| Hananoi is a kind person but definitely hard to get to open up to others. I kinda wish we got more screen time with characters like Hibiki as they barely got on screen time. This episode details more into his relationship with Hotaru. He even saw some of her childhood photos! Feels like the two got closer. It's also obvious this anime will take every chance to get them alone together. |

Hinase had hoped that Hananoi would get along well with Hibiki and the others, but Hananoi, who ends up going his own way with Hinase , bluntly tells Keigo that he has no intention of getting along with him. |

So we having this nice and chill yearly shrine visit, everything's going fine, all the friends are here too ... even Hananoi-kun is somewhat normal this time ... but no, he just goes full edgelord on the blondie guy for no particular reason, lmao .. what was that. Also, i feel like the visual quality is kinda going down, some frames today were in particular bad. |

| First shine visit of the year huh nice. Hananoi needs to seriously learn that there's more than just the two of them in this world let alone their town. Working in a bookstore is a perfect role for Hotaru given her personality. It was cute seeing the reactions to the photo albums. Curious to see what Hananoi was like in the past. |

| Feel bad for the blonde guy he was only trying to be friendly with Hananoi, Hananoi needs to start understanding that there are other people in Hotaru's life that are important to her. |

| Each episode pisses me off more, I read at some point that Hananoi is less creepy as it goes on, but so far he's just worse. "Recharging" means pushing someone against a tree for some time, the dude threatens another guy just because he gave her bad advice, then says not to get too close to him or he might do something... Just don't do the thing! Half the anime "romance" is just centered around rapey shit, I swear... |

| Well the shrine visit ended a bit awkward, Hananoi wasn't being very sociable. He has his issues but at least he is trying for Hotaru, maybe a bit to hard at times tho. Hopefully things will keep going well for the couple. |
| Honestly might be one of the best romances I've watched, This show actually focuses deeply on the romance aspect and what it's like to be in a relationship. it feels more realistic than a lot of romance animes I've watched |

| The opinions are very mixed in this one looks like, I personally liked this episode a lot. Yeah the animation isn’t all there, but this episode didn’t really call for it anyway. The first half focusing on a shrine visit was nice, really liked the moments between Hotaru and her friends, and of course with Hananoi as well, it’s just a shame he was being mean to Keigo because he hadn’t had a chance to “recharge” with Hotaru yet lol, felt it was uncalled for but he was good for the rest of the episode at least. And Hotaru ended up getting a job at the bookstore, now she gets to make money and learn more about Hananoi at the same time, she’s working smarter not harder lol. And of course this leads to Hananoi being there every time her shift ends, it’s wholesome but at the same time I hope he isn’t getting there too early again and freezing in the cold. What I wasn’t expecting tho was Hananoi visiting Hotaru’s house, this gave us some nice moments like Hananoi looking through that photo album of small Hotaru, but the important part here was Hotaru finally opening up more when she revealed why she had a falling out with a friend in the past, we didn’t get all the details but it’s good to have an idea of what went down, and of course it’s also good that she was able to tell Hananoi, a sign that they’re getting closer if there ever was one, that headpat afterward was proof as well lol. |

| From Christmas to New Year's, Hontaru and Hananoi have grown, and alongside her friends of Hibiki "Kyo" Asami and Tsukiha Shibamura...plus Keigo Kurata. A group celebratory "date" of sorts of people from the same class. Aside from Keigo and Hibiki dating, Hananoi clearly isn't interested in anyone else but Hotaru, even in friendship, and that's what he's very jealous of. But when it comes to love and romance, Hotaru is just as naive of his advances, until he actually did the deed, like trying to kabedon without hugging her, maintaining their skinship distance. But soon, Hananoi got over his normalcy and began to stick closer to her friends. The break on Hotaru's 3rd term meant that she took on a part-time job as a bookstore attendant, and it's her first job. Hananoi wanting to see her is normal, and like as usual with school, he sees her home in the night, always wanting to have alone time with her as much as possible. Hotaru having to read his facial expressions to get what he wants, he's taken into her house for a bit, and even warns her about the potential for him to assault her if not careful. Going thru the former's photo albums, Hotaru feels like she's not putting effort into the relationship as much as she could, though he'd prefer her in long hair. As terrible as Hotaru trying to read the room, Hananoi has similar situations, which makes them birds of a feather, which makes the latter feel like he's into a proper relationship with as much corect "firsts" as he could realize with her. Slowly growing together with boundaries, one step at a time. |

| Very mixed feelings on this show so far. I really like Hotaru and I love seeing her grow, finding out her own emotions and feelings and all. But Hananoi-kun gives me the yikes. His behaviour seems very stalker-ish, obsessive and creepy to me. Kind of reminds me of an ex... In a way, this is all reminding me of Ojou to Banken-kun, weird animation glitches included haha |
