Typical salaryman gets sent to another world. Got to see a glimpse of what Uchimura's real life is like. This had some cheeky humor. Ulmandra made the most impression imo, mostly with her fiery personality. Seems this will follow mostly their adventures together. I will say though...Uchimura has a way with words, at least he seems somewhat intelligent. |

ABEMA / dAnime Store Early Airing. Mangaka Benigashira's series is rather interesting for an Isekai fantasy summoning of a salaryman. Kentaro Seino's OP is rather OK (which his voice sound too much akin to Masayoshi Ooishi), but otonari's ED is good. The life of Dennosuke Uchimura being the demoted salaryman overly working for slogs and always being transferred overseas, only to find himself Moped-kuned and summoned by the Demon King as one of the Demon Army's 4 Elite Generals bearing the Overseas Manager moniker, this job is too easy for him to pass the chance. Furthermore, with the Demon King seeing potential in him, aside from the other 3 who doesn't feel that he is the suitable person for the job. And to that extent, the Demon King issuing the entrance exam for him to negotiate with other demi-human tribes to join the Demon Army, to have the Inferno Assailant of Ulmandra assist him, it's truly the test of his second life with no magic, just resourcefulness. Ulmandra helping on negotations with the Minotaur Tribe's chief Tarius...only for her to burst out in anger against him when he refuses, that leaves an even frightening prospect of a hot mess for Uchimura to counter. With a cinch of the moments of his past life, Uchimira attempts the near-impossible, and the pact is finalized from both sides, as a result of both emotion and compassion, which thereby Uchimira passes the exam. This is only the beginning of Uchimura's negotiating power to become part of the Elite Generals. The power of negotiation in an Isekai, this is already very interesting enough. Looking forward to see Uchimura's exploits in the fantasy world. |

the first ep establishes an interesting premise and introduces a likable protagonist. However, there is room for more character development and a more balanced pace to maximize the series' potential. i think it's a bit rushed somethings, Uchimura’s transition into the new world and his acceptance of the role as one of the Four Heavenly Kings happen quickly, without much exploration of his emotions or initial challenges. A more gradual development could enrich the narrative. 5,5/10 |

Ah, season comedy/parody Isekai with some serious tone about office work culture. Uchimaru and Ulmandra relationship is what I am interested in the most, wonder where it leads. |

@LacingMaster The item is like a traditional paper shredder, possibly offering a more compact or affordable solution for document destruction needs. P.S.: Taobao is a Chinese e-commerce website. |

Huh, hit by a scooter then summoned by a Demon lord- one more means of Isekai that isn't the Truck (nothing wrong with it though, points for creativity) Given the overreliance on "Being OP from the start" the idea that he's got nothing beyond his salaryman skills is actually an interesting change in direction and I hope they utilize the potential of this concept well. Kind of reminds me of one of my favorite isekai from a couple years back- How a Realist Hero rebuilt the kingdom. Similar situation- the MC has no meaningful powers beyond his mental abilities and they are going to help their respective powers using the skills they brought with them. In this case, it appears the focus will be more on the running of the Demon Lord's army rather than the adventuring itself, a nice change of pace. As an Isekai fan, I have high hopes for this one, hoping it proves to be one of the better titles |

