Tama fighting this fight for his father is not surprising. She always had a prideful personality with confidence. This fight was more personal for her than ever though.

And kinda interesting to know more about her past. In these two recent episodes, we found out more about her than ever.

I mean, I get why the grab these otherworlders and make them heroes, because at least at first they have being a hero in mind and slowly after begin to become the otherworlders we know and hate. But this orange hair guy was evil to begin with.... so why grab him to become a hero in the first place when he already is a basically a villain in his actual world...?

Whatever, he was defeated in the end, that's all that matters.

Rahhh Tama masterclass! Best episode so far no doubt. Tama finally accepting her own destiny and being her own person rather than just filling the void left by Leon and awakening the divine beast crest! She was so badass today and even though I still think she was a lil dumb for running in without a plan last episode, it all worked out in the end

Raibara was truly irredeemable in the purest sense of the word and his death was honestly too light, what a piece of shit. It’s rare to see a spoiled rich kid get isekai’d, even in his past life he was killing maids and innocent people.. no idea how he got selected as a hero. I love Dazai straight up telling him his story wasn’t even worth being written about and him just going nuts after that.

Waldelia is back!! She just effortlessly took out Kaibara and shut him up for good. But that loneliness is still in her eyes.. I hope Dazai and the others can get her to open up some day. Killing the people that killed her father will never bring her true joy.

Really sweet end to the episode with the king finally accepting Tama going off with Dazai and the gang, part of his fear was definitely rooted in losing another kid but seeing how close knit this group are gave him the confidence he needed. Can’t wait for this groups next adventure

My guess is it follows a similar logic to cautious hero. It focuses on who has the possibility for powers and who doesn’t. It doesn’t put into account the morality of the person. That is how so many terrible people were given the abilities they have.

Honestly, it makes sense why Senshi didn’t send this guy back to his world. He lives in an echo chamber. Since he couldn’t struggle, he couldn’t learn. If hypothetically, his parents let their son go to jail for attempting to kill the maid, he might have turned into a better person. Either way, he got his just desserts from the demon lord’s daughter and got vaporized.

Interesting, even tho this episode makes sensei more overpowered, but I like that he has his own rules so we don't really know how exactly the Other Worlders will be defeated, even I also didn't expect demon lord's daughter to vaporize that trash

Yeah in hindsight it was better for this guy to have been killed and stopped in this world rather than be sent back to his world and cause more havoc and murder.

Tama's backstory was good and I liked the amount of time they took for it. On that note I'm curious both about Annette's backstory and also the demon lord's daughter's backstory which we should get since Sensei is also intrigued by her.

I was questioning was would be the point of sending that guy back to the real world since he had no redeeming qualities and was just a monster and surprisingly Sensei isn't just going to portal everyone out, it wasn't even so much of a power up but more of breaking her inner seal, really looking forward to how every "battle" will be handled and resolved.

Nice! This time Sensei buffed Tama with his book, instead of targeting the villain.
Gluttonous bastard died which is good. He didn't deserve to live after so many deaths. I suspect the last otherworlder also killed people, thus didn't deserve to be transported back to original world, but the show made it look like he didn't kill anyone so it's ok, I guess.

Anyways, glad to see Tama back in the party!

Tama's story was by far the best part of the anime so far.
Good to see "Storyteller" can do more than send people back to their world, as this guy has no redeemable quality like the previous dude and straight up deserved to die.

As Sensei said, Kaibara's story is boring. He was just a millionaire who had everything and had everything done for him, but he felt empty and started hurting people he considered inferior. It’s a good thing they didn’t send him back to the world; that guy wasn't worth it.

I suspected that Sensei's ability wasn’t as simple as sending people back to another world. In this case, he buffed Tama, although she always had the divine beast’s mark. The good thing is that Tama is still part of the group.

P.S. I think the ones responsible for bringing heroes should check their profiles before summoning them.

@Narizo I think his powers is more to change the continuity of people’s story. In the previous episode, he redacted the idea of him getting isekaied or changed it to have him return. In this episode, Tama’s ability was unsealed after her father sealed it. This feels more like he is either retconing previous aspects of people’s story or writing a new story for them.

So glad I stuck with this.

Hated the first few episodes but, three or four more episodes in, and Sensei's personality now makes a lot more sense. Plus the quirky comedy has really settled into its groove and so the show is now kicking some major ass.

Overall, it's turned out to be one of my favorites of the season -- unusual and with truly unique characters.

And this was a cool episode.

I guess Kaibara isn’t getting the reverse Isekai treatment after all, I had a feeling since he was very far gone and had done things he could not redeem himself for. And his reason for being fucked in the head? Man was the son of a rich man, but a sad son of a rich man, I know anyone can be depressed but this did not make me feel for him in the slightest lol. And they had us in the first half ngl when he revived after utilizing the power of the dark lord who’s flesh he consumed before, but in came Waldelia to shut that down real quick, and even as he laid there with his head severed, Kaibara was still talking that hot shit, I’ll give him one thing, at least he stayed true to himself to the end lol.

