The war has finally come to an end.

By handing over the secret potion to the Imperial Army, the battle came to an end. Though there were casualties, Parabellum saw many of their kind evolve as a result of the conflict. Additionally, the prisoners were released, and those who wished were allowed to join Parabellum temporarily. However, they were dissatisfied with the treatment, which was lower than that of goblins. Thus, Ogarou decided that they would fight one-on-one... Meanwhile, Ogarou began initiatives to improve the base's comfort, test synthesized abilities, and even engage in farming to increase self-sufficiency in food production. Amidst these efforts, the withdrawal of the Imperial Army commenced.

Ogarou has made some new discoveries... who knows what he'll use them for.

Ogarou gained new skills, improved his abilities & also helped others in training & is now off with his girls to the human residence.

One of them just had to turn into a fujoshi lmao. Anyway Ogrou doing stuff as usual and having fun while at it. I really hope the human girls will stick around with him no matter what. They finally went to the outside world, a new adventure begins.

A lot of evolutions and some new recruits to the village. Some were temporary, while some are permanent members. We got some more lore about the world, true names.

If someone learns your true name, they can cast a curse on you. Akita, true name Akikaze-no-Tsuji is an example. He’s the leader of the Kobolds. Some of the new recruits had quite the attitude, and some other dude went from hitting on Dhami to becoming fruity when Ogrou healed him.

This synthesis ability seems cool. Him learning this must have been skipped over. I did some research and found that apparently he learned this on Day 80, but Episode 7 starts on Day 81 and Episode 6 ends on Day 77 or so. Either way he’s able to combine abilities into other objects (or himself) to create new ones. That exoskeleton could be combined with some fire ability to create fire armor for example. And those synthesized abilities can be combined with others. I mean, he create that centipede with his skeletons and his blood replication. He can create a giant guardian for the village when he’s away.

I wonder how things will change now that the village has split off and what awaits Ogrou and the women as they head to the Garrison City of Trient.

I've been grippling with the laws of diminishing returns with this anime for a while now, every new episode is shittier than the last, been srsly contemplating dropping the whole thing and I guess today was the final straw, pun intended, the straw hat in this episode made the decision a whole lot easier.

Honestly, I don't care anymore. Even though it started fine, now is just narration after narration after narration with degrading animation. No actual battles, character interaction... Leave it to Studio Deen to butcher yet another adaptation. Not that original source is masterpiece to begin with.

I'm getting Monty Python wibes with that orgy thing. "And then there was much rejoicing" and similar punches.
It's hilarious in a shounen power fantasy.

Hobme eyes are nightmare fuel holy shit

Ogrou told bro miss me with that gay shit 😭 beat his ass so bad he fell in love with him lmao. The new recruits were pretty cool. After losing so many members last episode, the village’s forces could definitely stand some new people.

Of course we get another sex scene, shouldn’t have watched this with my mom, lol.

Finally the story is getting going and we’re leaving the village. The village shenanigans were nice but it got a little claustrophobic. Ready to see Ogrou explore the world and learn more about those 7 crazy strong people. Hopefully the city of Trient is interesting

Animes that do not work for me I usually drop after 3-4 episodes, but they stay pretty consistent in quality. They are just not for me.

But Re:Monster is one of the first anime where I started out with liking it a lot, and then it fell off a cliff in such a dramatic fashion I am genuinely surpised it can be this bad.

Finally, Ogrou sent the women whom he first met to the place where they were initially headed, the garrison city of Trinet.

The war has ended and a log of newcomers have been brought in goblin community waiting to be trained by Ogrekichi and Dhami. Earthe and Bloodsato are amazing too.

I see potential in that red-hair knight, he might prove strong in awaiting battles.

Ogrou keeps improving his abilities and is gaining more and more skills. Synthesis and Weakening of Sunlight Damage are cool:)

@MegamiRem It's so weird I didn't realize the fujoshi joke until running over the manga again, but I only really learned about them about...9 years ago, before that I didn't even know the term, though one of my friends was definitely fujoshi. And the community is inclusive, there are such things as fudanshi, so if you transition, you're still quite valid. There's even a short form anime about that: Fudanshi no Koukou Seikatsu, I think

@EvilJuju The fact that they're distilling it a LOT relative to the manga might be part of that. There are lots of details cut out, like how there are several synthesized abilities, though several of them do get made redundant with more skill synthesis anyway. Next episode probably will have stuff that I was genuinely shocked at and may be a bit triggering for some, potentially. And no, it isn't r*pe, thankfully

@Marinate1016 Frankly the sex is always there, though I think it dies down later. And well...let's just say next episode may be very interesting in some ways if what happens relative to the story

You mean the BRaves? Frankly, I'm not sure we're gonna get much and they all do get named later, but only one has done much that I recall

It's fun to see what potentials them mere goblins were able to realize, evolving into the most unlikely higher beings they are now, and some of them like Seiji potentially forming harems of their own 😆

Since most of this series has taken place where Ogrou was born I'm curious how his interactions and experiences will be in a city. Also, I'm thinking the girls that had originally planned on going to Trient will meet whomever they were going to/take care of business but stay with Ogrou.

one of the unique isekai anime I've ever seen but it is really good and interesting, especially the powerups and way world building and character development.
They did a good job with anime, I read manga a couple of chapters and after reading that I can say anime is much better than manga because the art style and the quality is bad compared to modern ones (according to me).
I highly recommend this anime to everyone

If the rest of the season is like this ep & the previous, this anime can potentially be a high 6 to a low 7.

Whole episode is so fast, that seems like random assemblage of various scenes, because it is. And evolutions with absolutely no character development, now i honestly dont know who is who, and dont care.

They're glossing over so much thats happened. I think pretty much everyone that watched the anime will have a very different experience of the story then anyone that read the webnovel/manga.

Its not that they changed anything in particular, they just continued without giving the viewer the time to realize what actually just happened.

I guess it makes sense if they're trying to end the show at episode 12, as a sociapathic mass murderer doesn't make a good protagonist for an anime, which will likely be primarily watched by people between ~14-20 yo

Whatever your views on this episode are, that Elf prancing around at the "celebration" awkwardly in complete silence has to be the most hilarious shit ever.

Everyone just stood around staring, which made it even better than only sound effects they added were the sound of her clothing rubbing against each other while she danced. Then the elves started crying and it gave me a bigger chuckle.

That old Goblin just burying his face in the fat-ass next to him, nice.

Honestly I'm just surprised to see a MC in an anime who doesn't act like a cuck around women. This anime isn't some high quality storytelling, it's fine.

With the war over, Ogrou advances his tribe, but to have someone like the fanatic Hobfu, a lot of weird people are made and trained as time progresses. Even more so, allies which are gained from prisoners, but not so easy to win over, Ogrou even has to take action himself against lowly ogres with orbs that are needlessly no match for him. Like seriously, weird people like dhampirs who get on Ogrou's nerves, become members of his growing tribe.

From then on, it's more synthesis training...and getting into trouble with the ladies from the dryads. From agriculture to building relations with other races, Ogrou is making progress, though at times he has to get out of his comfort zone and do what he needs to do, like the construction of the hot springs. Finally, the day of the departure to scout the human lands in different teams, the tribe is going to be a lot quiet without Ogrou.

Advance outside of the lands, to where the humans are.
