I think it became more obvious that Luke developed feelings for Natsuko in these recent episodes.

Ye, this episode is much more about character relationship building than plot. Glad they were able to spend some time alone together and seems like a "date". Not the typical type of date though.

Absolutely adorable episode. So fucking cute. AHHHHHHH. My heart!!!

Luke finally confessed his feelings to Natsuko but she didn't understand the meaning of that confession until they reached their first date spot, the Hot Springs. Luke kept saying "I love you" to Natsuko but that final "I love you" was the most adorable and beautiful jumping from the top of the Gundam. And, Natsuko finally got her first "Tunk". So cute.

Top-tier episode. Justice keeps being the best wingman. Although the director has already told Natsuko that their fate is sealed and nothing can be changed, so Luke's demise is written in stone. I can't wait to see what's coming next. It might turn dark very quickly soon. I have a bad feeling about this. I hope I'm wrong.

The episode was really cute, I'm happy to see Natsuko finally feeling how it is to like someone
But I can't deny that I'm a bit nervous bc of the director. I wonder if she has something to do with the Voids. Maybe she'll do anything so the story ends like she intended to... Or maybe I'm overthinking and she's really just a bird lol

Luke, a true hero, defeats anime roncom MMCs to at least 2 sigma.

"So, the Luke of this world has to be as real as I am."
Reverse the frame of reference on that statement for a disturbing revelation.

Ha, detail. That changed the animation of her powerup sequence to show she did not have pants.

Luke's fate, death by despair, is fixed in stone? But, maybe, not necessarily the cause of the despair?. If Natsuko revives in the Real Kingdom, leaving the Nine Kingdoms, will that break Luke? And, of course, inspire the ever living hell of Natsuko in writing her anime. Or just maybe, he can have absorbed enough from his new experiences, and the changes in his world, and the additional connections he is left with, to survive with a 'It's better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all' scenario.

like i said on old episodes natsuko will learn love from loving luke so she can finish her movie in real life

but the demise of luke is that he will part ways with her lover natsuko in the end because they are from different worlds unless luke got isekaid to the real world in the end

natsuko is beautiful on this episode though even though the animation itself is weak or mid

One of the best confession episode. Confession without any annoying interruption is already a big plus for me, but to hype it up further by adding a fanservice and a fight scene and even make them fight and give fanservice at the same time is amazing.

WAIT THEY TOLD ME THE EPISODE TITLE WAS CONFESSION NOT CONFESSIONS 😭 Luke confessing to Natsuko every time he saw her today was sooo cute he is so in love with her and whipped I love it.

My haters to lovers ship has sailed, but I swear they better not tear them apart, MAPPA please.. part of me is afraid this is gonna be a learning experience for Natsuko and she’ll wake up back in the real world having finally known her first love, now able to move forward and live in the moment/accept others. The director’s words were just very ominous to me.

Seeing Luke so flustered was sooo cute though. Poor Umio been waiting their entire life to make his move and then Natsuko shows up out of nowhere and makes Luke fall instantly 😭 I do feel for him, but I mean look at her! How can you blame Luke

“People died” and it’s just your faves on their first date. That hot spring trip was sooo cute. I love how Luke was tired of Natsuko dodging the confession and wasn’t gonna take being ignored for an answer anymore lol. And even when the void shows up he’s more upset that it ruined their date than anything else.

Ahhhh that ending, she let out a “squee” she’s so in love!! And anitrendz expects me to believe there’s 10 ships better than this this season lol. Great episode

I think Luke’s love confession to Natsuko was a bit strange. He kept repeating “I love you”, but he should have told her more detailed about how he felt. A romantic date would have been perfect.

OMG I got what I wanted this episode, but it was so much cuter than I'd imagined - Luke confessing to Natsuko at every turn was unexpected but golden. It's been a while since I've watched an anime episode while giggling so much. I rarely care for any ships but this one's just too cute lol. I lost it when Luke even shouted "I LOVE YOU!" while dealing the final blow to the monster. Natsuko really did have a "squeee" moment of her own. Best episode by far.

Still waiting for tragedy to strike, but hopefully it won't be to Luke's demise. I can't imagine this show having a bad ending.

So cute omg!!!

Natsuko fell in love!

Now I feel sad about how this is gonna end.

As expected the bird is the author. Don't like how she keeps saying the end of the story will be the same no matter what Natsuko does.

Strangely enough maybe once the world ends, Natsuko can return?

I wonder if she'll have to choose letting this world end so she returns to real world, or protect it but getting stuck here forever?

For now lets see what happens next. Can't see how their relationship develops from now.

P.S NATSUKO FINALLY HAD HER FIRST LOVE MOMENT.

Ok her first "squee" moment lol. She literally said it out load hahaha. I wonder how this first love will go?

We also got that weird bird being the director?

Also Luke really just confessed straight up and then kept confessing until the end.

The hot spring date was good.

Also, is it just me or does the director look a bit like a certain superhero suit designer from a superhero movie?

That was a fun ep. I’m hooked on this ship now.

The void using Natsuko’s lasers is sus. I wonder if the powers from her drawings will be incorporated into the anime’s rewritten story and force the heroes to fight everything she’s introduced into this world?

Uh this is getting weird now, so she's going to get romantic with her childhood cartoon character crush..uh hmm talk about taking 2D love to another level. Hmmm who would my childhood cartoon crush have been...I can't remember Daphne from Scooby Doo...Smurfette...I like the live action Wonder Woman but not really the cartoon version...Sabrina from Archie...oh maybe Firestar from Spider-man and his Amazing Friends...so many possibilities

me too, I'm worried about the director and her "power" to influence the story.

