| Man, Kurama can be so silly in this show changing from being lovestruck girl to angry mood in just a matter of moments. Funny how she wants to find a male partner. Another segment of this episode is Mendou somehow gets involved in arranged marriage. Good to know he is still relevant this season. Pretty amusing episode and it had a similar theme with characters being matched with certain partners. |

| Nice to see Kurama, Ryoko Rei and Ran again. Her entourage though has to be the most useless. To think the suitor was Rei of all people. If one has a large enough food supply and means to resupply it then Rei is an easy one to secure. Though im sure that would break the bank. Man this ep really showed how well the show handles simul events in the best possible way. The Mizunokoji house retainers sure pack some serious skills though. I dunno whats worst being married to a suit of armour or suddenly having a sis you know zilch about. Nice to see a new character join the lineup though. |

| Ngl I didn't think Kurama would return in the Remake. But I'm glad she did return with this story since it includes Ran and Rei. My only complaint is they cut one of my favorite jokes. Ran: "If they have a child, I'll make you raise it!" Lum: "Why is that my job?!" Giving Asuka a deep voice in the beginning was a nice touch. I'm a bit surprised they didn't rush the hell out of the Asuka story in this episode like I thought they would. That "To Be Continued!" screen was something I never expected to see in the Remake. I think only Episode 22 of Season 1 did something similar. Considering the OG anime adapted Asuka's debut story with 2 episodes I think it's only natural for the Remake to do something similar. Glad they didn't screw that up. Really excited for the next episode! |

| This was the funniest episode I’ve seen in a long time, wow. Nonstop fun from beginning to end. The engagement shenanigans from Kurama and Mendo were amazing. Of all the people in the universe to pick to marry and save her race with, Rei is the worst possible pick for Kurama. Bro can’t even put a full sentence together unless it’s “lum” or “food” 😂 Kurama’s helpers trying to prevent her from seeing rei’s tiger transformation had me crying. Then Ran, Ataru and the others getting involved just made things go from bad to worse for Kurama.in the long run they helped out because unless you got an infinite supply of food, Rei isn’t the one for marriage lmao. It was nice seeing some characters we haven’t seen in a while like Ran! Ataru wasting no time flirting with her even in this situation How tf did Ataru get in Mendo’s house like that lmao?? Wild episode gets even wilder with Ton realising he has a sister. Ataru damn near breaking the sound barrier to hound her down on the track was so funny. Can’t wait to see what she’s like next week. Looks like a real cutie! |

| Can’t go wrong with more Kurama, they did a good job with this one from my memory, and Kurama looked super cute when she was gushing over Rei, too bad she had no idea what he actually was, the bit where he kept going back to being the handsome version of himself when Kurama turned around was great lol. And Kurama may have lost another man, but Ran did have a nice moment with Rei in the end, but Rei being Rei is still stuck on Lum so the progress made wasn’t much. And the 2nd story in this one is what I’ve been waiting for, and I was afraid for a second they were shortening this arc to just 7 minutes or something but thankfully the entire next episode is continuing it which I’m very happy about because the episodes that cover this in the original are favorites of mine. But as you can see Tobimaro has a sister, they haven’t revealed her name yet so I’ll hold off on using it but we get a sneak peek of how she looks under the armor and Ataru can tell she’s quite the babe, I really look forward to seeing how they do certain scenes with her next episode. I also liked the new looks for the Mizunokoji girls, the green uniforms look good and I’m glad they kept the glasses. |

| Kurama has returned once again, and the matchmaking penguins sure have found a match for her...who could it be? Rei and Ren are definitely together now, though with the perchance that Kurama is targeting Rei, and Ran gets shot out when she bumps onto Lum, requesting for help. THe Holy Trinity of Obnoxiousness, Lum sure does not want to deal with her, but she has no choice. And to make things worse, Ataru is also targeting her as well. This whole love quadrangle situation is quite the crazied fanatic, and Ataru, Lum and Ran landing in Kurama's bedroom is a whole lot of hilarity, especially with Rei's true form. Mendo meeting his arranged potential fiancée, but Ryoko is not happy about it. And the arranged girl: a Mizunokoji family girl, both families have a bitter rivalry over it, though Mendo would not let Ryoko be married to that family, especially Ton. Ataru is rather especially helpful this time to scout said girl, which finally gives Ton the secret that he never knew all this while. And that maiden...is a rather reclused one in a full suit of armour. While Mendo and Ton fight it out, Ataru went to sight the maiden in armour, which the goofball he is, he managed to get a glimpse of her. Who exactly is the Mizunokoji girl in the full suit of armour? |

| I like Ran and Lum shenanigans again this time with Kurama and Rei. The first part is decent I would say. I want to see Kurama pursuing Ryunosuke being adapted later on because that's the funniest Kurama episode. Asuka is possibly the strongest female character physically in UY. It's interesting that they haven't showed her severe phobia lol that's gonna be next week full episode. And I also interested to see her school story being adapted too. This second season has a lot of potential for picking entirely new stories that aren't in the OG. |

| I think I might like Ataru more when he's the side goofy character of a story. His constant advances and rejection make for some good slapstick bits in between more "serious" scenes. Also, are you seriously telling me that girl had never seen a man before? |

You can grinning about your whole face, when you see the shanidigans of Kurama, Ran etc. There are hammers, who pop out suddenly of nowhere, traps in the bottom, talking crows - can't get enough of it. 😅 Its really great how they combined this 70ties goofy humour with a typical love-triangle trope. We have many anime in today's time, which focus on love triangles, but very few take itself so less seriously and do it in a such carefree way as Urusei Yatsura. This 70ties-humour, combined with beautiful 2024 animation really makes this reboot unique.✨ According to Rumic World, the source chapter for this epsisode was released on November 2, 1983. 40 years later and has aged a single bit. Mizunokoji-Fragment was more of a teaser for next week. when it really hits of😃 |

@SouthRzVa There is a manga chapter / OG anime episode about that. And they (Kurama and the tengus) attempt to change her sex... but somebody gets in the way :)

| Kurama's resumes her mate search and the computer determined her optimum match to be Ran's glutton Rei. Even if Ran and Lum never got to her ship, I think Rei would be too busy chowing down on the food to ever do the deed with Kurama. Begging Lum to help her was not a good idea with how Rei's mysterious mind works. Ryouko isn't taking Shutaro being part of their father's plan to make peace with the rival Mizunokouji family well. Her being the olive branch is the alternative but Shutaro won't stand for his sister being with Tobimaro. Turns out Tobimaro's himself isn't aware that he has a sister. Wearing armor and having an entourage of female bodyguards, she appears sheltered from the outside world. Whatever she is doing running with armour on (likely training), Ataru's determination knows no bounds and catches up to see a glimpse of her cute face. |

| It was nice to see Kuruma again. She's barely shown up at all, which is such a shame since she's a really fun character. Rei, Ran, and Lum all being in the same room together is always such a blast! Mendo and Tobimaru are a treat together, and adding Ataru and Royko to the mix makes it even crazier! I have to say I really loved Ataru in this episode. He was as obnoxious as possible; it was great! |
