking nice in her underwear lol, Uryu doesn’t have it all bad. One of the saddest things about this tho, this is most likely gonna end with Shirahi being eliminated as a romance option, I can’t see it ever working for her if this doesn’t, I still like her a lot and I’m sure she’ll see the error of her ways and try to fix things with Uryu after a certain point, but yeah I have a feeling I should enjoy Shirahi being this close with Uryu while I can.

Off the topic of Shirahi tho, the sisters and their wishes were really sweet before it all went poof, Yae imaging Uryu absolutely hitting it wide open on the dance floor was great lol, quite the imagination she has.

@LaczPro19 It had been on the calendar page since this morning, but it led to an error page. It was finally accessible within the last couple hours between when I went to dinner and came back to my PC. The same condition is still occurring on the Medaka Kuroiwa English dub from yesterday and the Amagami English dub from this afternoon, and I would guess also some other items only showing on the calendar page.

yes totally agreed.Taking advantage of people after putting them in an emotional low(making the sisters forget about uryu in this story) is a manipulative trait. Love how this show went there while portraying how it's not to be celebrated by using the unsettling music.

Yandere girl, short hair, childhood crush, praying in abandoned shrine out of jealousy. I have been there before. So yeah not dark enough for me rn.
But distrubing nonetheless. I am not really fan of Shirahi and what she did. I think or hope so she is fully aware of the situation and her wish is direct consequence not some misunderstanding. If you gonna make villain go all out don't chicken out.

The wishes of those three was amusing specially the Yae one. Yuna one as usual the cutest. Soon followed it up by with them can't recognise Uryu was really tough to watch.

Damn.. What an episode. I like Shirahi, even though she's a bit psycho..I feel for her. However, I feel like there's more to it than just wishing upon a temple and having it come true. I feel like she actually realises that her wish came true, she has all her memories i'm assuming and just made up the fact that they're dating. Could be wrong but something felt off this episode.. could just be the music and suspense but why add that anyway unless to make us feel like something was wrong.. unless its just adding suspense because the situation is undesirable perhaps.. who knows. I guess we will find out but I have a feeling she's up to something.. she should've wished harder in that case lol, she should've wished for his memories to be erased rather than just the Amagami's.

Either way, we all know it won't last long. It'll be back to normal in an episode or two. I must say, I'm loving the supernatural elements to this show. This could've been just your average typical harem but its got quite the twists and turns that are needed to be considered "new" in a vastly explored genre like Harem and Romance. It'll be interesting to see the lore and reasoning behind why all of this is happening to them. I can't wait till next weeks episode.
