This is crazy. The battle here in Tokyo is now more about saving Utsuro's heart and soul than just saving Japan. They really built her character into someone who has fallen into despair and imo, worth investing into with all that characterization. Not going to lie, I think they also made this episode's fight kinda creative. |

Mai finally came back to her senses. Now, the Tennoji sisters are ready for the battle against the giant teddy bear. The next episode will probably be more than I can bear. 🐻 |

Rahhh this episode was incredible, one of my fave shy episodes yet! They weren’t lying when they said this was the best arc. Shy never beating the lesbian allegations lmao. Idk how she ended up on top of Mai there, but it was really sweet seeing her let Mai know she’s not alone and that she can relate to her. I love how self aware Teru has become as of late and it just shows how much she’s grown as a person thanks to all her battles Pepesha and the gang showing up finally! It’s cute how Tokimaru getting injured is what brings Mai back to her senses. I always got the sense there was a love triangle brewing between the 3 of them, I thought Tokimaru leaned towards Ai but maybe it was actually Mai based on his “I’d fight everyone here for you” comment lol. Even Ai was shocked by how passionate he is And the Tennoji sisters are finally reunited! Even the Holy Mother Bear plan stands no chance against them. So nice seeing them fight alongside each other and being honest with one another again. Can’t wait to see how they deal with the black fog next episode |

So it looks like Ai finally got through to Mai and them being combined helped Ai see her sister's heart and memories and therefore understand her better. While I'm not sure if Mai's ending will be a happy one at least she feels better having her older sister at her side and watching both of them teaming up to take on the giant teddy bear felt pretty good even if that sounds ridiculous (referring to the giant teddy bear). |

Teru got a little too close to Utsuro/Mai there Lmao. Literally the whole episode I was just screaming this is too good to be true. I was literally expecting one of Stigma's group or Stigma himself to show up and kill her or like idk reset her memory's or something but while they did show up nothing bad happened. Yet. I really hope Utsuro/Mai makes it out of this without dying cause after Tzveta dying I really feel like no ones safe tbh. Really tho other than Teru Utsuro/Mai has become my favourite character, she's so compelling and well written imo. Ai too but I like Utsuro/Mai way more. Assuming Utsuro/Mai makes it out of this alive I hope she keeps the getup because she looks badass af with it on. But that's very wishful thinking and honestly wouldn't make much sense Kufufu is just done with everything lmao, Just write her out of the story at this point, Girl deserves a break. Fully expecting a Stigma moment soon. ill be surprised if we just don't see him again this season |

With Ai extracted from Utsuro, her transformation comes undone as Teru attempts to talk to her as her conviction, her Talk no Jutsu has gotten better at showing her shyness, as a way to also buy time for the other heroes and Tokimaru to reach her. Clearly, without Ai, Mai's defenses come breaking down, and this is exacerbated by Tokimaru telling her the written plea of Ai wanting her twin sister to be accepted back into the village, no matter how many times it takes to keep on praying for her return. The kindness of Ai's heart against the darkness of Mai's heart, even the villains too all gather to break the black orb. The worst fears realized when Stigma's fog of fear leaks out to the public and starts to take over innocent people turning into monsters, and the one to stop them...is Utsuro. Unfortunately, Kufufu's laziness may be rather reluctant on Doki's end, and the triggering of their Holy Mother Bear plan combining both and Inori's power together with the Tennoji sisters finally working together, Mai realizing the wrong of her ways, alongside Ai's power, they're now united in one heart and spirit that even surprises the heroes. It'd be interesting to see the Tennoji sisters deal with Amamaririku instead of the heroes, for once. |

@SHINOBI-03 You mean when creators actually had balls and weren't afraid of the Twitter mob? I'm absolutely in love with Teru (I have her figurine) but I fully acknowledge this show isn't gonna stand the test of time and won't be talked about in the future despite being two cour It's too safe |

@EcchiGodMamster I mean Season 2 has been a big improvement from season 1 but do agree that even for me as a writer this shit is getting on my nerves. I respect backstory and building but some of this is just bullshit filler dialogue. It took way too long for Mai to fully turn babyface. |

Pretty sure she was crying when she left the village because she burned it down in an attempt to massacre everyone even though she didn't want to she still thought she had no other choice after trying to kill her sister and killing her animal best friend and it's family but sure we can call that being lonely |

@EcchiGodMamster This one of the few times of," Bro just fight already," makes a lot of sense. It's one thing to advance a story and develop the characters it's another repeating the same shit for the fifth time. I wish the dub was caught up as the cast for this is underrated. :( |

@EcchiGodMamster Those shows were kind of not well animated and had a short shelf life. I respect what they're going for here but all of what we saw with Ai and Mai could have been three episodes tops. There is a way to do without overstaying its welcome. I like seeing ladies throwdown but the fight gotta have weight and meaning to it this one was fill with a little too much talking at times. Also, I'm convinced Shy and Chinese dude are gay and you can't tell me otherwise. This dub is pretty good. I'm just mad that Pepska doesn't have a Russian accent but Stardust's accent is top tier. |

@MasterHavik several of those shows are STILL being milked to this day, some show up in collabs and occasionally get figurines to this day, as well as pachinko machines.... this show is only going to be remembered or shit... even known about by people like us i still see ecchi battle anime gifs being posted wherever, especially twitter, even shows from 10-20+ years ago those shows actually took risks and did things that were controversial, you know, things that help series get noticed... the most controversial thing this show does is show sexy shots of her ass this series even being a new one isn't even being talked about NOW... its mostly gonna be forgotten by next year.. its TOO safe |

