We all know that the opening of dandadan 'otonoke' is super addictive and all because it was made by the goat, Creepy nuts. When we hear the name 'creepy nuts' we think about another goated song from them (atleast for anime fans 👀), the opening of Mashle 'bling bang bang born'. Both of the songs are amazing and great for all of anime fans, but if you had to choose, which is better?

Btw, ik the MAL community is...um.. Yh so im just saying, this is just a thread made for entertainment. This is no hate, both of these song r amazing and I dont want them to have some kind of rivalry. I dont want this is become a war and for people to deep fry me. Tbh, Otonoke was my least favorite that I have heard from them. Not to diss the song though. It’s still very good, but their other songs are definitely better at least to me.

personally i prefer Otonoke, it has that grandiose chorus the other one doesnt have
bpm-wise theyre very similar so the chorus switches things up perfectly or else they would have been too similar
both are good tho, Creepy Nuts have been cooking and im glad they finally get the attention they deserve
go listen to their non-anime related albums theyre very good

Same, I still like Bling Bang Bang Born but it kinda just got old.

I'd like to choose option 3, Daten. By far the best Creepy Nuts song.

Out of these two I prefer otonoke. Maybe it's recency bias though idk

While I immediately liked Otonoke a lot, the more random structure of it made it slightly harder to get into than the Mashle one, which is just an immediate classic. Visually though, Otonoke certainly takes it, and with repeated listens I think I honestly prefer the song now too.

Otonoke is leagues better IMO, but Bling Bang is catchier - thus it's one of THE most popular anime-related songs of all times. Otonoke may not even reach top 100 on the same list.

If I would rate them both:

Bling-Bang-Bang-Born = 8.5/10

Otonoke = 8.75/10

So overall I rlly adore those 2 songs as Otonoke is definitely top 5 from creepy nuts but if I wanna include others from the band for example "Daten" which is an easy 9/10 song so op and also the great ed for cotn are top 3 creepy nuts songs.

Creepy Nuts's best music is def still between Joendanyusho and To Us Former Prodigies.

Otonoke is a bop, no if’s, and’s or but’s. The transition from the spoken/rap verses to the melodic chorus is pure art.
