Another magical girl show and this one as a slight twist where magical girls are like a job working fo a company. Episode followed Kana's life and her role as a magical girl. Not going to lie, I think was kinda epic. It took the magical girl theme seriously, not protraying as some sort of parody. Kana herself has some personality and her character has a lot of room to grow. |

Mangaka Sekka Iwata's series is as bona-fide as it can be about Magical Girls being the pride of professional work being members of society. And more than just J.C.Staff alone, the collab with new studio Moe certainly gives the series more flare in animation. Mafumafu's OP is unmistakable alongside syudou's ED, it's just as good. One of its capable Mahou Shoujos of Hitomi Koshigaya have definitely been pushed beyond their limits, and her small, employed company of Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc. wants a new Mahou Shoujo to precede their ranks. Outside, the job-seeking applicant of Kana Sakuragi definitely is nuts for trying to reach the stars hoping to get employed for a job. Most certainly, Kana's personality has potential given her impeccable memory and kind-heartedness to want to help people, but if companies keep rejecting her, it's the same-old self-introduction that always gets her teething in nervousness. And onto the next company where their holding room is freezing like an igloo, Kana and the others need not wait further to see a Kaii monster right before their very eyes, which gets Hitomi activated in no time at all. Hitomi reaching to said company that Kana is having an interview at, and finding out that handling the Frostoid Kaii is not capable by her efforts alone to defeat one of its massive size, if having another fellow Mahou Shoujo is out of the question, she just needs someone of assistance, which its executives aren't willing to help, and Kana stepping up to track her progress remotely. And it turns out that she has more than inept knowledge on Mahou Shoujos and their applications thanks to her strong memory, which proves the difference for Hitomi to defeat the Frostoid Kaii with ease. With that, Kana is officially inducted into Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc. alongside secretary Kaede Midorikawa...and president of cross-dressing Mahou Shoujo, Koji Shigemoto...? This small company is weird...but how weird can it go? Is it finally time for the Mahou Shoujo genre to rise up and become great again? This show certainly proves that and more. |

I mean you normally expect a magical girl to fly through the skies and unleash super powerful colourful beams right? While the latter is actually true here, I kind of found it hilarious seeing the blond magic girl riding the bikes that way and giving one underappreciated stunt in the very first minute of the episode lol. By the way, another adaptation from jump, and this one looks good(?!) visually. I mean coming from JC staff, that’s actually a surprise, seeing a ton of things they’re doing this year. Though that being that, this series standardizing magical girl thing as an everyday business was really something lol. I mean magical girls are just a call away.. not in a derogatory sense xD They are the saviours of their world, so I mean it makes sense, but the people animating this didn’t have to snap that much into that “transforming to magical girl” scene… THAT THING WAS A WHOLE 2 MINS LONG LOL.. AND LOOKED STUNNING. Still in a very japanese way, the main girl who was dead tired from a bunch of rejections in interviews, got the job… in a magical girl corp. Lol. Fun start, I mean I don’t know if we’d have the same quality going forward as well, but man, this looks really good visually. Looking forward! |

Another mahou shoujo comedy. The adult cast makes this kinda Acro Trip's big sister. Nice transformation scene. Kana gives me some Aoba vibes from New Game! Yeah, a promising start. Looking forward to the next episode. |

Well it started with more action then i was expecting yet i found the episode itself pretty interesting. Those motorcycle drivers must have had insane skill tho and not only that they must have been telepathic with coordinating that kind of driving. The main at least the one i am assuming to be the main seemed to have a hard time finding work but it seems she found something that's good for her. I wonder how she will perform as a magical girl tho. |

This is the second magical girls show to air this season, but it's the best of the two by far imo. It loved it even more than I thought I would from watching the trailer! The action is epic and I love Hitomi already! I also have to point out that they are making incredibly good use of CGI. The monsters blend with the environment and the 3D effects are pretty. No complains, only the highest of praises from me! 10/10 (Let's hope the animation will be consistent throughout the series. (There is a trend of anime productions crushing lately)) |

An interesting take on the magical girl genre mixing it with scifi. While I do like the manga and have been reading it since it started, I don't really feel like watching everything again in the anime. Maybe when the anime reaches part 2 which will take a while and ofc they'll need more seasons as well. |

This is one of the ones I've been waiting for as I've been reading the manga, so I'll probably be in for the long haul for Corpo Magical Girls: The Anime. Since I already know the story from the manga I'll be focusing my critque on the anime itself. This just might be me being picky, but the animation quality seems to fluctuate quite a bit. On the one hand there were a few instances where the character animation was a bit stiff, just enough to set off my uncanny valley response. On the other hand, however, Kushigaya's two-minute transformation scene was a love letter to classic mahou shoujo, and the techno-magical SFX were amazing. I'm hoping the animators hit their stride later on and the character animation during slower scenes becomes closer to the animation during the transformation and battle scenes, because its obvious the team knows how to do magical girl anime. I liked the manga and the anime because I'm a fan of settings that blend magic and technology together, and Magiluminere has that in spades. Both the design of their uniform and the SFX gives me Nanoha vibes. I also sympathize so much with Kana-chan, I know how stressful it can be doing interview when fresh out of college. Altogether I think it was a strong start and my hope is that the animation will be more consistent and that the story will draw more people in. I'm curious to see how far into the manga the adaptation goes, because it has a lot of world building and more in-depth explanations about how the software works and how Magiluminere's engineering team and magical-girl frontliners work in tandem to create unique solutions for Kaii extermination. |

