| The return of VN anime adaptations, this time with Grisaia series developer Frontwing on Atri, how I've longed to see VNs adapted into anime, even if they've had a rather horrendous reputation in the past. It's pretty much the beginning plot point of the VN where the one-legged prosthetic of young man Natsuki Ikaruga, living with Catherine and Minamo Kamishiro, finds a young girl encapsulated within a capsule within a sunken city from rising oceanic levels. And the finding awakens her, leaving him rather shocked and rising his small ship to the surface, only to fall into the ocean again and be saved by the same Humanoid girl giving him a kiss as CPR. Upon her retrieval, Catherine contenplates selling her away, though the Humanoid Atri reveals that she has lost her memories, amidst her Master of Nonka Yachigusa passing away just some time after, and only recognizes the people in front of her as her owners, most particularly Natsuki, who dresses her up so her price could fluctuate in the midst of selling her to help get a better prosthetic leg. And within all of this, Atri knows that she's being sold, but has a mission from Nonka...that she forgot. Still, Catherine is nonchalant on helping Atri find a buyer for her, as Natsuki worries on what to do, on his one able leg, which was the constant nightmares of his past, until Atri came along to be his other leg. Nogizaka46's OP (serving as the ED) is good, though what will be its pairing with visuals. It would be an interesting approach to how Atri would be adapted into anime. |

| Yeah, visual novel adaptations are either a complete hit or a total miss. That is for the fact because it doesn’t even take them seconds to introduce girls around, who, as the educated guess would tell, are kind of fawning over the main guy, for apparently no reason. Sometimes it looks fun and good, and the other times… yeah like this one, I mean we literally saw guy and his trauma minutes ago but the next thing we see is, some girl who’s kind of clinging to him even in this secluded as fuck place lol… … and him finding yet another girl IN THE DEPTHS OF OCEAN. We should be serious with that submarine expedition to the site of the Titanic wreck which ended up in a disaster, who knows what might be waiting for us there lol. Anyway, Atri is as humanoid as humanoids go in anime. She got her new master, and now maybe the guy would learn about the meaning of life from her.. maybe, I mean that’s how it goes in these kinda series lol. Not so sure about this one, but yeah, visually, at least it’s looking good. |

| i was getting hyped up watching the anime--so happy to see my favourite VN get adapted!! good animation all around, and TROYCA managed to capture the mood of the original source, i especially loved the ruined city! music almost felt 1-1 with the original bgm that matsumoto did even for a short vn, i do hope 13 episodes is enough. but i have high hopes :) |

When the robot waifu from the bottom of the sea has code so sophisicated that a "no bulli" program comes pre-installed You already know our guy isn't letting her get sold but I'm curious how he'll talk Catherine out of easy money. |
| Like the setting and visuals looked really good, specially underwater scenes, fascinating. Atri's so precious, must protect her. Minamo's nice too. MC for now needs to get his stuff together. I sure hope this won't be heartbreaking. The ED song which is the OP was really good. |

| Troyca been in fine form ever since overtake a few seasons ago. This premiere looked great, been hearing a lot of good things about it from VN fans for a while just haven’t got around to playing it, but the anime feels very well paced, directed and gave us just enough to make me want more of the story. Not to mention it looks gorgeous! Already got a few theories I’m working with for what Atri’s mission is and Natsuki’s backstory.. can’t wait for more. Is it wrong to pick up girls in an ocean? Pretty convenient that amidst all the rubble down there, Atri’s cryotube was perfectly preserved. Oh well who needs logic in my post apocalyptic romance? Atri is adorable and looking at everything the MC has been through, she’s the literal and metaphysical leg he’s needed to stand on for a while. Instantly brightened the mood of everyone in the show when she arrived, her childlike wonder and humour is exactly what everyone needed. It’s pretty funny that she can remember the Robot anti discrimination statutes but not what Natsuki grandmother created her for lol. Although based on the bond they’re already forming and his flashback, it was likely to protect/help him even though she came off as disappointed he left the academy in his memories. Can already tell this’ll be a tearjerker. I got some Kamisama ni natta hi vibes from this and Atri feels like Hina.. Saturdays are great this season, so much good stuff 🙏🏾 |

| So this is one of that tearjerker VN adaptations, it has been a long time since i watch one of these, and it is a post apocalyptic settings. Hope it is good. |
| This feels like a show that could be really hit or miss, especially because it's a VN adaptation, I come in ready for it to be a tearjerker. Pretty solid premiere though, as it was well animated, and the atmosphere was really chill, perfect for a seaside setting. Some promise here, and definitely a show to look out for this season. |

| First time I watch an anime I've played the VN before so it's a new feeling for me. It's so much faster compared to the VN lol but it's not rushed or anything so it's fine. All the caracters are pretty much the same except maybe for catherine who's more joyfull in the anime. |

| I'm not sure if Natsuki realized it but Atri saved his life twice, first when he was in the submarine and then when he jumped into the water and towards the end she offered to be his leg so I think he will try to keep her. On that note maybe he will find a way to make money with her to appease Catherine as I'm sure she'll be upset. I thought this first episode was great and I didn't know that it is based off of a visual novel, cool. |

| @Apreggi Yeah, same here. A lot of people are excited and I'm just...not seeing it? The MC is your typical brooding MC, and while Atri is cute, but I'm also not a fan of the lolrandom saccarine-cutesy deredere MPDG types. The childhood friend is in a similar boat. The older lady (forget her name) is cool though. |

ATRI seems a fun character with the certified ahoge, I like that. The animation from Troyca looks impressive and this looks promising. All things that has been set up in the first ep are interesting at least. I really need to know how their relationship will develop and her memory. |
