| Episode was leaked early. Feels so weird to have TOLIET BOUND HANAKO-KUN in 2025. A whole FIVE years after the first season. Glad they kicked it off with a recap of sorts at least beforehand. but yeah, straight back into it, and you know how this show works, Nene's best friend says the line "have you heard about the _ of the Seven Wonders", and gives the backstory yadda yadda yadda. This time is no different lol, with it being the first of the wonders. And so, straight to the bathroom it is after the wonder that Aoi was talking about just conveniently happens to do something as soon as she talks about it... Anywho, for once though, Hanako actually doesn't have a clue about this wonder. Which leads back to what I was talking about the whole thing with how Aoi is really suspicious, Hanako has actually caught on as well... so much to the point where he takes over Nene's body and interrogates Aoi... in a very.. interesting manner to say the least LOL. But yeah, poor Nene and dude who is head over heels for Aoi. Both of them saw something I think NETHER of them would've liked to have seen. But yeah, dude is part of the council with Kou's brother. One thing leads to another and they teams up to find out what it is that Aoi is keeping from them... and surprise surprise, she's one of the wonders. Fine enough return, it's just the same old same old Hanako-kun from all those years ago. Animation looks about the same as back then as well, so all I would hope for is that they at least adapt the manga properly this time around... LOL who am I kidding, this is Lerche we're talking about, the studio that can't adapt anything right. |

| AHHHH we are so back. Sad it got leaked, but it was the day of at least!!! Thank god we are starting off with this arc of all of them. Seeing Hanako again.. AHHH but I do wish Hanako would chill with the pervy jokes, that’s the one thing about him that I didn't much while reading. Maybe it’s some weird defense thing, like joking about stuff you’re scared of to make it less scary, but still… It’s kinda messed up how a victim’s mind can get as twisted as the predator’s, like some nasty disease. Or maybe he just doesn’t care ‘cause he’s a ghost. Who knows? But anyway, Hanako (in Yashiro’s body) saying that all seductively?? It kinda caught me off guard, like, wow, this turned into a yuri moment real quick. And then Kou jumps in trying to cheer Nene-senpai up.. smooth move, kouhai-kun. THAT CLIFFHANGER IS SO MEAN THOUGH LOOOLLLL. I can't believe we're back!!! |

| Mangaka AidaIro's series back after 5 years, though Lerche's anime is already a lost cause adaptation-wise. Masayoshi Ooishi's OP and Akari Kito's ED are decent, but good for the latter. It's great to see Hanako, Nene Yashiro and Kou back after the After School spin-off short series (which actually is recent), and the anime being the direct continuation from Season 1 with a short recap of what happened thus far prior. With some of Kamome Academy's Seven Wonders quelled, the 1st of the Seven Wonders of the Three Clock Keepers become the main suspect for theiir ability to manipulate time, which sets the entire academy in stoppage time because of the 3rd Clock Time Keeper Mirai. Of course, Hanako has direct affiliations towards the 1st of the 3, Kako, because he's just a pervert in his own teasing lols. That leaves the 2nd in question of Genzai, which Nene's classmate Akane Aoi is kind of suspicious, and Hanako infiltrating Nene's body to try and get some information out of Aoi, wreaks havoc out of Lemon Yamabuki who retaliates just about immediately to oust Hanako out of her body. Lemon's quite protective of Aoi all the same, and since the Clock Keepers doesn't show themselves easily, Hanako forcing his hand to reveal Aoi's true reveal as one of the Clock Keepers, that sets the case ablaze. There's no hope to readapt the anime, but to move on. |

| Hanako does what Hanako does. I'm reminded of why this anime's comedy and character chemistry works so well. Hanako and Nene on most parts is still how I remembered as. It's an episode that gives back to fans of the franchise and this is another one of the school mysteries. The Three Clock Keepers and the episode's case sells itself as yet another mystery to build into the overall fundamentals of the show. Welcome back Hanako. |

| finally season 2 is here T_T the opening seemed so calm at first but obviously not for long lol I got used to listening to the dub because I remember thinking Hanako's voice sounded odd in the original version but somehow now it sounds just fine ;-; poor boys turned into grandpas -_- my favorite moments this episode were surprisingly those of our two Aoi's : ) also, I forgot just how big of a perv Hanako is... screenshots of my favorite scenes! |