Holy shit mahou shoujo and shoujo stans in general we are eating good this season. This and Mahonare on the same day is crazy, and with Danmachi this makes 3 shows that JC staff have this season. Loved this premiere so much. An adult mahou shoujo is very welcome, haven’t had one of them since otonapre and this looks better in every way. Mahoaku I guess was also technically that, but quite a different feel. Kana, another Fairouz Ai character btw, seems great so far. I like the idea of her kinda being lost and wandering from job to job until the ideal job, being a magical girl shows up right in front of her. She and Hitomi teamwork in this first episode was great, while she didn’t get her transformation which I’m sure is coming based on the key visual, having her be Hitomi’s assistant or kind of fight manager was dope. Some cool mechanics in this one that separate it from your usual mahou shoujo. Hitomi herself is such a badass. That opening scene was some of the best animation from JC staff and if that and the big fight at the end are any indication of what we’re getting from this series I’m beyond hyped. Gyaru+adult+crass way of talking, just how I like em. Kana’s super memory is also a neat gimmick. I wonder how that’ll be incorporated into the show. Very good premiere with amazing art and animation, cool premise and adult mahou shoujo! We won! |

Very good start and I liked the India part, but it was a bit stereotype because as an Indian I know we have a lot of other language papers but mostly those a will also have an English version paper for it. So I kinda shocked to hear that she translated it from Hindi like damn. But it's okay, also the monsters in this anime is gross actually. Anyways the first episode was good and let's see what happens in the next episode. |
I need somebody who can love me at my worst No, I'm not perfect, but I hope you see my worth 'Cause it's only you, nobody new, I put you first And for you, girl, I swear I'll do the worst If you stay forever, let me hold your hand I can fill those places in your heart no else can Let me show you love, oh, I don't pretend, yeah I'll be right here, baby, you know I'll sink or swim |

Really cute show. As a fan of Cardcaptor Sakura and Madoka Magica, I love the twist of becoming a Magical Girl as a career choice. So far the characters are interesting. Kana is smart, but has a hard time getting hired in a tight job market. That adds a nice balance of realism to the magic. I am looking forward to future shows. |

Honestly I kinda really like this so far. I adore Hitomi so far. She has that kinda cockiness, but she's definitely mature enough to know when she needs help. I'm interested in where they end up taking her character. And gosh I understand the job searching grind all too well. After more than a year of job searching, I swear I'm at a company that's pretty much like that last finance company. I am also interested in seeing where they take Kana, someone who feels the need to be helpful. I, too, have that drive, but I think the challenge can be knowing your boundaries and making sure you're not being taken advantage of. Hopefully they don't try to pull a whole ick thing with Kouji. Overall, pretty fun first episode! |

Magical girl x Japanese work culture J.C. Staff is COOKING AGAIN!! I really like the CGI on the monsters, looks good to me. Animation looks good as well and no wonder the OST are so familiar, it's the same composer that did OPM. That Mahou Shoujo transformation sequence is absolutely beautiful!! At 15:55 on the episode this mf really saying "But we need company permission to let someone help!" that is the most japanese thing ever LMAO That after credit scene, President wearing what? lol Very Solid first episode!! |

I like the magical girl concept of them being young women instead of them being little girls, but seeing an old man doing a drag and wearing a magical girl outfit is something like a desecration to magical girls. Even Kana got creeped-out. I know how she feels. ![]() Anyway, the blonde girl is cool. The pink girl is okay, for now. Scumbags plot in the story: ![]() |

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

it was a solid opener to one of my favorite current manga, it shows promise and the animation is of strong quality on this first episode. The magical girl transformation and the effects while attacking the Kaii were really nice. Kind of a goofy little moment watching the two protags discuss things while Koshigaya is just standing there blasting the Kaii, but not bad. I do hope they do this manga justice as the story and development of our characters is so good, I really enjoy the small business kicking corpo ass and the long running story of regulation vs deregulation. If this opening shows a glimpse of the quality, I think we have a bright future ahead. |

Been waiting on us since I read the read just a couple of months ago and man the PHENOMENAL animation that J.C Staff is doing for this anime is great, they’ve really putting in work I was really surprised at the CG and the camera movements were cool as hell I’d be sad if it didn’t bc the manga is PEAK that’s why I’m so happy that Magilumiere is getting top quality animation🤩🔥🔥🔥 Koshigaya’s magical girl transformation was fucking PEAKKKKK like the sequence was so sparkly and girly I loved it I haven’t seen a good magical girl transformation in a long ass time Now that I see them in color form Sakuragi is fucking HOT like I always thought she was bad man she looks hot asf here for some reason same with Koshigaya, her silhouette during her transformation showed off her body outline and I forgot how thicc homegirl is which makes me wonder what Sakuragi’s transformation will look like😣😫😫😫😫😫😫 ![]() |

I was pretty hyped for this anime and this first episode did not deceived me. It felt kinda like a mix between something like Nanoha with magical girls using magitek with big explosive attack, and Bullbuster with the idea of taking a genre and putting it in the context of private corporation ( this time with magical girls instead of mecha ). The two main character seems pretty entertaining and that first episode looked good. |

Pretty good start to this series. I liked the enthusiasm of Kana continuing to try and find work no matter how many times she get's rejected. She also has a great memory which was a big help to that staff member. She also got quite the introduction to Kaii. Hitomi is definitely a fun magical girl, glad she also listen to advice of others, Kana di a great job with her. |
