Kai is a man of his word and to no surprise, he wants to protect Rinne and what she treasures.

They went for an all out battle in the season finale wtih different environments. I think it was kinda unique, even for this show. Wish they did some character development for Kai though. This show was much more heavier on lore and world fiction/building than anything else.

I mean, at least now it isn't just Rinne and Kai, but actually the entire squad. Not like much a difference was made though. Animation looked better than usual, still ass, but decent when Kai, Jeanne and other guy came in with an attack at the same time. Many attacks later and she's finally down... you would think, considering her head was fucking chopped off. But no...

... Because FUCKING SID IS HERE??? Nah, even I can admit that him pulling up was pretty epic. Then Sid going in for that slash was EVEN MOREEE EPICCCC. Rinne locking in there and coming in with the clutch was also even even even MOREE EPICCCC. Took a lot of strength, but they beat him in the end. AND WHAT THE FUCK JEANNE, WE WERE THIS CLOSE FROM A KISS WITH BEST GIRL, YES I SAID IT, AND KAI. MAN FUCK YOU. They all lived happily ever after though, ofc.

You know what? I'm gonna give the benefit of the doubt to Kei for once and go off the assumption that Project No.9, being Project No.9, FUCKED up his story badly.

Really have to feel bad for Kei, all three of his adaptions are given to some of the worst studios and shit like this is made in return... Oh well, time to wait for Kimisen to come back now.

Rinne remembering the vestiges of the hero Sid saving her, only for him to be thwarted by Last Riser, damn was she close to being saved.

And now, Kai has to execute Sid's duty of saving Rinne the same as Rikugen Kyoko's code get removed by Last Riser, though her Zero Code isn't as enough to fight against the Celestial Hero helping both Kai and Rinne escape from the monster. Even with Kyoko's attack, Last Riser proves hard to defeat, and it's only with the collective effort that they managed to take her down. But this is by no means the end of World Reincarnation, as Last Riser takes on Sid's imitation.

Last Riser copying Sid only proves even tougher for both Kai and Rinne, but thankfully it only copied his powers, whilst his will is written to Kai in every breath to steel his resolve and stop world reincarnation, with Rinne's light shining onto the entity to close the gap. And knowing that he's OK after being in a coma for 3 days, Rinne now desires more of him...which got the ire of both Reiren and Jeanne having spent an equal amount of time while he's out.

In the end, Kyoko's alright, but shrunk down to her weak and small core, and having two of the races seek a truce over the statue of the Celestial Hero, there's no doubt that World Reincarnation will still go on, and Kai and Rinne will journey on to end the Great War of the Five Races.

The best work of Kei Sazane, reduced to ashes of a horrid adaptation. What a shame.

This was a really dope finale actually. Again though, came out with so many more questions that I’m dying to have answered. Don’t get the feeling this is a two season anime sadly so we’ll have to read.

The last rider fight started off a little ass with the animation quality, but picked up halfway through. Commencing world reincarnation again and summoning Sid had my jaw on the floor. I know Jeanne is supposed to be this world line’s hero, but let’s face it Kai is clearly set up as the new Sid, so him taking on the OG and winning is a nice full circle moment.

I’m surprised Rinne was able to rationalise that she likes Kai and wants him to like her so soon considering her naïveté about the world, but cute moment with the two of them as he woke up. Jeanne breaking it up was funny, even in this world line she falls for Kai it seems. Sadly I feel like she gonna lose which annoys me because she was right there on the verge of a confession before the world reincarnation 😢

Lastly, it looks like that goddess knew a little more than she let on because she talked about the spell failing because of there only being one last riser. So there’s multiple? And what would level 2 world reincarnation have done? Also she knows a lot about Rinne’s powers that she didn’t tell them last week

Overall really liked this show honestly even with the subpar animation at times. I think it’s way better than Kimisen and God’s games we play. Genuinely interesting plot and some likeable characters. I’ll miss it

This was a decent show, but it had a massive fundamental flaw in thew writing or adaption. In almost every battle, the protagonists always stood around with their thumbs up their butts as the antagonists did all kinds of things. It wasn't until the battle was almost over, and their possible allies were pretty much destroyed that they started fighting. And this wasn't just a single occurrence. It happened in EVERY SINGLE FIGHT, up to and including the one in the last episode.

If this had been written or adapted better, it would have been a better show. However, this fundamental flaw essentially ruined any chance of it being more than a simply decent show.

Wait, it's not even a REAL victory. The Last Riser(s) are still active even with that one being destroyed. Another "Finale" that just feels like an episode. Man, almost every show the last 3 days...

Seems like we'll have to wait for Season 2 to see the rest of the content shown in the manga but not yet in the Anime.

Yeah they beat the last riser and stopped second level or whatever. Seems like the goddess statue is same as the celestial hero. Good to see Rikugen Kyouko survived and Rinne wasn't useless this time. Lol'd at Jeanne and Reiren kicking out Rinne to stop the kiss.