Missed this colour palette and art so much. Apparently this arc actually should’ve been in s1, so it’s a lot out of order chronologically. Great first episode back tho. We’re right in the thick of it again with another wonder. Did NOT expect Akane to be the clock keeper. But in hindsight it def makes sense with how persistent he was about Aoi and how she ignored his ass lol. Poor thing just wanted his feelings to be returned, but why speed up time? If she didn’t love you in present day how would aging things up change anything YURIFICATION YURIFICATION!!!! Technically not yuri since Hanako was in Nene body, but we take the small wins as they come lmao. That Aoi and “Nene” scene was great. | Can’t believe I’m watching a new Hanako-kun episode again 5 years later, absolutely insane how long ago 2020 was, yes I did watch both parts of the spin-off when they came out, and I also rewatched the original show for the first time since 2020 in preparation for this, but damn it still feels so good to finally see a continuation of this story and more of these characters. I was a huge fan of the first season despite the skipped content and “moving manga” style of animation, so it doesn’t really bother me much that they’re just going ahead with a Season 2, and so far it looks like Lerche is doing a great job, the signature art style of the series is there in its beautiful glory, and it even seems more animated than before, of course that could be the rose tinted glasses talking but still lol. And with a short recap (which was needed) we’re right back where we left off, and we’re starting with the first wonder of school, being the three keepers of some kind of clock, which also took us to focusing on Aoi. I’ve always really liked her, such a cute design and she’s had great moments with Nene, but it’s been clear for a long time there’s more than meets the eye with her, so I’m glad the new season is starting with addressing that, only I didn’t expect the keeper to actually be her obsessed childhood friend Akane, I had a feeling Aoi might be a red herring but I was also sure she had to be a keeper, I guess it’s still possible but I really liked the reveal that it’s Akane, very cool moment, Hanako was devious with that move but he was right to do it, the next one should be interesting! Also I loved the moments of Hanako possessing Nene, really funny stuff there lol. And the OP/ED of this had the tough job of holding a candle to Season 1’s which were so so good, and it’s hard to say either of the new ones surpass them but they’re definitely very good, I’m glad Masayoshi Oishi returned for the OP and Akari Kitou is still doing the ED, the visuals were very nice for both too, even if they don’t beat the originals they will grow on me for sure. |
| Everyone's favorite toilet spirit and daikon are back. While I only watched the first season and the spin-offs a while back, the recap is much appreciated for those who watched the show during the original run. The OP has a lighter theme than the first one, but Masayoshi Oishi did a great job, I think I like this one more than first season's OP. So we got two Masayoshi Oishi OPs this season, which is nice, but I digress. Meanwhile, Akari Kito's ED is nice, but I prefer Tiny Light, which sounds more somber and emotive than this one. Still, it's hard to top Tiny Light, so I think Kito-san did a great job. But, I prefer this season's ED animation than the first season's. Overall, a solid start to the season. I can't believe this only averaged 7.18 at the time of writing. |
| I'm so glad it is properly back, the spin off was a nice appetizer but we can finally progress with the real story, I should have re watch the first season but oh well, I was hoping for a good recap, it is always the same with these shows, the ones that could really use a recap barely even have one yet shows that don't need that get a whole recap episode. |
| I won’t give any spoilers, but this arc should have been adapted in the first season. They skipped everything and left it for the second, but chronologically, this arc takes place in the middle of the first season. |

I've noticed over the past 2 years that MAL is getting more and more picky, it's a bit cringe.
| @JaysonNnN And they give popular shit like Solo Leveling 8.8 like usual. And Blue Lock s2 horrendous production gets a 7.6. Usually the more mainstream/ popular the show the higher the score. |

| Daikon-legs Nene is back! 3/5 start. Not really a fan of Aoi and Akane's characters (dafuq they have the same name but reversed??) but it sure is nice to finally have the continuation of the main story after 5 years of waiting. |

| So happy to have the 2nd season finally. That first episode was good and am hoping for a decent season so we'll get a 3rd and hopefully not another 5 year wait as that tends to ruin interest for most anime. |

| Omggg Hanako, Nene and Kou are here again! Still as adorable and cute as ever, love their antics. Finally Akane's identity is revealed, let's see how Aoi is saved. The opening is not as fun as the first one but it's okay. Just being able to see them again is enough to make me happy :') |
