| Welp, I have to say, Lemon had the guts to confess her feelings. Impressive imo as it never came easy for her. Episode was also important to dive more into the main casts' past including Lemon's. At half way point, it seems this episode moved on to the next step for these character relationships. |

| Lemon we love you so much. You deserve the world! This was a much needed development moment for her to finally move on from Mitsuki. So many feelings they both had kept bottled up for all these years and while she may not win him romantically, I’m glad they cleared the air both admitted to liking each other at different times and just started a new relationship as friends again. People and feelings change and that’s ok, it doesn’t make the love Mitsuki felt for Lemon any less than what he feels now for Chihaya, just different. It’s so cool seeing a romance anime handle this stuff so maturely. Lemon’s seiyuu did an awesome job during that scene in the park too. She really brings the character to life, and that goes for all the staff on this one. Don’t let Chihaya find out about the handholding tho 😂 “Yanami-san, please hurry up and get a boyfriend” nah Nukumizu has had it with the confession bait with Anna at this point lmao. I really hope they stay friends because man a platonic relationship would be so refreshing. Great episode as usual |

| Jealousy. It's something that hurts a lot, even more if it's jealousy towards someone who got to be with the one you love. Poor Lemon was clearly hurting, and thankfully Nukumizu was there for her to be able to vent her feelings to someone to. It okay Lemon. Everyone needs to let it out once in a while :) That whole scene with Lemon and Mitsuki "confessing" their feelings... </3 It was hard to admit it, but Lemon finally admitted to the fact that yeah, big forehead-san is the one for him and that they both need each other. It took a lot of courage for her to do that. I'm proud of her. It's not a happy ending necessarily, it's another side a happy ending, I guess you could say. And with that, that wraps up Lemon's losing heroine story, and volume 2. An we once again soldify the fact why Nukumizu is the ULTIMATE losing heroine out of all of them, with Yanami asking Mitsuki to pretend to be her boyfriend instead of Nukumizu.... Bro got rejected by her twice... TWICE LMAO. New ED by Komari next week will be nice and all, but nothing can top this one for IMO... we'll just have to wait and see thoe. P.S. Someone on the staff REALLY loves Fujimoto. From Chainsaw Man volumes, to Look Back, even Goodbye Eri made it lols.  |

| That was painful, they both liked each other but missed the timing. Now if only this was written by Seo Kouji or Sasuga Kei, things sure would have taken a different turn. When Ayano said that makes me happy lemon it remined me of the manga title "are you happy lemon". Kaju's such a great girl, so sweet. That ending scene btw, poor Nukumizu, oof. |

| Wholesome in a strange way. It is fairly sad, and they did have feelings for eachother, but I think the other 2 are more likely to succeed in the long-term (not saying Lemon wouldn't workout, but already having long-term mutually beneficial objectives is good way to sustain [healthy] relationship. I can kind of relate to the MC, he really is a background character getting pulled in to teenage drama. It's not bad, but it's weird/unusual and counter to our/his natural state. 4/5, was a tad bit lost, but understand all is good for those 3 now <3 |

| "The Other Side of a Happy Ending" has such a raw impact to it as an episode title. Don't think I've been this stunned by a title card reveal of all things before. Part of me wants to believe Anna was just teasing Nukumizu on purpose with her request but eh. Our man's endured worse. |
| Mitsuki, Chihaya and Lemon are fine, the three of them are on good terms and there are no problems at all. Even though Lemon can't be Mitsuki's girlfriend, she still supports him along with Chihaya. For Lemon, seeing Mitsuki happy is enough to make her happy too, but we know that's a lie. Lemon is one of the strongest girls ever.  |

| That was very bittersweet. Lemon confesses all of her true feelings but in the grand scheme of their relationship, it doesn't matter since Ayano and Asagumo's goal is their future so theirs won't break easily. I'd say Lemon's story is more realistic and grounded that it could happen in real life which makes me feel it more. |

| This was handled in such a mature way I was honestly kind of thrown off cause of the show's goofy nature that it could take it in this direction, just a very bittersweet and blunt conversation to provide closure on a romance that was so close to being. I also really adore how they have handled Nukumizu through all 3 girl's heartbreaks, he's there as support but he's not at all some unique savior in their lives and ultimately the girls themselves are the ones who are being proactive over it he just kind of watches over them or gives em a little push which makes their relationships feel so much more genuine regardless of whether this is building towards a romantic one or a platonic one, though I wont deny I really hope the series holds off on any love triangles between the girls and just focuses in on just Anna if they go that direction. |

| @gauravb28 You overthink it. The word doesn't mean anything if he doesn't do any build-up or reaffirming it for her. The convo goes like: N: "I... Probably going to go for a walk a bit." A: "At this hour?" N: "I mean, the moon looks kinda pretty." They're talking about Lemon before and she understands that he's going to look for Lemon. How does that convo imply that he confessed to her? |