@EcchiGodMamster I mean we gotta keep in mind this kind of a kid's show in tone and aim. It's very childlike with how characters act. There is a reason why we don't have a lot of adults. Also Shy isn't too safe...that's how Shy is as Shy wants to be another MHA and other battle shonen with the difference being their man character is a woman instead of man. I don't think people losing clothes would make it better but better pacing and better character writing would. It has some parts to it but is lacking something that makes it unique they want this to be a big hit with how they draw Shy and Pepska but Shy is lacking that punch to make it the next big thing. It will get a season 3 though. What has really helped this show is how they have developed shy. I love how they have handled her this season. |

@EcchiGodMamster I mean you don't need to cause drama to be popular. Look at Re:Zero for example. Another good example is To Your Eternity and Vinland Saga. You can just be a really good show without having to do what Goblin Slayer in its episode 1....just to lay an egg with season 2. Same goes for Shield Hero season 2....which thankfully kind of got saved by season 3 and 4. So it's cool in theory but being really good like a Tower of God, Solo Leveling, Viral Hit, and Oshi No Ko(Yes I know Oshi No Ko doesn't hold back with its social commentary and how it presents its characters but it's still a really good show on top of that.). Let me ask this. Do you think an Arifuerta is only getting sequels because of the drama it caused by flat out disrespecting the source material? |

@EcchiGodMamster I mean it is in a crowded market so that isn't shocking. Also Re:Zero hook you with a very good story and actually did the timeloop storytelling correctly which isn't easy to pull off. To keep this about shy though....it doesn't need Shy getting naked as we have seen a cheap pop only lasts for so long and Shy doesn't need to go there it needs better character writing and pacing. Those are the flaws I'll just roll my eyes if Kufufu and Shy were naked. We have seen with a Kobayashi Maid Dragon you don't need to do that to keep someone's attention and characters like Lucoa dominate the rule 34 scene. Shy's main audience is clearly kids due to its tone, setting and ages of characters.(Same goes for MHA too.). |

Shy's main audience is clearly kid due to its tone, setting and ages of characters.(Same goes for MHA too.). this is a cope no one is talking about this show and no one will be in the future, if it weren't for her sexy outfit it'd be even more forgettable to most people... i'm not gonna sugar coat the obvious truth lol im trying to be realistic here, even if it had better this and that, the fact is most people aren't gonna watch it cause it won't even catch their attention and even if it did, they'd probably get bored after an episode or 3 and no, the majority of MHA watchers are not kids/teens, the majority are adults just like most anime, it just seems like its kids/teens because teens tend to gravitate only to shounen |

@EcchiGodMamster Oh trust me similar to Spy x Family the fandom is made up of young kids. It looks like adults because me and you are legit in our 30s at this point. There is adult fans but shonen is always made for kids. The same goes for even some action cartoons back in the day. Also it isn't cope as I don't see Shy as some all time great series but I feel with better pacing and character writing you would have a lot more people interested as one of the flaws to the anime medium is dragging out plot points and arcs for profit instead of getting to the point. While I do agree it doesn't have anything memorable outside of Shy and maybe Peska. I think Shy has enough here to keep running for a good bit. |

Teru getting on top of Mai like that lol I got a little teary. It just seems nice to have someone care and love unconditionally even if you fuck up. That is something really rare these days it seems. I like seeing Kafufu in low energy mode. I vibe with he better there EcchiGodMamster said: even in japan, they just recently did a poll... no... the majority of anime watchers are adults in their 20s and 30s.... no... its not mostly kids... lol I saw a similar poll before the ones who watch the most time wise are in their 30s. @traed You'll be surprise what they will allow in kid's content these days. They can just say it's a part of her powers. LOL! It's still the aim though even if we got a Russian stereotype that kind of gets on my nerves. |

@EcchiGodMamster I mean being talk about is nice but even when you're bad but somehow derp your way to a season 2 it can happen. The amount of merch moving is going to be deciding factor because that is what they look at. Chained Soldier flopped like a fish in bluray sells but people bought the merch. We got a season 2 for a show I consider to be very average in its plot, animation, and execution. |

@MasterHavik are you really impying that Shy is anywhere near comparable to Slave? Slave was being hyped up as "the next Highschool DxD"... its an EXTREMELY simp worthy series.... only suffering from the shitty adaptation of s1 the only people simping for Shy are people like me |

@EcchiGodMamster I mean I like it too. It's not comparable to Slave. That's just an example of you don't need to be super good to get a season 2.(I don't hate Chained Solider, I just found to be very average with a poor main character.) I think Shy has done enough to get a season 3 in my eyes at least. |

Lil sister will need a LOT of time for rehab. You can't fix that with a simple single talk. It'll take years for her to return to normal. Meanwhile, things getting out of hand outside the black sphere. |

I'm a bit disappointed by where this whole thing seems to be heading. The author had a much better path they could've taken to both restore the sisters' relationship and forgive Mai's sins, while simultaneously making sure she didn't just get pardoned for killing a bunch of people. |

Why was little Ai so alright with her sister stabbing her and leaving lmao? Also, destroying the place and slicing people it's not a small problem. Some characters forgive too easily this one. |