The wet dreams of Japanese office plankton. Boom, there he is... A boss who appreciates you and has high hopes for you. A busty demon who's 'ready' already at a moment's notice. And that's just the first episode. And he does everything in a heartbeat. He gets it overnight. A little bit about why there are such anime, who they are for. A lot of text underneath. In today's world, there are offices dedicated to bleed employees white. Companies have very cannibalistic practices. Sometimes it leads to death by overwork. There are such companies, but not all. Only people who value themselves and do not want to flatter their bosses leave such companies. There are companies with a complicated ladder. Lots of jobs, positions, departments. It's usually something old. There's a lot of good stuff in there. There's an order to these things. Follow the protocol and maybe you'll get something, unless the head of the department has a nephew. Or he's the deputy. Then there are meritocratic companies. And you'd think you'd get promoted in one of those, wouldn't you? Of course not. For example. A warehouse has five loaders and a foreman. The foreman has retired. Should one of the loaders be promoted to foreman? It can be, but it should be someone who can manage people and plan. Someone who can be trusted with subordinates and control their work. It is likely that there will not be such a person among the loaders and that they will recruit foreman from outside. As for mc-kun. He came to another world in the same position of crisis manager without the possibility of growth. He will do exactly the same thing, but will be paid more and sometimes patted on the head. He's still not the main boss. And, for now at least, he's a performer. If you are given a task, you do it. A real boss does not have someone who sets a task. The fictional director makes up the task for himself and his subordinates. He decides what the company will do and how. Or a department. I mean, nobody says: 'Sign a contract with these guys. You are not sitting down and think, I should sign a contract with these guys. Hey you, manager, go and sign a contract with them.' It doesn't mean that mc-kun doesn't have subordinates or can't manage. It's master/slave scenario. Ideally, in a very meritocratic world, leaving your job for a promotion is unlikely. It's just a change of employer. Same job, but better pay, better conditions. Someone who's good as a foreman isn't necessarily good as a warehouse manager. And vice versa. Japanese office plankton are very suspicious. Their whole culture is based on doubting what the people around them think. So they often think they're better than they are. And the lack of normal, non-hierarchical discussion contributes to this. It's also not customary to speak directly in Japan. So you have a lot of fools sitting around sulking, not understanding why they were not promoted. And the inability to stand up for one's own interests leads to exploitation. So Japan is full of people for whom this anime is a wet dream. To understand the concept of 'one's place' in Japanese culture, I recommend the film 'Dr Akagi'. |

Didn't think I was going to like it as much as I did, but hey I did! So nice he now has a Boss that ACTUALLY appreciates him for his skills. Which his is IQ & quick thinking. Something you really need in an Army. Well, weird its the Demon army but like so many of these I get the feeling these guys aren't really the Evil monsters we would expect. Never judge a book by it's cover. Demon Overlord seems to be a very, very competent leader. I also like THAT. |

Gotta have my seasonal dose of Eris aka hot headed red hair waifu. Love Ulmandar already and she's voiced by Koko chan so even better. It's like Eris voiced by Roxy lol. Otherwise decent start, seems like will be somewhat fun/amusing. Demon Lord seems like a nice character. Need more world building info though, curious. ED song was pretty nice. |

The OP vocals are pretty alright. The visuals is much much better than the ED. Someone on this forum said that "The OP is like a roller coaster" which i really agreed with. Apperently the OP spoiled one of the main girls... why???? The ED vocals are good. The visuals are just moving frames, but the vocals do make up for it. The Minotaur agreement was talked about in post... which is a shame and also really weird? This whole shows premise is doing the bureaucratic dirty work and we dont see it in the FIRST episode? The red hair girl isnt very compelling or interesting, just seems very generic. The demon lord on the other hand seems like a much more interesting character but he seems a bit one note so far. 3/5 Intial predictions is a 6.5/10 show |

My country has a whole host of its own issues, but all these shows about Japanese work culture makes me feel so bad for them too. The number of MCs that have died from overwork, or are just happy to be appreciated, or would rather go through a zombie apocalypse than work again is staggering. As a reflection of where business people see themselves, it's rough. What's worse, is that as bad as I feel about it now, I hardly think about that when my next game is delayed, when the show goes on hiatus, when the manga takes a week off, or when the animation looks horrible compared to last season. These shows with the overwork theme basically feel like a cry for help from a nation's workforce. I'm guessing a story about struggling to make ends meet with the same wages but more costly goods, while not being able to afford healthcare would resonate equally well with my own countrymen. |

Not Truck-kun this time, but Moped-chan, eh. Middle management sounds like hell on earth, whereas the demon lord's army gives better competitive benefits. Where'd the bar come from? I'm curious to see where this goes. It's like if "Rock" from Black Lagoon was summoned to a different world instead of Thailand. |

Come on, this first episode seemed to me to be something a little different from normal, although the person invoked is something very common and present in animes, we are seeing a different direction, this path that this anime will take could be interesting, but at the same time it could be boring or start to be if something comes along to change it, like an event, battles, or something similar, that makes it interesting, while it can be good, it can also be bad. |

If a client throws a tantrum of 'No!'s until you give them a passionate gaze, it may be time to reconsider making a contract. Not sure about this one yet, it'll depend on how quickly he gets over the squealing and fainting and just gets down to work. Might have even been a one episode thing, that'd be a nice change of pace for the genre. |