The end was so hilarious anna asking nukumisu that she needs a boyfriend and him thinking she is gonna ask me out and getting nervous but watching this series i definitely knew she will say to him to find someone else but mannn if she really asked nukumizu out to behave like a boyfriend it would be soo good but it's fine for now
| @Anshul_003 Too bad it was probably a one time gag and they won't follow up on it. Next two or three eps will probably be about Komari handling her rejection. |

| It was like I was watching the finale or epilogue of some standalone adaptation of a romance LN or visual novel. Ayano is still a bit flat, of course, but Lemon felt like a full-fledged childhood friend from a classic '00s or early '10s rom-com. @Swagernator They are teenagers in high school, I think they have enough brains to already understand something. Not to mention that he was her first love and the love of her life at the moment. It's a little cynical to just say "hey, your experience isn't that important, you'll get over it little by little." @Suginami85 If you are talking about their ship tease and obsessive hints about the perception of them as a couple, then this is already a running gag. |

| Seems like we reached the ending of Lemon's arc. Honestly from the start of the show it felt like the story was pushing her to be Nukumizu's potential love interest but not sure anymre. Anna keeps being strongest contender for best girl of the year. |

| End of Lemon's arc, why!? I have to admit, I was pretty disappointed, especially after the first arc was so good. Most of these last 3 episodes felt really rushed, but the second half of this episode had a great pace and turned out much better Lemon's love story is over for good, and what's both intriguing and heartbreaking is that Ayano had feelings for her. Things could have turned out differently if Yakishio had just made the first move. The first arc had 4 episodes, while this one only had 3, so it's no surprise the first one was much better. Now we just have to wait and see what they’ll do with the other 5 episodes. |

| Well, that got really heavy early up but was handled professionally throughout. I wasn’t expecting such a deep dive into this one but I’m glad with how things ended, over all. Lemon-chan managed to get the closure albeit in a rough way but she seemed to be happy with a certain takeaway, so I can live with that. Becoming buddy-buddy with Asagumo-san though, that’s ending it on a really positive note, hey! Next seems to be the perfect premise for the Nukumizu-Yanami to take off! I can’t be the only one who saw it that way, right? Cheeky remark of Nukumizu early up on the lack of confession from Lemon-chan in the previous year saying your one to say was hilarious. She clearly loves drama though, that last bit ought to have been, “could you help me look for someone else?”, not the very matter they just resolved xD. Jokes aside, there seems like a lot of story to still tell and I feel 4 episodes may not do justice… Yeah, let’s just hope I’m wrong, lol. |

| Lemon is a great character, she's best Makeine girl to me so far. I'm glad she resolved everything with Ayano and Chihaya, though her feelings probably won't disappear. Also, I kind of expected that from Anna at the end, but it's still rough for Nukumizu not even being pretend boyfriend material. Poor guy got friend zoned hard. |
| Diabolical, you can't convince me that there is no subtle traces of evil in Yanami, surely this just can't be simply underlined as borderline trolling on her part, like she has to know this guy is a simp-son for her, sure not in a bootlicking obvious way but it shows he feels some type of way about her, so why the emotional trauma on my boy, Nuk needs a purpose ish is gut wrenching to watch he's not even an after thought, no amount of rizz patching and buffs is saving that, if he does hats off, ummo be front row studying that come back. |

| This was less goofy and more serious on drama. It resolved Lemons arc pretty nicely. I think this ends vol 2 ? I thought they gonna do 4 episode per volume for 3 volume. So maybe the will adapt the 4th one with Shikiya cover too. 1st volume was better but this is also great. They cooking each week and animation quality damn.. Lemon is really good girl. She was sad just cause she had thought of cheating. That shrine scene was really rough for her and it was very well executed. Nukumizu also doesn't really involve himself and let things play out while still being there. Mitsuki was much better this time. Atleast he reciprocate Lemons feelings and opens up to her. Kinda bad timing and luck for Lemon atleast she can find peace after resolving things with Chihaya and Mitsuki. Kaju got little screentime better than nothing ig. It's not enough to hear her weird Brocon stories in promos need more. Also yeah fuck that blue haired loser glutton. How dare she play with a boys heart. My guy thought he had a chance for a bit. I had a guess something like that about to happen. He is already getting dragged in this dramas now this shits keep happening. He deserves better cause Nukumizu is him. |