Besides Kaibara, I enjoyed Tama’s moment to shine in this episode when she finally kicked some ass thanks to Sensei, looks like there’s more to his power than returning otherworlders to their original worlds, he can even strengthen people with his stories too, very nice. And thankfully Tama is here to stay after her character arc, I figured it would be silly of them to drop her after all that lol, it was a good arc, she’s more than just a silly cat girl now, looking forward to more moments with her and the rest of the gang going forward, and if the next otherworlder is as psycho as Kaibara.

@Narizor Truly. They have done a terrible job & brought a bigger danger than than the demon lord was to their World. And no way to send these monsters back. Glad this one got his just desserts. You don't brag about eating her Father, Moron. Well, she took out the trash.

This episode was great. They created a truly despicable villain, and gave him a deserving end, he didn't deserve to be sent back. A nice subversion of Sensei using his powers in a different way and letting Tama have the spotlight.

@leonardobarba Yeah Tama/Matilda is super sweet character. Loved her back story and even before this episode I really liked how caring she is of her friends. Like that time Tama helped Anette calm down with breath exercises after having a nervous break down from Nir taking her money. I thought that was funny but it also demonstrated how sweet and caring Tama is.

As for the episode, it was fantastic! Has a bit of everything and then some more! There was even the return of Waldelia, she is so awesome and her dynamics with sensei is intriguing.

So I am really happy with this adaptation. I think more folks should give it a try as it seems a tad overlooked at this time.

So the Kaibara guy was just a spoilt brat. Not so well written a character since him being like that doesnt exactly make that much sense. Someone given everything would not know how to appreciate it as much and may bore more easily particularly if alone which also is reasonable it would mess with their head if having no friends, but there is endless things they can do unless their parents are strict, i guess it's just since to explain someone like that would require a much more complex backstory.

Tama can actually fight better now huh

So many dragon quest references lol. I agree with sensei, that guy's story is super boring but Tama's was good (I am also a writer). Glad to see how her story wrapped up, but the only surprising thing was the demon lord's daughter showing up just to run off. Sensei is a cool dude and I think we caught a hint of possible redemption for the poor demon girl.

Great episode again! Not only they didn't go with same repeatable story, but everything was so perfect. Not rescuing that bad other worlder. It was not Sensei who defeated him, but Tama and Waldelia and everything had own strong reason for this not like in other anime when things just happen out of the blue and without any logic.
This anime is really underrated.

A good episode with a very interesting villain's background, and Tama's flashback is very cool too, showing how Tama's brother doesn't have any skill in martial arts, while Tama does, but because she is a girl, she isn't allowed to praticate.

Tama's time to shine, after being always hampered by her father's regressive growth against her tomboyish personality, now faces Kaibara and his OP skills, though Sensei, Annette and Nir are not far behind. Without her brother Leon, her kingdom is a lost cause, but Kaibara is the irredeemable figure at best, being a master being fed the best of the best, but having no thrill of his life, until he tried killing to escape his predicament, which is how he surfaced in the fantasy world. Thankfully, Sensei came just in time to stop Matilda from being eaten, though he finds no pleasure writing his story to banish him.

Instead, Sensei has an ill-fated story written for Tama, because she is still bound by the past of her family's circumstances, until she makes a choice to forge her own path, unlocking the crest of the divine beast, powers which were locked by her dad due to his over-protectiveness. With the awakening of her powers, Senshi's work is done, and all that's left is for Tama to defeat Kaibara once and for all, since bringing him back to Earth will not help resolve the need to kill. Instead, being one of the 7 Heroes and granted the power of the Dark Lord, it's as easy as being taken down by Wahdelia since he ate her father to begin with. Maybe someday, Sensei will write her story.

Tama proves why her character proves efficiently, and her father begrudgingly finally allowing her to continue the journey with Sensei, it's a way to atone for the wrong of the family to not see her untapped potential. Tama is awesome for taking down Gluttony.

I kind of love that as I watched this I thought the evil Other Worlder's backstory was noticeably weaker than the previous one, Kaibara was just was just a boring affluenza kid, and that actually proved to be a crucial plot point to how Sensei used his power this episode. They pulled that off so well and it helped keep Sensei interesting instead of just teleporting everyone back.

Tama showing up to once again lose with no plan was a little disappointing, I sort of expected at least a little more from her. Oh well, the power up was neat and I don't mind that Sensei has the ability to do that it's quite fitting for him actually.

@the_mantis42 Didn't they say that truck-kun only target people who have miserable life ? Basically, to get Isekai, the condition is to be sicked of your own world and to want to kill yourself.
Basically, you need to reject your own world to be allowed in another.
In a way, it's "nice", since, at least, you're not going to isekai an amazing dude with a good job, parents, wife, kids, friends, money....
but,
That also means you will only get seriously troubled people.
Now, what's better ? Getting mainly scum or robbing people of their amazing life ?
That's the question.
