| Hot springs, holiday season, and a festival-like mood made this episode very wholesome. Luck played in part as they won a lottery although I'd say it's an overused trope in anime these days for hot springs. On the other hand, it's still great to see everyone together enjoying the holidays. The kids looks like they enjoyed it too |

| Well we knew this moment would come and that her mother might not like the idea was clear as well. So this could go any way now. The main being shy about the hotspring part while Shiori was clueless about his feelings was funny. |
| After Christmas comes the New Year's, and Shiori got a message from her mother, though she does not intend to return anytime soon and spend it with Ichiro and his siblings on the traditional events. For some reason, Shiori won something else than the bear: a hot spring trip for a whole family. A relaxing trip for Ichiro, Shiori, Machi and Fumio, and Machi is left to Shiori's care, with her stinger properly hidden. Once the children are kept to sleep, both Ichiro and Shiori spent time together on drawing manga, but the main crux being that Shiori left her home island without her mother's permission. Shiori need not fear, because she has Ichiro by her side, and that's enough for her. The dreaded phone call still rings, and Shiori wants everyone to listen on the conversation, though the part when Shiori suddenly confessed and Ichiro following up on his whim, it was a shock to her mother, which Shiori chuckled it off. Of course, the marriage ordeal isn't seen in a bright light, and Shiori's entire family decides to go see her. Even though Ichiro is worried that this'll affect his relationship with Shiori and eventually her family, she being fine with it just shows the amount of assertiveness she has, against the backdrop of someone who isn't self-confident. Sure enough, the pact is hurting the both of them, but they have time to think and sort out feelings. It's not just the couple, but a whole family fighting together against the backdrop of a family that sees otherwise. How will this fare? |

| I just can’t with this show man it’s too same cute. They somehow followed up that cute Christmas confession with an even cuter new year’s trip. I like how you can see how Shiori and Ichiro have got more comfortable around each other and can express how they feel a lot easier now. Cute moments like the tablet/foot bath and the argument at the gift shop were awesome But there’s trouble in paradise, can’t wait to see how things go with Shiori mom and dad next week |

| That family trip to the onsen surely felt great. Next week this shows gonna take a sharp turn, it's time to hunt the villain who kidnapped the pure princess, and made her do all his deadline work. To arms! |

| Oh no, the plot has come and it brought the whole family lol. It was inevitable sadly, I don’t think it would have mattered if Ichiro talked over the phone or not, they were gonna try to bring her back. Well I got news for ya, if Ichiro can’t convince you, our secret weapons Machi and Fumio will be sure to work lol. But besides that we got to see a super sweet hot springs trip, lots of fun was had, and we learned some vital information that Goshiki can “tuck” her stinger lol, I’m just curious as to where she tucks it. |
| very cute episode. i absolutely adore ichiro and shiori. not a fan of shiori's mother though. lying about what happened with ichiro on the phone, saying shiori only has a place to belong on the island, and then showing up to take her away. hopefully she redeems herself next episode. |

| I figured a confrontation with Shiori's mom was coming sooner or later and now it's here. I do wonder what Shiori will do if her mother demands her come home without Ichiro but with the dad there too maybe he'll play mediator. Side note, I also wonder how Shiori tucks in her stinger (I still find it weird that she has a stinger in the first place and that her mood directly affects Ichiro). |

He also lacks any sort of personality and it's really dragged the show down a bit for me. From the very beginning the show itself seems like it doesn't know what it wants to be. It crams together all these different aspects, and it all just blends together making everything bland with no star colour to make it stand out. Like, there's a caretaking aspect of a lone father figure (we've seen it a lot in anime), it's a brother this time, cool. He's also a mangaka, and I do like this types of anime, awesome. There's a prospect of a wholesome romance too, sweet. But then, the girl is actually a princess from a faraway island and she has a special tail you form a marriage pact with? What?! I still watched this after suspending my disbelief hoping it'll still be one of those wholesome shows, but each episode only proved that it could really do without this princess stuff and be just a cute slice of life, because so far this plot point didn't matter much at all, only making things more awkward between the main characters. The tension achived from a family drama could be easily done without any fantasy elements. And yeah, the relationship itself is quite boring and lacks depth, they talk about love and marriage, but I see only awkward kids who only just experienced their first crush. |

| I don't like when the tension and drama is forced. I mean it was evil mother who got flustered and hung up the phone call rather than dude doing that lol. Moreover she lied about that.. yeah evil indeed. Though I'm curious how they pinpointed the exact address but that can wait, first we need to deal with the family. |

| Very disappointed with this episode, I was looking forward for Kuuga meeting with Mommy but instead they wasted the entirety of the episode with an onsen family trip Sighh oh well gotta wait for next week |