But I'm really enjoying Zenshuu. It gives me the vibes of my young age watching those classical Shounens with transformations like when she activates the drawing desk.
And now I see a romantic development!!

I'm really enjoying it more and more after each episode.

This episode continued the story in an incredible way. The story is still a little cliché, but it's a really cool cliché. In Brazil we have an expression that says "well-cooked beans and rice are better than a burnt steak." And this episode was excellent beans and rice.

I love Luke being a total weirdo about everything. I also love Justice being..... normal and helpful?

Not a fan of the tension being generated by the bird-director. It's too easy to ask, "why the heck aren't they communicating directly about anything?" and dismiss the contrived stakes.

This episode directly addressing Natsuko's relationship with A Tale of Perishing the film and the characters as people who presently demand her attention/respect is great. I'm hoping the show will be able to ultimately say something interesting about the nature of art and fiction, but I'm not gonna get my hopes up too high.

The visuals on display continue to impress me. What lovely art.

So the final boss is the director? If I were her, I'd understand being mad for someone trying to change my original work, but just like Natsuko said, she's just trying to survive and keep everyone alive.

The ending will be like "love and friendship can change fate" or "do whatever you want, fate won't change".

Also, why the author hates Luke so much? Luke was in her anime some kind of projection of ex-boyfriend or something? I don't like this author, she made her great character miserable. I don't like this type of writing and I'm kinda glad Natsuko by her appearance fixes this world sentenced to doom by it's author.

Luke has mastered a new skill, the love confession! Its super effective at stunning Natsuko!

Also Natsuko fangirling out over the director is too real. She loves the story but the end of the world would be no world for her to live in. So I hope it isn't as set in stone as the director thinks.

It's corny but these two are kinda cute. The art and animation help a lot.

Yeah, the show is definitely flirting with something great there. They have 4 episodes left to go, enough time for them to take this somewhere really interesting and maybe even uncomfortable.

I get the feeling that the bird director got disillusioned with creating and getting invested in a fictional story. Which is why she keeps repeating, "it's no use/it's pointless."

You pour your creativity, your love and your life into bringing a character to life, but in the end they still only exist inside a drawing, and they can't love you back or give back anything. Then you look up from your desk and realize you sacrificed so much of your time and energy on something that other people don't even care about. What was the point?

I would like to see the answer MAPPA animators come up with, but like you say, who knows whether they'll answer that question at all...

It's official, Natsuko and Luke have fallen for each other. However, if what the bird that was revealed to be the director of Tales of Perishing reincarnated then the bad ending is going to happen at the cost of losing Natsuko's life. Is Natsuko's power going to be strong to change their fates?

These past two episodes have been the best so far, almost enough to overlook some of the flaws in the previous episodes.

It feels like it was written as a two-parter. I'm glad I watched these two back-to-back, as it made me appreciate the flow between them.

Pantsless Natsuko is best Natsuko.

But also, the foreshadowing from the director thoughhh. The obvious guess is that Natsuko leaves the world and leaves Luke behind, which is his new demise.
Also, it's a very interesting detail that the peg bar was the director's... Why does it have a will of its own, and why is it constantly telling Natsuko to draw and change the story, which goes against what the director wants?

Also, anyone notice that the Gundam-esque mecha was from the movie poster in episode 1? I remember looking at it when we saw Serval Cat Mask way back when:

There's a high probability that Natsuko can change the destiny of that world. I mean she already done some of it, and she's a anomaly on that world. And I have a feeling that Natsuko can probably come back into the reality world. Maybe she's just in a coma or something in reality.

AHHHHHHHHHH YESSSSSSSS, LETS GOOOOOOO!!! BRING IN THE ROMANCE!!!

This episode looked BEAUTIFUL!!! That hot spring looked so nice!

We also got to see a different and new side to Natsuko; FIRST TIME SHES FEELING LOVE?!?!?!?! SQUEEEEEE!!! She also looked so pretty in the hot springs.

I would say this is my favorite episode so far along with episode 6. Romance scenes just get me every time😂

This episode along with episode 6 had the best animation but for different reasons. Episode 6 had the amazing animated fight scene but now this episode just looks so aesthetically pleasing; I could sit here and rewatch those scenes all day😂

Again with the ending song matching the ending scene perfectly which make me love the ending song even more.

Overall, this episode was great and was very enjoyable to watch!

Tbh i couldn't care less about the love (romance) aspect of this anime...I myself don't exactly understand what it feels to be in love so i normally don't watch anime with that genre as i couldn't relate. It's easier to dismiss what u don't comprehend.

That said the Visuals and character designs are good (Hate Luke's design, too generic) Natsuko and Memmeln are my favorites but as always the studio forgets that Memmeln exist and she gets no screentime.

I know this anime is teaching about different forms of "First Love" to viewers and to make Natsuko feel her first feeling of First Love but i honestly only care about how the plot plays out.

*What exactly are the voids?
*Why are they evolving as time goes by? *Who made the Soul Futures in the story of Tale of Perishing world? (I know the bird director but i'm talking about the lore)
*Why do voids require all 9 Soul Futures just to get the Ultimate Void to appear?
*If the story plays out the way the Bird Director intended, then what will Natsuko do? What comes next?

I honestly hope Natsuko has plans for the worst case scenario, she need to prepare for what comes after because obviously the Bird Director won't let her story get defiled and changed by some fan of hers who idolizes her.

So many questions, hope they reveal the answers to these questions as the story plays out.
