As usual, Rooney is still hooked on that kotatsu.

At the headquarters of the organization, there are two mischievous individuals, Warumono and Rooney, who keep eating mandarins under the kotatsu. With too much free time on their hands, they decide to try their hand at creating mandarin art. As they compete to see whose creation is better, they eventually produce masterpieces. Rooney, who is curious about Christmas, an event enjoyed by Earthlings every year, suggests organizing a gift exchange. Warumono, who struggles to decide what gift to give, meets a mysterious old man dressed as Santa in a dream who teaches him the secrets of choosing the perfect present.

This guy Warumono has some of the craziest dreams I've ever come across. But then there's Rooney, who's even weirder; I mean, these two were practically having a contest to see who could come up with the tastiest mandarin dish. Although, given that it's winter, mandarins do seem to taste better. And since it's the holiday season, everyone's in the giving spirit, exchanging presents and all. Poor Warumono seemed to struggle a bit with picking out the perfect gift though, lol.

But you know what they say, Christmas just wouldn't be the same without Santa Claus making his grand appearance. And let me tell you, seeing Santa in the flesh, that kindly old man with a heart of gold, really made me question what it means to be human. I guess the Rangers must've been extra good this year because they all got some presents from Santa. He really came through. Then there was the whole auditorium filled with different versions of Warumono, each with their own favorite animal...

In the end, it looks like the cat took the crown.

The mutual mandarin gift was one of the most adorable moments in this anime. I ship it.

This was delayed on Crunchyroll and I couldn't find the raws either for some reason. Oh well, I'll watch it now, even though it's 2 AM and I need to wake up early tomorrow lol. Don't be me.

Lmao I loved the epic mikan showdown. I want one too T^T
Everyone in the evil corporation is actually so wholesome. The gift exchange was precious.
The dispute between different versions of warumono was so funny. Especially the ending XD.

Sooo, there are no pandas in the park now, right? Pain.
Btw, I miss the guy who just recently started working. I hope he appears soon.
Loved this episode.

That dude had the angry vein symbol on his hand, that's next level.

Also, which idiot removed the comedy tag from the main page? I'm so sick of this "incompatible" subjective bullshit in regards to some of these tags, especially slice of life and comedy. A good reason to do your own tags for your personal list.

I thought this episode was just okay. I mostly found it more boring than previous episodes. Framing the orange competition and the Christmas gifts like a shounen battle was pretty funny, though.

Lol, I love these council type of situations where different personalities within the character clash. Cat's it is. Guess this is going to go full Kawaisugi Crisis fr this time.

One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron

As much as I am enjoying this anime, I wish it would give us a bit more on some of the supporting characters. Like what’s up with Pink’s dislike of Blue (as funny as it is), and do the twins merge to become one single ranger? (The intro only shows a single silhouette between the two of them), etc. I like that it’s a bit more heady and pensive than Kawaisugi Crisis., but while that had a clear arc, I’m still not sure where this is headed.

In Warumono's mind, pandas being purely white...is a no-go, and that's the nightmare he had. Watching videos of pandas, however, soothes his soul, but also shakes him at the same time. But the zoo returning the pandas...that's what make him rage, as both him and Rooney eat mandarin oranges and making art out of it...like an orange panda. The challenge is on between Rooney and Warumono, though their final creations are not over yet...and they have to eat the rest of the batch before carrying on.

The next agenda: Christmas present exchanges, and Warumono has to scout for one. In his dream, meeting Santa and deciding on the requirements of a present, he gets awakened by Rooney's consistent callings, and their challenge continues...with 2 boxes of mandarin oranges to each other, thereby creating more mandarin panda art. Too bad that Trigger has to settle for panda candy. With the Ranger family, they too get Christmas presents as well, though Mugi and Sora waited for their chance to open in daylight, as well as the others.

The exec meeting between the Warumonos to befriend pandas...of all kinds, and then bring a cat out? It won before the massacre.

I want that peeling oranges skin skill too.
I'm happy that even he agrees that cat cuteness is on the pinnacle of everything, lol