Now while it may seem like a lot happened in this season in reality they were repeating the exact few words in loop and the only somewhat important bit of info we got was that the last riser is the hatred/will of the world. This was bad yeah and the adaptation didn't help at all. Idk if the source is any better but this anime was way worse than KimiSen. Reiren best thing we got out of this. Liked Jeanne at first but stopped caring and lets not even talk about Rinne.

Kai was the most fit to inherit Sid’s power and will for restoration. Rinne is just too cute, I love her. It would have been amazing if she and Kai were together, they support each other so much.

Now that Last Riser was defeated and Rikugen Kyoko’s powers have been reduced, the World Reincarnation happens again. This anime could have been much more interesting, but one of the things I didn’t like was poor animation.

I hope the second season (if they decide to make it) will be better.

It was alright, the disappointment of the writing being unable to match the setting/premise has long since worn off, so it doesn't feel all that bad.

Would've been more of an interesting finale if we actually did get some sort of answer that felt like it would actually progress the story, especially since there are multiple Last Risers. Either a clue from Sid when the Last Riser copied him and his memories, or even going through that golden hole in space that Kai created to investigate the realm that the Last Riser comes from.

I will give credit to the improvements in animation this episode. Not only was the quality better, but they were clearly more ambitious with what they were trying to present which gave the fight a lot more "heart"

They completely destroyed the story, the animation was horrible, and they cut like 1/3 of the story just to reach another open ending (like...if you're gonna do that atleast make an original ending).
Normaly i rarely give an anime a rating below 5 cuz i probably would dropped before it, but this i completed because i really like the manga, and if someone is reading this, just skip this thing and read it, its like another story, if you think that this is good, its because you didn't read it.

4/10.

Mad props to Kyoko taking one for the team there.
That Lastriser was a real pest, even transforming into a copy of Cid.
Thankfully Rinne & Kai were able to destroy it for good.
I always love a good harem comedy scene.
I really hope this gets a 2nd season sometime, I though it was fantastic from start to finish.

Not much to go off here. It was okay I guess, but kind of confusing. Maybe (if there is) a second season it would be better, but for now I can't think of anything that really stands out. I thought it started of well but was fairly boring for the rest. The 'final battle' was not exactly exciting or illuminating either.

Very nice,

I would like to see a second season that explains more about the origin of Last Rizer, because I was quite lost with several things that have to do with the restart of the world.

Also I want to see more of Kai and Rinne.

A solid 8/10

Why Nobody Remembers me in this world Finished! Rating:*8.5/10* , Soundtracks 10/10 🔥🔥, Plot has lots of potential but the studio kinda ruined it with average animation and rushed adaptation. Manga had S Tier art style so ya it deserved a better studio. Need an S2!

Decent animation for something that I've read before.

Probably a forgettable anime but the manga is better imo.
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

Kind of mixed ending, and it seems like it could just go on and on with "Last Riser" apparently rising again and again.

I liked Reiren though, and she was a fun addition even if she was only in for the tail-end of the show.

Would anyone who's read the manga/novel be able to reply with a spoiler tagged version of how the story ends though please? 😬

I felt the Budget went something else between eps 6-11 straight after fought with Vanessa over. That's why not-so-big studio like Project No. 9 shouldnt take more than one anime per season if the resources isnt sufficient.

Fuck you Project 9. I actually enjoyed the storywise more than other titles i've watched this season, plus one of my fav indie band ever started their anisong debut here (Unlucky Morpheus and Elfensjón). But they ruined it with that shitty animation

Loved the art work and honestly the harem the MC built up but the story was mostly garbage. Sid this and Sid that. Weird enemy that doesn't seem to follow any logic and isn't really expanded on.

That being said would like to see a season 2 eventually. 7/10 overall.

Nota 6/10

Well, it wasn't good, average at best. It's a shame, because it had potential, and was perhaps the most promising of Kei Sazane's works. This author's big flaw is clearly the development of his characters and their charisma (although some of the designs are good), he has trouble writing really interesting characters and interesting relationships too. Everything seems superficial or developed far too quickly. Like all of a sudden Reiren is attracted to Kai or even Rinne forcing herself on Kai for example. There's nothing really natural about it.

There are some good plot ideas, but they're poorly executed, not to mention the animation, which has just gone downhill. Small teams need to stop taking action-heavy shows and stop making character deisgns in animation too complicated for the animators.

7/10 for the effort.

Really promising plot, good first episode and really beautifully artstyle. But its another one of those that just make you fall for the traditional anime youtube clickbait thumbnail.

The animation declined, the plot explanation was underwhelming, the MC literally got the most powerful weapon and does nothing about it to become powerful, and yeah generic MC.

And ZERO real explanation was given in the entire plot for the whole 12 episodes I've endured, even just a simple acknowledment on how he is the only one that survived the overwrite, wasn't even mentioned ONCE.

Everything was really bad but the artstyle is really beutiful.
