| Geez, Takumi has the unfortunate honor of having a huge targe on his back. He's not even a famous celebrity in this show but certain people and faction sure doesn't like him. And it looks like this anime also wants to summon a hero...hmm. Either way, Takumi is lucky to have his party and his own alchemist abilities to protect himself. |

| 9 episodes in and Takumi hasn’t grown a bit. Lost some respect from me this episode. Why, after everything you’ve been through, would you think Sofia, Maria and Reyva would leave your side?! They’re not being forced to be there and you’re the first true happiness they’ve felt in their lives, cmon now. Glad they were able to quickly talk him out of disbanding the party and it didn’t drag on. That “I kind of need you to consent to this” annoyed tf outta me! You’re a family now silly. Iron golem acquired β Titan’s upgraded body and his Gundam big form are dope lol. Definitely should come in handy against those heroes the princess is summoning. Speaking of which, are they really gonna end up being that strong? Seems like all they do is thirst after girls and BS. Feel sorry for Akane having to put up with those freaks. I reckon she’ll end up turning and helping Takumi Also the princess is very clearly Anat or possessed by her right? That explains why Nolyn’s assistant feels a stronger presence now. |

| This is one of those shows you drop, but then skim through to see if it ever gets better. Well it doesn't. Never noticed before, but they got the name wrong- "Someday will I be the greatest alchemist?" literally written in English next to the Japanese title during the intro. |

| I’ll give Takumi one thing, I think he’s the first Isekai MC I’ve seen try and get rid of his harem lol, there’s something I respect about that but it did feel like forced drama, I mean didn’t they just come up with a party name? I know this church assassins thing is a big deal but come on my boy, these girls are the definition of ride or die, you’re gonna need the strength to pull out King Arthur’s sword times three before you can even consider getting rid of them lol, but at least this ended with Takumi realizing how dumb that decision was. And just like that it’s back to goofy shenanigans with Takumi and his golem, I’m ngl I kinda liked it better before he revamped it but his reaction to his combination robot complete with a hangar was pretty funny, the harem did refuse a man joining the party but they didn’t say anything about a gundam lol. And of course there was more stuff with the empire/church, those two male heroes have become completely corrupt but Akane still holds strong, still doubting we actually get to see any confrontation but surely something big will happen as we near the end of the season. |

| takumi's finally got another "man" around lol but those two summoned heroes are badly corrupted, i can't wait to see their downfall and eventual fall from grace. it shows just how weak-minded they both are from the start to be corrupted that easily. they gave in to their desires so easily. |

| I really don't understand how the male MC could be so oblivious to there thoughts and feelings, I mean during this entire time they keep showing their undying loyalty to the male MC, but he just continues to ignore everything and to push everyone away, I hope this is the last time we see him do that. Or else it will just causing them to force him to shut up and let them stay by force. Hahahahaha! π |

Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.  |

Plus, they were after his life, and seeing a knife next to Sofia neck made him feel extremely helpless. He felt this was his problem, and they got caught in cross-fire. So, he made the decision on what he thought was best at the moment to isolate himself from everyone. He just didn't know how to deal with the emotions he had at the moment. In the end, they accepted what was going on and chose to stay. That is what Takumi needed to hear. That was my take in the situation. Thank you for explaining. I understand that is what the anime is using to explain his decision, including him not being a fighter that could protect them like he would want to. It’s just, after everything that has happened between them, why not ask them what they want to do first and consider their perspectives and mindset, working out everything together? He is always making decisions first, then the girls have to disagree and insist on this or that, till he finally realizes and recognizes their true feelings and thoughts on the matters at hand. If things are that bad and he has to put his foot down, then it would be after they discussed the issues and concerns, so that they couldn’t dispute him on his choice. |

| Takumi caring for the girls well being is understandable, he doesn't want them to get hurt but of course the girls don't want for that to happen. But considering that he wasn't a teen in his previous world, he sure lacs the balls and a certain lever of maturity. Titan looks cool with it's small and big body, gave Mecha vibes, would be a great asset in future just like the girls. |

| The Divine Light Squadron targeting Takumi, while the Kingdom of Barcula provides the greatest protection, the town of Bolton still presents a danger, so finding additional people to would help, though it's better to just focus on their efforts for now. With the failure of the Squadron, however, Sidonia has to backtrack prioritizing on summoning its heroes instead, as Takumi readies his magic items to deal with golems, which is quite the distance away from when they faced the Treants. Finding one golem is beginner's luck, but to face a menace like the one they're facing, and even managing to tame it, Titan would be quite the ally for a Guardian Golem. While Akane repulses from Akira and Yamato indulging in their egos, Takumi managing to tame Titan, but leaving Sofia, Maria and Reyva by dissolving their contracts to avoid putting them in danger, this is blatant disrespect by ignoring their feelings and just regard his own. Man, better humble up and realize that they're part of your party, and for all it's worth, Titan being the mecha that he's been longing for this while, everything is now perfect. The seeds of war have begun to move, for bad and worse. |