To get sent to another world by a moped grandma is embrassingly bad 😂😂😂 No idea what I just watched but I love it!! The demon Lord VA sounds similar. Also sexy dragon lady waifu with a personality to match her bust. 🙃 What are the chances that she lays eggs ? ( Asking for a friend...) |

Nothing ground-breaking in the story. But briskly presented so I was not bored. And at least three of the Four Generals are females. Ulmandra already has changed her mind about Uchimura's usefulness. And what about the mysterious bar boss? |

Black company's exploitation, revealed. Isekai'd to have better benefits? lols Nekomimi detected. Not really interested in the "Overlord's character", but much more interested in MC's relationship with the other two girls of the big four. (hoping for some romance... lols) Anyway, we know where this is going. It's another "isekai'd to properly manage something because the people there are hopeless in management" kind of series. |

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

It’s crazy I was hesitant about picking this one up and it ended up being the best story so far of the isekai/fantasy stuff this season lol. Certainly better than Bogus Skill, alchemist and S Rank cat. I’m a sucker for the salaryman isekai’d trope when done right, I.e the salaryman actually acts like a proper adult and not a cringe teenager who happens to be 30. Daisuke coming from a toxic work situation where he was basically just ordered around, to a being actually valued as one of the demon lord’s generals is cool. Actually gave me some vibes of Magilumiere from last season with how Kana was treated at her new company, as well as strongest mage in the demon lord’s army from a few seasons ago. Bit of that handyman Saitou magic too. Lot of positives here. “It’s not for you or your former job to determine if you’re worthless. It’s for I.” Lmao real “Believe in the me that believes in you” esque of the demon lord there. Daisuke might lack Ulmandra’s strength, but he makes up for it with his ability to understand people and get shit done. He’s a great negotiator and he just has a human element the demon lord’s army been missing. Negotiations with Tarius were interesting and I had fun in this episode seeing Ulmandra come to accept Daisuke. BUT I feel like the romance is moving too fast on that front. I hate when girls fall in love with the dude off one positive interaction. 🤦🏽♂️ she’s really pretty though and Geektoys seem to be doing well with the production values so I’m looking forward to the rest of this one. |

Good first impression for this show. Nothing crazily funny in this first episode, but it was amusing and even fairly inventive at times (among other things, truck-kun has been replaced haha). Ulmandra was cute and I love her VA, plus the plot was easy to follow and makes you a little bit curious about the salaryman new 'boss' as well as the world in which he is now living. Basically, looking forward to the next episodes :) |

It's a very generic beginning, a little fun at times and at other times it tries to take the plot to something "more serious". The proposal hasn't seemed decent to me so far, and the production of this anime is of very low quality. I have many cons and no pleasant comments so far about this premiere. Well this is basically a generic isekai but of low quality, the characters are the same ones found in common isekais and the world itself of this isekai also has the same configuration as others isekais generic, the story is about a guy who has to keep agreements...? The isekai formula is different but the way the direction has followed so far is the same as other isekais The protagonist is basically the loser who slowly tries to build up courage and do something useful instead of complaining. He acts in negotiations and agreements... As for the other characters presented... well, there's nothing to say because they're all uninteresting lol The opening and ending are very bad, both the visuals and the music. The soundtrack isn't very pleasant either. I didn't like the comedy either, the protagonist's reactions seemed very exaggerated. And the direction is terrible, many still scenes and at other times exaggerated expressions of the characters. The animation is terrible too... I honestly think this might be the first anime of the year that I'll drop soon... For now I'll try to follow along, I think. Episode 2/5 |

@MeguSae38 I recall Kazuma got isekai-ed for even less than a moped crash. Also not the first maou to be offering better working conditions: I recall seeing a clip of another maou/villain type anime character offering some encouragement in a corporate setting, but I can't remember the name of the anime. Also, I'm guessing this is part of some Japanese culture of downplaying your prior achievements at a job interview so as not to appear boastful: |

OK, only 3 minutes in, but that was pretty good. Thinking he controls the ocean because he's the "Overseas Manager." Edit: and 6 minutes in they didn't follow up on the joke, apparently the Overlord did actually select him for his management skills. "Controlling water" was a one-time gag, I guess. The negotiation with the Minotaur felt incredibly forced. The flashback was idiotic. The minotaur not just telling her he sleeps on the hay is idiotic. It was bad. |
